    E&B Boarding
I chose them because I like that they put the dogs in social groups according to their size and energy level. I wanted my very active dog to get some exercise by playing with the other dogs there. And they told me when I picked him up that they had paired him with another dog and they wore each other out. The facilities are pretty far out of town and perhaps a little run down looking, but I don't think the dogs care about that! The owner was very nice and professional and obviously really loves dogs. I really wish they had Saturday morning drop-off hours, but they don't let you drop off or pick up on Saturday. The price is totally reasonable. They offer daycare too. We will definitely use them again.

My dog Charlie was always taken care of well at Willow Grove.  I don't have any complaints with the service I received.  Dr. McLeod and the entire staff are very knowledgeable and professional.  They have a very nice facility.

    East Carolina Veterinary Service
I could not ask for a more caring and professional veterinarian!
Dr. Kuhn came out to the truck (at our request) and put our and quot;Little Boyand quot; (his name) to sleep - she was so gentle, caring and professional!
We take our other two dogs to Dr. Kuhn and she is just simply the very best - always!
Her staff is also very passionate and caring. We have never come close to having a bad experience and I have recommended her to a number of friends and can recommend her (and her staff), without reservation; we would not go anywhere else for care!!!
Our animals are truly a part of our family, so we insist on the very best care for them - trust me, you'll find the very best care at East Carolina Veterinary Service; the team is awesome!!!

. I have used this vet service for 14 years. Dr. Hayes is great and his staff is courteous, helpful, and professional. I had to use another vet to come to my home to put down my sick, elderly cat. Dr. Hayes would not provide this service Other than this one example, this is a great vet. ps The vet who came to my home within hours of my request concerning my cat (and I had never met or spoken to her before) was Dr. Linda Kuhn another vet in Greenville I woud highly recommend.

    E&B Boarding
The owner, Barrett, was very friendly and professional.  I could tell right away that he is certainly a dog lover.  I have a 3 yr old Golden Retriever, and she gets nervous in new places and around new people, so I am very cautious about taking her to new places.  I'm quite overprotective, and she is like my spoiled child.  I felt at ease as Barrett explained how he cares for the dogs and allows them to run about and socialize with each other multiple times per day when they are boarding.  He supervises this play time of course, and since my dog is 70 lbs but timid and was not used to being around other dogs, he placed her in the area with the smaller dogs until she gained a little courage.  He learns the character of each dog he boards and responds to them accordingly.  He said my dog was timid around him initially, so he gave her space and let her warm up to him, which she did, and she didn't rush to get to the car and get out of there like she has when boarding other places.  She has stayed at E&B twice now, and it will be the only place I take her from now on.  The E&B Boarding website is also quite impressive, with pictures of the facility and some of the dogs he boards, as well as all the information you'd like to know about boarding your pet with him.  It even has information and links to other pet services in the area.

I have been using Barbara's for about 10 years.  I have always felt intimidated by her personality.  She is extremely abrupt and has no concern for the harshness she portrays.  My first red flag with her was after the death of my Bichon pup.  I called to cancel his appointment and she asked my why.  I told her he had deceased and she was sympathetic and asked what happened.  I explained he had severe pancreatitis and wasn't able to overcome it as he was an older dog.  She said Aw, that is what feeding those McDonalds cheeseburgers will do to your dog.  I was horrified.  I felt as if she was blaming us for his recurrent pancreatitis even though I knew that wasn't the case.  We continued to use her until she cut my other dog too close and I started going elsewhere.  I eventually came back to her since the other place was no better.  I have two Shih Tzu girls and each time I pick them up, one will have an ok haircut and the other will have an awful cut.  I think her hubby helps and he is no groomer, but super nice man. Rather than complain and find a new groomer I felt too intimidated by Barbara and kept going back month after month.  Two weeks ago was the last straw.  My mom and I dropped off our Shih Tzu's and when we went to pick them up, Barbara met us in the parking lot to take us for a tour of her renovated house.  When we picked up the dogs, Craig, her hubby, said my mom's dog had pooped in his cage.  When he brought him over to us I noticed something black on his back paw.  I thought this was some of the pooh, he had failed to clean off of him.  Rather than question or embarass him, we just took the dog and left.  After my mom got him home, she noticed the area was a sore and not pooh.  She called Barbara who answered the phone extremely friendly and was inquiring into an upcoming trip.  When my mom mentioned her dog's paw she just gave the phone to her husband in mid conversation.  He then told my mom that the dog had gotten his paw caught in the cage.  He said they had used septic to stop the bleeding.  Never apologized, but blamed it on the dog.  He was taken to the vet and had to have his toenail removed.  The vet advised my mom to take the bill to Barbara, but we are just going to switch groomers.
I always felt a gut instinct that if she was rude and unfriendly to us and other family members who took their dogs to her, what was she like with the dogs when we were not there.  I will definitely not use her again and would not suggest anyone else do so either.

This place does not do grooming. I used them for a couple of years hoping to have my dog groomed at some point. The last time I boarded my dog, I asked point blank and quot;are you ever going to groom my dogand quot; and the owner replied and quot;noand quot;. Well, thanks and goodbye. I am not using a place that does not perform all the services advertised, and by the way, I saw them grooming dogs several times that I boarded. My dog was and is a loveable, sweet little westie and I groom him myself. It isn't easy to groom a westie, but he is an easy westie to groom. You don't put my dog on your list, I take you off mine.

All in all, this is a good veterinarians office. We've always courteous care for our pets. My only complaint is that their record keeping is sometimes wrong and sometimes the wait, even with an appointment, is extraordinarily long.

Our dog was very sick but we had to wait for the appointment due to having to pay full amount of visit and we did not get paid until following week,we felt so terrible seeing her so sick but when we finally got to see the vet they did take excellent care and she seems to feel much better and is gaining back her weight . I had just wished they had a payment plan and not a credit card type of arrangement with a high interest charge, but happily all worked out. And the vet and staff did offer. Quality care.

The verterinaria, Dr. Hays, spent quite a bit of time with us, and discussed some of the health issues particular to NC, as well as discussing each of our dogs' individual past medical history. He was thorough, and relaxed, and gave us his full time and attention. The dogs were so comfortable they fell asleep on the exam room floor, and his manner with them was calm, gentle and professional. I have seen many veterinarians over the years, and I was impressed with his overall demeanor and professionalism.
