    Darrell's Garage
My son has a Nissan Frontier. He spent hundreds of almost a thousand dollars trying to get his heater to blow hot. Previous owner put something in it which caused a sludge buildup in radiator, etc. In OKlahoma, he had radiator and several other things replaced. Happened again the next winter. Took it to Nissan, and they charged $300 to look at it and drain something. Still cold. Found Darrells on Angie's List. One call and he diagnosed on the phone. A couple of hours later and it worked. Very fair price!!! Two winter months later, and the heater is still working this time!!

I have an extended warranty, so most of it is covered. I had to pay for the battery, which is $295. They paid for the water pump and thermostat. My extended warranty paid for all that. I must had to pay $295. They are always higher, but the quality of work I get, I don't mind paying a little bit more. I am getting quality work, and I don't have to go back. That means a lot to me. I am in an wheel chair, and I have one leg. Its hard for me. I have to get a assistant to get the chair out. I can drive and everything, but I need someone to get my wheelchair out of the car. I don't have to go back. They are fair. Its a dealership. They handled it professionally. They did good work. I was satisfied. Great communication.

    DISCOUNT TIRE CO
I have been going to Discount Tires in Gastonia now for the last 8-9 years. Yes, maybe the tires are a little more expensive, but you pay for the after sales service and customer care, which to date has been fantastic. I have had nails and chunks of metal in tires from all the construction work in Charlotte and they have fixed and replaced tires quickly and without any hassle. Selecting your new tires online and setting up your own appointment is also very neat. I have no reason to go elsewhere at the moment.

They do good work. They're good about everything that they do, every time I've had to go there for any reason. Usually service takes maybe an hour or an hour and a half if I stay. When they were doing the work for the plastic parts in the manifold, it was a good seven or maybe eight hours, but I left. I stayed until I found out what was needed to be done and then I left. And when they got it completed, which was in the same day, I went back and got it. They make it very friendly and welcoming.

They sent in the "Big Dawg" from the service department to Hard Sell me. Said I needed new brake pads IMMEDIATELY and I needed new tires. Went on to explain to me they could do the brake job and that Ford sold tires. Wow! I would have never guessed that! Don't think women are stupid because we are NOT. I went to a Master Mechanic to have my brake pads checked and he said they looked like new. My tires are fine because I just had my car inspected. I will never go back there for an oil change.

    TOYOTA OF GASTONIA
They do a good job, it's just expensive. They are a little pushy on maintenance. They do a good job, it's just that they are a little pushy and they're expensive. The maintenance is fair. It's the bigger stuff that's more expensive. The quality of the service is excellent. There's a big emphasis on reminding me at different levels what maintenance work I need to have. From the cashier to the service person, there's a lot of pressure. That's a little bothersome, but they do a good job and we trust them that they'll do the right thing.

It went well. They do excellent work. They are good about getting you in pretty fast. I called them that morning and they were able to work me in. If there's ever a problem they make sure to call you. I've used them before and they do good work.

    SUMMEY TIRE & AUTO
I dropped my Tahoe off on a evening and they worked on it the next day. They replaced the radiator and changed the oil and checked fluid levels.
Barry also fixed a switch and got my rear ac unit to operate.
Summey's is always very courteous, honest, and reasonably priced. I also purchase my tires and have my brake work done at Summeys.
They are my regular mechanics and I highly recommend them!

.Always on time and professional with all the services done correctly.  A little pricy but you can expect that from a dealership.  Has worked with us in the past to find aftermarket parts at great savings based on their suggestions.  Have serviced Infiniti, Toyota as well as our Jeep.

    Meineke Car Care Ctr #730
They did great work. They are always courteous and always professional. I take my car to them for everything. Their manager, George, is very very professional, courteous and friendly. A to the employees. They behave professionally. They never mess up anything in your car and they always make sure that they got the mats down and everything for whenever they have to get in your car, test drive or anything like that. They usually have you in and out, depending on what you need, within less than an hour. In oil changes, usually within 20 minutes. I will absolutely use them again.
