    B & M Home Improvements
Brett was very responsive to any phone call, text and email. Always took the time to answer questions. After they got started the crew were always on time and stayed until late every day until the job was completed. I would definitely recommend this company for structural damage.

    JT Harris Construction LLC
JT Harris exhibited excellence from start to finish. Mr. Sean Farrer provided a construction schedule which gave a through detailed description of each stage of the project. I was most impressed with the way JT Harris meant each deadline. In addition, the end product was impeccable.. Because of the professionalism displayed, my organization has recently hired JT Harris again to build two more homes in Greenville, NC.

    Brady's Floor Sanding & Refinishing
Not Well !!! Never came back to finish after they got paid. Use old equipment that really makes a mess. Contacted Mr Brady for over a year giving him a chance to make it right and be a man of his word. Was told over and over he would send someone to finish - never happened.

    B & M Home Improvements
Bret is super professional, VERY responsive, and is great to work with. He is timely, did what he said he would do, and went above and beyond in fixing some of the errors that his crew did (some paint splashed on the wall and his crew came and got it fixed quickly). They finished a little ahead of schedule, so that tells you how prompt and reliable he is. Price is a little higher, but you pay for the professionalism, reliability, and overall work result. I would use B&M again in the future.

    BOYD'S CARPET
Came out within one day to measure. Jason brought samples for me to choose what looked best with my walls. A great deal of effort to make the best use of the square footage yet still make sure of no seams ,all one direction, etc. they gave me a better overall price than the big box stores and the service was amazing. They even replaced a piece of vinyl under my washer/dryer that another contractor had poorly installed a year ago and was lifting. The installer laid molding to prevent this happening again and cleaned the baseboards before replacing the utilities. WoW! I would recommend this dealer to anyone looking for new carpet. What a pleasant experience.

    Brady's Floor Sanding & Refinishing
Rocky start -- I called to set up an appointment a few weeks in advance. The appointment day came and went with no confirmation call, and a no one showed up. After waiting for an hour I decided to leave. . The next day Mr. Brady called and offered to come that day to provide an estimate. During this time I continued to ask friends and colleagues who had their wood floors refinished for referrals.
I called two additional companies to get estimates for the job. Brady's was the cheapest, but surprisingly estimated 60 square feet  more for the job than the other companies. During this time I researched the materials and methods for floor refinishing. Ultimately I decided to go with Brady's Sanding and Flooring because I want a traditional finish. Even though this method has a longer cure time and produces more fumes, I hope it is a very durable finish.
The crew was friendly and the floors look nice. I was charged an additional $50 for the wood that covers the threshold between the kitchen (tile) and the room with the wood floor. Unfortunately one of the thresholds will have to be removed because the crew pieced together 2 ends of the moulding and the thresholds doesn't match. In my opinion, no enough attention to detail was given to the installation of the shoe moulding (over $300.00 cost) as it doesn't cover the trim completely, and doesn't match the rest of the house.
I called Mr. Brady to discuss my concerns, but never heard back about why the job was done this way, or if he was willing to correct the mismatched threshold. I called a second time, hoping he would get back to me before I wrote this review of the work, but he just cashed my check and never returned my call.

5 month update. The finish on the wood floors is far more susceptabale to scratches and indentations under normal use than I imagined it would be. My  husband and I continue to find unfinished patches on the surface of our floors leaving us to wonder if we fewer coats of finishing product was applied than promised.

    Family Floors
Chick and Matt were professional, knowledgeable and efficient.  They worked with my schedule.  All of the staff were courteous and willing to assist.  We arranged for 2 bedrooms to be done first and then to finish the kitchen.  They then worked on the other part of the house which took extensive repairs in the bathroom.  Placed underlayment and linoleum.  They stained the wood quarter round to match existing wood.  They recommended changes when needed.  The linoleum pattern was placed exactly and we could not tell where the seams were.  They even placed linoleum on 2 landings, which was not included in the original order.  Other changes were made easily and quickly.  Very pleased with Family Floors.  Definitely will be using them in the future.  Excellent service.  Wide selection of products to choose from.  "That Was Easy".

    FLOORING AMERICA
The tile we purchased was very nice and a reasonable price. Overall, Thad's Flooring America has a good selection. We hired a local contractor to install the tile and everything went quite well.

for the Laminate, the sent Michael's Floor service and the night before, we moved everything from downstairs either upstairs or into the kitchen, since the floor in there had already been done. When the installer arrived, he removed our carpet, and in the process, he tore a chunk out of our door while removing the carpet. When my wife and I confronted him about it, he tried to say that it was already like that and actually suggested what I probably did it. I can't even phantom how he could have thought that would make me feel better. After a bit of back and forth with me asking him to replace the door, and him saying he didn't do it, he finally gave me $30; as if I can replace a broken door for $30. Then, when he went to open the laminate we had ordered, it was found to be completely destroyed from water damage. As a result, the laminate had to be reordered and we had to live in a house that had been completely turned upside down for a week. I realize that the laminate was ordered from another company and probably arrived damaged. It would have been nice however, if someone had taken a look at it before they tore out our carpet and made our downstairs unlivable for a week. Once Michael returned the following week with the laminate, things went much better. He was polite and friendly and finished the job quickly and even ran my speaker cables for me. All in all the project was a success despite the fact that I'm not going to have to get that door replaced on mostly my own dime.
