BSOUTHERN LEISURE BUILDERS AND COASTAL CAROLINA ROOFING EXPERTSSouthern Leisure Builders installed our sun room in the summer Spring of 2018. This particular year there were many days of rain, and as you may recall, Hurricane Florence inundated us with her presence. This caused our project to be quite delayed. But Southern Leisure persevered and they finally completed it at the end of summer, not too far after Florence arrived. Our sunroom survived, but it did flood. As a result, Southern Leisure had to come out and drill some weep holes under the windows to prevent this. Not sure if this was a design flaw or install flaw. Fast forward to March 2020. I accidentally shot a rock from my lawn tractor and it struck one of the hurricane proof windows, the fixed pane. The entire unit had to be replaced. This occurred while North Carolina was in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic and the state was shut down. I called Southern Builders and left a voice message. Within 5 minutes, someone called me and assured me they would place the order for the replacement but could not install until construction workers were allowed to work again. I am happy to report the work was completed on June 26, 2020. They did such a good job putting everything back that my wife still has not realized the window has already been replaced. Aside from Mother Nature and scheduling delays, you should be pleased with their work. My wife and I enjoy using our sun room all year long.- Jeff S.

The office staff was very helpful in meeting our needs. The crew arrived right on time as promised and could not have been more pleased with their professionalism and expertise. They were very nice people whose experience was displayed in every thing that they did for us. ACarolina Home Exteriors LLCThis was not our first project with the company. Our first experience was having some windows replaced. That went well, so when we decided we wanted a screen room, I gave them a call. Their price seemed reasonable for the work, so we signed on.. All of the workers used by Carolina Home were considerate and capable. They left the work area clean and seemed to be interested in making us very happy with our screen room. They were open to changes as we went. One was a sidewalk connecting the screen room to existing sidewalk at the side of the house. Bob offered suggestions on joining the two to make it look professional and it does. The screen room itself is 14x14 with a very tall vaulted ceiling. Matching old shingles with new can be challenging, but they did a closer match than I thought might be possible and the roof area blends very nicely. We expected the screen room would look good, but we were pleased beyond our expectations. We supplied the ceiling fan and an outdoor light for the entry from the yard. That worked very well since we could select exactly what we liked. I was impressed when one of the workers who had accidently torn an existing house screen in the screen room area replaced the screen without being asked. (We were going to take the screens down as soon as the room was finished). The entire experience was pleasant. Now we are looking forward to more spring days to get out and enjoy some sunshine and warm breezes. I will continue to have the company do other jobs since they are fair, dependable, and do quality work.- Rae Anne S.

FWe have been working with Baker Roofing company through our HOA. We had initially been told by a different company we needed a complete replacement, but were told by Baker they could repair the damage without a complete replacement. We had a continued issue with leaks affecting our breaker box two weeks after Baker Roofing completed their repairs and assured us that our roof was in good shape. They continue to insist that they did good work and not at fault for any of the issues we are having. We had a third opinion from a private contractor who gave us the following picture and evaluation.
