AHad to visit this amazing vet hospital & Dr. A while visiting NC on vacation. Although somewhat of emergency situation, they got us in the next morning & even allowed me to accompany my dog which is rare during COVID! Dr. A, thank you for running bloodwork to ease my mind! Thank you as well for seeing Rocco so quickly! Your care, compassion & hospital were amazing with both Rocco and myself and I can’t thank you enough!

FMy dog was returned with an undiagnosed limp, sores from never removing the harness, sores on elbows from being kept on hard floor, and 10 lbs skinnier. Instead of doing all they could I was told to bring him back in and not to go to my regular vet. This place has a problem. Bad pet care and bad business.

FWell they sold the company and the price went from $29 to $47. The price seemed like quite a big jump but I was still willing to use them. The new person came and picked up our dog and when she dropped him back off he had cuts around his throat and on his skin. She does not do very well with the clippers and I was not satisfied with the grooming at all.

FBeware! I wanted to warn you against using this service.
We hired Samantha to train our 8 mo great dane. we agreed to the advanced board and train program that was 10-12 weeks of advanced training for $1500. For payment, I wrote 3 checks, post dated for 2 consecutive months. Samantha promised us daily reports and pictures of our girl. She was quick to cash the first check, but she did not follow through with the communication. I had to inquire about the progress. It was then that Samantha mentioned that our puppy wasnt eating well but she was keeping an eye on her. 13 days into training, Samantha text us, telling us that our puppy was still not eating and she had lost weight and she was concerned about her and asked us to come pick her up.
We picked our girl up the next day to find that she had lost 10lb and minimal training had been done. We brought her home and she ate like a champ! Samantha inquired about her the next day, but then not again. 1 week later, I text Samantha that we would not be bringing our dog back for any further training. She never responded.
The next week she cashed the 2nd $500 check!!! She did nothing to earn that money! No one with any conscience, common decency or business ethic would have cashed that check. Samantha has not responded to any of my communications since then. Speaking with other locals, they have heard of similar interactions with Samantha.
I would NOT recommend SASK-9. I feel like we were the victims of a scam artist at the expense of our puppy

APetDocks Veterinary HospitalGreat! Vet and staff are excellent. Patient, professional, and courteous. Banfield at Pet Smart had told me I would need to have my dog sedated to trim his nails because he is hard to handle. That was a cost of $225. Joe, who is the groomer was confident he could do it. He is a magician with animals. He took my dog to his work area and was back in 5 minutes. I thought he had been unable to do it, but he said he was through. Unbelievable! And the cost was $14.95. I would highly recommend Pet Docks to anyone.- Ray S.

APawadiseThe day we contacted them we had just rescued a 10-week-old puppy from a high-kill shelter on his last day. He was flea-ridden, had ticks, and had never been bathed. We called around to some locations and were refused by all. They all cited a 14-day period after rescue before allowing him into their facilities. My daughter had just gone to Pawadise the week before with her dog, so she called them. She explained the situation and was told to bring him straight in to their facility. It took about an hour, but when we returned to pick him up he was clean as well as free of fleas and ticks. I don't know what I would have done without their help. As an added bonus, they have a standard discount when you bring in a rescue animal. The owner is dedicated to saving as many animals as possible. This is her way of helping new owners.- Merrie R.

ADoggie Styles Pet GroomingHe is excellent. The owner works by himself and he doesn’t take more than six dogs at a time. You drop them off in the morning and it is first come first served, so the first one dropped off will be the first one to get a return call. The prices are very reasonable and he is very personable. When I lived in DC I was spending about $600 for the two of them, but here I spend about $75.- Trent P.
