    Went great.  Tammy discussed all the possible things that were causing my Lincoln Navigator to code, and it turned out to be the cheapest thing on the list.

    I had already taken it somewhere else, and he had given me the same list and concluded it was the the most expensive thing on the list -- about $400.

    People see you drive a Lincoln Navigator on the lot and dollar bills show up where their eyeballs are supposed to be.  Not so with Tammy.
    Good service, knowledgeable and fair price.

    I use them regularly. Everything is A, however, it is a very old shop, a typical mechanic shop where if you walk in there, you are going to get grease on you, even sitting on the furniture. It is very messy and cluttered but the staff is very professional and get your stuff in and out. They seem to diagnose everything correctly.

    My 93 Honda has 290,000 miles on it, so it was in need of some significant attention. I contacted a couple of places and was either turned away outright- stating they either don't handle head gasket replacement, or that they don't recommend spending that type of money on a '93. I contacted Cecils, and his quote was very reasonable, so I dropped the car off, hoping for the best. (Another shop had also sang the gloom/doom song- warning that my block was likely warped or worse, cracked (I was loosing a small amount of coolant and blowing O2 sensors), but I just had faith in my little Honda. It took them a few days to get to it- it was over the holiday weekend, but I got the call on Monday morning, and picked my car up that evening. Being a '93, it's far from showroom, but they took good care of it. It was obvious nobody had been smoking in it- very pleased about that. I've waited a couple weeks before entering this review- just to verify everything was okay. No check-engine light, no white smoke, no new leaks. Very pleased! In fact, I've set up a second appointment to have my EGR passages cleaned. (Not something I'm willing to undertake on my car- requires removal of some brass plugs on the manifold) I will report on that repair episode after its completion. In the meantime, I've also taken my fiance's car to Cecil's to replace a pair of bad motor mounts. I'll write about that in a separate review. I'm very pleased to have found a trustworthy mechanic. His shop isn't your typical air-conditioned-waiting-room experience, but I'll trade a manicured waiting room for an ACTUAL mechanic any day. He [is] busy, so be prepared to drop your car off and wait for a callback.

    It went great! They were very helpful, honest, and no run arounds. They told me exactly what they would take which was more than a fair price! The financing terms were excellent and I couldn't have been more pleased. I have told everyone this place is the place to buy a car. They told me when I bought my truck that if they didn't have it they could get it! If your looking for some friends in the car business, go to these guys!

    I had called AAA for a jump on my explorer. Joe shows up, gets my truck started and then admires my '86 f-150 sitting in the yard. I tell him it would not start that morning and I had not looked under the hood yet. He grabs his tools and we go over to look at it. He spends about a half hour and tells me the solenoid is bad. Now he was not there for that problem and was not paid for anything but the jump. He spent 1/2 hour of his own time just to help me out. He has been my mechanic ever since. It was a good investment too. I took that f-150 in and had them do everything from a 6"lift kit to new rims and tires, completely upgraded the mechanics and it runs like brand new. My family has 3 other cars too and they service all of them. If you are looking for a dependable mechanic who does good work and only the work needed this is the place. We have been very happy with them.

    Cecil or his employees have been able to perform many repairs on our various cars. If he says he can't do it he will always refer us to someone he knows can. I recommend his services highly. The B is some of the pricing. But I will go back to his shop.

    There were times before when going into the shop and asking for a less than 5 minute check of the fluids and tire pressure that there was no problem getting this done. The last time, though, I was told I would have to wait 20 minutes. I waited a few minutes, then told the woman at the desk that I would be back in about 15 minutes and I drove only just a little way away to a pharmacy to get something. I was back in LESS than 15 minutes and she RUDELY told me that I would now have to wait an hour to have the simple 5 minute service done or make an appointment to have it done. I was leaving in an hour to drive quite a distance and wanted to be sure that my car was ok to drive. I do this often before driving extreme distances. I went to another similar business and asked them to perform the same service, I was treated with curtesy and my car was immediately taken into a bay and checked, as I had requested and they didn't charge me anything. I WILL NOT use the Franklin, NC Meineke again.

    they were so honest. they looked over the entire car and did not charge me. they told me about the things that needed to be done and how much it would cost me. I have taken my car back since then and I am extremely happy with their service. they do not overcharge you. they are very friendly and helpful. I have recommended them to all my friends and family.

    It was a little more expensive than i expected. They charged me $80 for a lug nut and told me the last person that worked on it did something wrong. Well it was them and they would not acknowledge that.
