    MIKE'S AUTO & TRUCK REPAIR
He has got a huge garage right behind his house and he has always got cars there. He is an excellent mechanic. We've been going to him for probably 8-10 years now. He does excellent work and has great prices. I would recommend him to everyone. He is pretty busy.

    Peter's Auto & Mechanical Repair
He’s got good diagnostic equipment. He was able to give me a read out and was very nice. He took the time to explain to me what he had found from the test. He understood that was my only transportation, so they were able to fix the problem the same day. They followed up with me via phone to make sure everything was going ok afterwards.

They ran all kinds of test which took about a week. The manager finally advised unless the error message was really bothering me just to ignore it. The fee was minimal and shortly after the error message disappeared.

    DRAPER TIRE & AUTOMOTIVE
Had to get four new tires for my 2009 Honda CRV. Draper Tires had the best prices and were available the same day I called to change them for me. Also came with free rotation with purchase of tires. Staff was very helpful and timely. Overall good experience.

    Goldsboro Tire Service Inc
Called around for pricing- Sears wanted 60-70 dollars for the balance and rotation which I thought was slightly pricey. Found this place and they said it was $10 a tire and they could fit us in that morning. The shop was great, very friendly employees and we were in and out of there within an hour.

    GOLDSBORO HONDA
Called to get the lock actuator for my 09 Honda CRV because, of course, it is a dealer only part. The price of the actuator itself was ONLY around $65+tax but reading online, with labor from the dealership would have cost upwards of $400 so we decided to just tackle the project ourselves. Called the week prior, I believe it was Thursday or Friday and they told me they would have the part in by Tuesday of the next week. By the end of the week, we still hadn't heard from the dealership. Called to ask if the part had arrived and they said it had and to come and pick it up. Price overall is probably the same as any other dealership would be. We did have to get my air conditioner serviced and we paid almost $100 for about $20 worth of parts and the rest in labor... but like I said, that's probably typical all around. Just lowered the overall rating due to the lack of response back from the dealership.

    Firestone Complete Auto Care Store
Went in for annual inspection. Ended up needing all four tires replaced. They were down to 2/32 of an inch so they did need to be replace but the purchasing of the tires was time consuming and then they took a Lon time to accrual my get them on the wheels. Professional and courteous, just slow at the labor.

Ash Street Automotive of Goldsboro Inc
I had been put in the middle of 2 mechanics about what to order and someone told him to order the entire piece and I only needed a part and Durwood got upset with me and told me that I would have to call the dealership because if they didn't know what to order then how was he suppose to know and that I would have to take care of this.  I just felt he didn't need to speak to me the way he did, very unprofessional and unnecessary, I'm the customer.  I would not return to him for services.

    Rays Auto Service
A friend had recommended Ray's and went with me because he said that I needed a power steering belt replaced.  We pulled in and had to go next door to buy the belt and take it to Ray's.  They didn't have any bays open to pull the car into so they parked it behind the bays.  When I got back into the car all of my glove box items were laying in my seat and I asked my friend if he did that and he said no. Not sure why they needed in that glove box for anything.  They charged me $25 and it took total of 15 minutes.  I would not use them again.

    Jackson's Car Care Center
I had went to him in the past quite a bit then my last encounter with him he was talking very ugly to me because I had spoke to someone else about my window repair and he was screaming at me "I can't believe you went behind my back, "  it was so offensive.  He was very rude and I will not be going back there.
