ASUN DOG CONSTRUCTIONLawrence Freese headed up our project with Sun Dog, and from the beginning, my husband and I found him extremely knowledgeable and informative. He never wasted our time, arriving promptly, delivering information in an efficient, concise manner, but always welcoming questions and answering them to our satisfaction. Juggling the numerous workers required for our varied jobs almost seamlessly, Lawrence coordinated the work in such a way to inconvenience us as little as possible. He provided workers with excellent skills who without exception were extremely conscientious about their work. Truly, these folks were craftsmen. And, they were personable, honest, and pleasant. When, over the course of about a month an occasional snag occurred. Lawrence responded immediately with a more than satisfactory solution. We would - and have - recommended Lawrence to friends, and we would - and have - engaged Lawrence and Sun Dog for future home improvement jobs! (I answered NA for price, because we'd had two other contractors come by to calculate estimates, but after a considerable wait, they either hadn't come by or had come, but hadn't gotten back to us with the info. We went with Lawrence because he was there with the info on the spot, so we cannot compare his prices to those of others.)- MAGGIE O.

APeyton's Electric IncI am scared of heights so he used a ladder and changed it. I have a light bulb extension changer but it has a little cage over it. He and his friends flew right up the ladder and changed it. For home security I like to have light around my house. He was a lot cheaper than anybody else. Somebody else wanted to take a lift and wanted to charge over $200, but he just took a ladder and went right up there and changed it. He was much cheaper and he was a local guy. My neighbors had some work done by him. I was very satisfied. He is only about a mile down the road and I am near his business so it was easy for him to get to me. I would use him again.- Barry B.

AMr. Electric of GreenvilleI just moved into my home a couple days ago and found 4 light fixtures that were working at home inspection, but suddenly not on move-in. I called Hall's and was told they'd have someone here in about 30 minutes. Sure enough, he arrived as promised. After hearing my story, he set straight to work. I found him to be efficient, knowledgable, and friendly. I will ask them back when I'm ready to o stall new ceiling fans. My technician was named Byron.- Teresa H.

ADANMARK ELECTRICAL CO INCThey were the 3rd company we had out to quote us on placing a cable outlet on an interior wall backing a set of stairs. We first had the electrons who helped build the house come out. They said could not be done without destroying the Sheetrock & quoted well over $1000. Danmark came out for a quote & was way more reasonable. Two very pleasant general an came out placed a second outside flood light & repositioned the one we had. & ran the cable outlet.- Anna B.

AMr. Electric of GreenvilleI've had these folks out three days in a row. I actually had five projects for them to do. The electrician who installed the smoke detectors in the house when we had it built,never connected the hot wire to the Electrical Box. Not only did they repair this, they installed seven new smoke detectors with carbon dioxide detectors. This same day they installed a ceiling fan in our spare bedroom and installed outside wiring for a patio. Their knowledge of products led me to install a nicer looking post with a channel for wires and a light on top instead of a four by four wooden post that would have looked messy. They had to come back the next day to repair our media closet. The company that originally installed the wiring left them exposed an in a mess, then when out of business. Byron and Dean reran the wiring and the closet is much neater, now. I'll definitely be calling them in the future. They're very reasonable, efficient, and professional.- David S.

AMr. Electric of GreenvilleRequested service: Replace florescent tubes and ballast in garage ceiling lights. Arrived at estimated time, next day after I called for an appointment. Surveyed the requirements and left to pick up new lamps & ballast. Returned 30 minutes later with parts and completed the replacement/repair in short order. At my request the service technician also swept the dust off of the ceiling fan blades in the garage. I'm a senior citizen who recently turned 80 yrs. old. Climbing ladders to reach a high ceiling is no longer safe for me. I was very happy to find a qualified local contractor on Angie's List that was willing to handle this small job for me. I give Hall Electric a rating of 110% and am happy to recommend them to any and all future customers. They provide excellent service at a reasonable price!- William V.

AMatt Phillips and his team did an amazing job on several projects we had. They encapsulated our crawlspace, installed a dehumidifier (provided wireless humidity monitor), installed a bath fan, replaced an old can light, and added insulation to our attic and bonus room knee walls. Their workmanship is top notch and their pricing was competitive. The team was professional and detailed oriented. I especially liked working with Matt Phillips, he was very patient, and answered all of my questions while providing me honest feedback on some items and even guidance on other projects that his team were not going to tackle for us. He is just a stand up guy who genuinely cares about his customers and ensuring they are taken care of, before, during and after the project is done. I highly recommend them for any home-improvement needs you may have.
