ACARL'S CONCRETE FINISHINGOutstanding! Carl was very professional, kept me in the loop with photos and texting throughout the entire process. Had to remove existing small patio as part of the project, no problem. Asked for a certain slope for water runoff and did exactly as I asked. Did not leave a mess and picked up everything as would be expected. I fixed up the landscape and a little dirt to finish it up, it's now beautiful and in use. Great job and I love the job the crew did. No question here on my part who I'd use again for my next project.- Drew B.

AConcrete Coatings ENC LLCThey came when they said they would, they worked with my schedule, they were diligent and worked very hard, in some pretty high heat. I was very happy with the work that was done, which was to grind down some concrete decking around our pool, and recoat and stain it. The previous work was not done well, and while I could have gone with the previous company but given the poor job they did, I felt better going with Lawrence. He gets back to you immediately and everything was very professionally done. If I could show some before and after photos, I would.- Alison R.

AAmerican Custom Hardscapes IncThis was a big project and after receiving several quotes we chose American Custom Hardscapes, because Daniel offered the best design, while remaining affordable. The design process truly was custom- Daniel listened to our needs and drew out the project to scale, while we flipped through examples of past projects and selected finishes. We already had a high level of confidence in their work having seen other projects finished by them in our neighborhood, so that also made the decision a little easier. My neighbor and I decided to get our patios done at the same time and there was a crew of 8 workers between the two houses with both projects (my neighbor had landscaping done as well) taking 4 days to complete. The crew showed up routinely each morning, were very polite and worked at least 8 hours. Daniel, the owner, was on site each morning, making sure everyone was squared away and would stop by through out the day. Daniel was great to work with- I made a last minute modification to the design, which he handled with ease and he was reachable when I had questions. The finished product is better than what we envisioned- truly fantastic. The crew took great pride in their work and really paid attention to detail. They left the site very clean; our lawn stayed in tact and there was no debris left behind. A few weeks later, Daniel followed up with us to make sure we were satisfied. AAbove & Beyond ConcreteMr Gayhart and his crew did an excellent job on the driveway. Each member of the crew was polite, knowledgeable and professional. The old concrete was removed and bed prepared in one day. Concrete poured and worked next day. When the crew was finished I could not tell they had been here except for the new driveway. I mean they clean up everything! They solved a slight drainage problem and just made a much better "curbside appearance" These folks show up on time..work till done..and come back the next day ready to hit it. There is no "Clock watching" If you need concrete work...call this company.- Richard T.

AAbove & Beyond ConcreteOnce I accepted the quote, and determined when the work would begin, Chester explained the process and set a schedule. Chester was early or on time every day. He stayed to the proposed schedule even during some extreme heat. My property has a distinctive slope in three different directions, making this a very difficult job. The drive and patio flow exactly as I wanted with even less drop or angle than I expected. He constructed my concrete ramp perfectly, he actually beveled the sides making it safer and more aesthetic, exceeding my expectations. AI called Eric and even though I knew they were extremely busy (two days before a hurricane) and I could hear the phones ringing in the background, but he took the time to educate me on the best method for installation, addressed my concerns for safety, explained how they’d do the installation and took the time to teach me the correct process for shutting off the main circuit breaker, running the generator, turning on the CB that they’d install for the generator and then how to decide which CB’s I’d be able to use with my generator. I already had a predisposition that I couldn’t trust hiring people, but as I was on the phone with Eric, I felt like I was speaking to a family member. The electrician he sent out, didn’t disappoint at all. He arrived on time, confirmed that he understood what I wanted, explained what he would do to make it happen, and he took the time to teach me what he was doing. After he did the installation, he let me fire up my generator and he stayed to make sure I knew how to run the generator, switch the CB’s and even showed me what the generator would sound like if it were overwhelmed and how to reset the generator if it’s internal CB tripped. As busy as they were, the day before a hurricane, I felt like I was their only customer. They treated me like family. Not trying to solely seek profit, but honestly making sure my wife and I were prepared for the hurricane and safe. I cannot recommend them enough. I will definitely be using them again.

CWe had an excellent experience getting a new roof with JTC about six years ago, and to be fair I meant to jump on and write a very positive review then. However, we've since had some serious water damage along one section of eaves / soffit, to the point where we've now had water run down through our wall/flooring and into our HVAC ducts. I've emailed twice and called but haven't gotten any response at all. At this point, I'll try someone else, but I did have a very positive initial impression and would have thought that JTC would have at least come out to take a look at the problem for me.
