    Safeway Movers
    The team was team of Three Father - likely in his 60s, son likely in his 30s and cousin likely in his 60s. Within 1/2 an hour starting work they had to take a break. I mean why take a job when you are already tired and cant do heavy lifting. Then son had an attitude problem - "We will chill and do work at our own pace." This does not end there. After all work was done I tipped them an extra $60 and a dresser, paid them $20 dollar to top up the truck. They ended up keeping the gas money and returned the truck with dresser in it. I was charged an extra $65 to clean the truck and fill up gas. These guys are con jobs and a bunch of liars. They have no professionalism. I tried calling the guy, obviously he does not pick up after he pocketed the cash.

    We Hall Moving Service
    WOW!! These guys are awesome! They made the difficult experience of moving pretty painless. Jacob & Kurt were very professional & the cost was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. They also do lawn care which is a plus!

    Two Men and A Truck
    It was a good experience. It wasn't a whole move.  Just one truck with large furniture I couldn't move myself. Two people came to do the job and it took them about 2 hours to complete the job. They did a good job and nothing got broken.

    Greg was wonderful, very thorough and explained all the things he found wrong on the walkthrough when he was finished inspecting. He looked at the roof of the townhouse all the way down to the crawlspace underneath and everything between, inside and outside. He wrote up a great report that was very easy to go back through and pick the things we wanted to request repairs on. He even came out and did a re-inspection after the sellers made the repairs. He spent 2 hours on the reinspection with us and made sure we checked everything. We highly recommend him, and from hearing stories from others who had inspections done by someone else, he was definitely more thorough than some other inspectors. He also did the radon test for us.

    These guys are the worst movers ever!! Here is a list of the still unresolved issues from the move which was more than 2 months ago. 1. Scratched Floors 2. Broken Furniture 3. Broken BBQ grill 4. Unfulfilled promise to move our gym equipment 5. Broken Treadmill 6. Oil stained driveway 7. Damaged Mailbox 8. Incorrect scheduling (should have been a 2 day move) 9. Truck drove over garden (when they ran over the mailbox) Saying you care about quality service and customer satisfaction is very different than providing it. Perhaps Carey Movers should spend less time crafting emails that justify the company's reasons for not fulfilling their obligations and more time actually training your representatives and movers to provide quality service.

    SML - Simple Moving Labor
    Both the loading and unloading was carried out efficiently and the guys showed up on time and were pleasent. I recieved phone calls from SML all along the way making sure everything was going smoothly and according to plan. I am very pleased with SML and would def use them again.

    The Open Box
    The movers did a great job for us on a previous move, so we called to schedule a whole house move this time. A nice lady came to our house and promised to send us a quote for the job the next day. However, despite several phone calls and e-mails to request a written quote from her for more than a week, it was never received.

    Integrity Moving
    In a panic, we called Joe's Handy Helpers on Saturday to try to get some moving help for Monday. We had hugely underestimated the time and effort this move would require - there was a monstrous amount of stuff.  We had a huge amount of black plastic bags (about 52) full of clothes and bedding, a love seat, futon, 2 chests of drawers, lots of cardboard boxes - many with fragile items, not well packed, boxes and boxes of books, a desk, hand made cabinet, and many more types of things. It was overwhelming for us to even consider.
    Savannah answered the phone right away. She very pleasantly asked what kind of stuff we had, how far we were moving, and when were we hoping to get help. She explained the difference between the hourly rates for labor only, and labor if they rented a truck. We chose the truck-provided option with two men for labor, to arrive at the old house at 7:00 am.
    Monday at 7:15 am - no crew. Savannah answered on the 2nd ring, double checked and apologized for the misunderstanding at her end. The truck rental company opened at 8:00 am, not as she thought at 7:00. She reassured us that the guys & truck would be there, and that the move would be fine.
    Joe and his helper showed up, we walked them through, then they got started. Within the first five minutes we knew these guys were excellent. They were strong, polite, cheerful, fast, friendly, and efficient. Both men knew exactly what they were doing - in hauling, loading the truck, and packing. They did not complain, curse, or groan one time, even though they were obviously working very hard. In one hour, they had everything packed! It was amazing! They drove the truck carefully to the new house and parked perfectly to unload everything right to the front door. With the same efficiency and good humor, they unloaded the truck. The futon caused a bit of a difficulty to get it into the room where we needed it, but, Joe used creativity to maneuver it in and it fit perfectly. After about 1 1/2 hours, the unpacking was done. The last item was off the truck, and they were ready to go. The entire job took about  2 1/2 hours.
    We could not have had a better experience with Joe's Handy Helpers. We highly recommend this company for any job you might use them for. Five + stars, the best experience moving (generally horrible) either of us has ever had.  It is impossible to convey the peace and happiness Joe's handy helpers provided for us in the midst of a very stressful time. Really, hire them for yourself and you will be very happy!
