    Max Strickland Roofing
Max returned my call very quickly, even at the end of a business day. I had an issue that was causing a small leak. Max worked with me via phone to figure out how to fix the issue, and came to my house for the repair that same day, within the hour. They showed up, got right to work, and completed the repair very quickly and efficiently! Max really came through and gave me so much relief when no other company could come out even within the next few days. Thanks so much!

    Treadlite Roofing
Do not trust this roofing company. In 2012 we had our 35-year-old roof replaced (it had never once leaked but had some hail damage). We went with Treadlite despite the fact that their estimate was more than $1000 higher than the other estimates we got because Treadlite was a local company and had a lifetime warranty on their work. We paid extra to have new flashing/skylight kits put around 6 skylights in our sunroom. Within a couple years we noticed leaking around the skylights. Treadlite did not respond to our many, many calls so I posted a bad review of their company and finally David called. A crew came out and David asked if we paid for skylight kits since none had been installed. They did agree to fix the problem but when they came out, David saw (and told us) his crew had broken our glass skylights and they would have to be replaced. He agreed to replace thesewe assumed with the same kind of skylightsand to repair the considerable damage to our ceiling. Instead, David put plastic bubbles over the skylight holes and left it at that. (He did say that the original project manager, Lloyd, had been fired for issues just like this. Thats a real comfort to me and my leaking skylights). Since then, the skylights have leaked and leaked and leaked to the point where the wooden ceiling has started to rot out. After leaving many messages and even going in person to the shop, Andrew did finally call to see what could be done to make things right. He left a message but then did not call back when he said he would, did not respond to my calls or texts, and did not follow up on making it right. It is clear Treadlite does not intend to fix the problem they created. I had three other roofers come out to take a look at the problemone of them asked me if the new skylights were a DIY job! The price for getting new glass skylights with kits will be about $5500. We have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and plan to follow up with a lawsuit if we cannot make Treadlite honor their warranty and fix the massive leak/rot/roof/ceiling problem they create. All of this after paying nearly $10,000 for an asphalt roof. If you plan to actually live in your home and expect the company you pay to make good on its work and warranty, this is NOT the company for you. PROS: None CONS: Poor Workmanship Refusal to make good on service/product warranty

    Wholesale Installation
I'm going to try to be as objective as possible to help others avoid mistakes I made. Positives - cheaper than competitors. Appears responsive and reliable up until you provide a final payment. Negatives Allan Moore will not come through on promises after he's been paid. It rained on the 4th day of installation and the water leaked through the roof and damaged the ceiling in 10 different places. Allan promised to fix it, we paid him in full. Never showed up to fix it. I followed up many times, then I gave up. We are now looking to hire someone to fix the damage. Allan gave us Lifetime Labor Warranty, but I wonder what good it is, if hes not showing up to fix the mess he left to begin with! Allan left his trailer parked on our property for a month after the installation and only removed it after I got on his case about it. Allan also promised the certificate of material warranty will be provided at the time of the final payment never saw it. He made it sound like he was ready to give us warranty on the day of completion and has it in his truck, took the check and right away told me he will email me the warranty instead of handing it in. I followed up many times and every time he told me hes sending it right now, till this day never saw it. Allan appears to be a nice guy, he will respond to your messages, but offer numerous excuses like computer is fried, on a very important job; he can be in 3 different places within 30 minutes - at a conference, in the hospital, at the doctor's office. He'll also tell you he's doing it right now, or he mailed it 3 times. Well, if you mailed 3 letters, at least one of them would have gotten here, wouldn't it? If you hired Allan Moore to do the service, my advice to you would be not to provide a final payment until 1) all the damage to the premises has been fixed, 2) equipment has been removed from the property 2) you have all warranties in hand. Also, if you decide to work with Allan, specify in the contract a payment method (among other things) and if its a check, who it will be written to as he may ask you to write a final check in his name rather than a company name. Another important point to mention is you need stay on top of scheduling, a metal roof may take up to 6 days to complete, so if you see rain forecast within a week and you let them start the roof, there is a good chance you will end up with ceiling damage, like we did. I cant speak to the quality at this time, we still have to fix the ceiling. I am hoping that they did a good job on the roof and we won't have any issues with it. Ill update the review if needed.

    John Hyatt Contracting Services
The team on Hyatt Construction was amazing. My roof was being replaced due to the storm. I was concerned that with continued bad weather my home would never get finished. However, rain, sleet or bad weather they were up there finding the job. I will be using them to do all my repairs and home upgrades.

    Max Strickland Roofing
Excellent transaction. Mr. Strickland is a busy, plain spoken gentleman who showed up with his crew, participated in the job, and supervised everything from start to finish. I needed to repair my roof and remove an aging roof vent that was damaged by Hurricane Florence resulting in the roof being compromised. Mr. Strickland suggested several methods to repair and proceed, and after some discussion, we agreed on the method of repair and overall cost. The roof is now completely repaired - to the point that I couldn't even tell where the repairs were made. After this experience, I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for quality, supervised roofing work. This company has a high rating on Angie's List for a good reason.

    MND Construction
I don't think I have ever written a review online but I had to stop and address this one. From their office coordinator to their field workers was an extraordinarily professional experience. I felt they truly were there to help and not sell me something I didn't need. It became obvious from the beginning that everyone involved genuinely cared about the outcome. Ruben, the site manager, kept me involved and up to date at every stage of my project. I could go on and on about how smoothly it went but the true test is that I immediately scheduled work I needed done at my personal residence. I had never met anyone from MND previously but now I can honestly say I will only call MND Construction for any project and/or advice. ~Beth Adams

    Carolina Seamless Gutters
Stay Away! After multiple quotes from various companies, we decided to go with Carolina Seamless Gutters. Big mistake. Trust the other reviews that say they contract out the work to other companies! In this case, it was a company that had been to our property to give us a quote and we decided NOT to go with them in the first place, yet here they were to do the work. We paid half up front with Howard Jr. and then the rest was due upon completion, the gentleman in charge of the other company expected me to pay him cash. I had to call Carolina Seamless Gutters to advise that I would not being paying cash, nor would I be paying the other company directly. Everyone involved seemed highly annoyed and rude, but our contract was with Carolina Seamless Gutters, not the other company. To top it all off, there are various scratches on the gutters. One is 20" long. After leaving several messages for Carolina Seamless Gutters, we just called the contracted company directly to let them know (literally 2 hours after they left), and their answer was they'll have to use some touch up paint on it. It's been several weeks since installation. No touch up paint. No returned calls. No follow-up at all to the issue. So after spending more money to go with Carolina Seamless Gutters, we are now left with scratched gutters on our new home and no effort from them to rectify the situation. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere!

    Dream Homes Renovations
James Dandridge replaced my front porch/deck two years ago, so I knew I could trust him for doing a good job and for his assessment that the southern exposure of my roof needed replacing. He and his crew did a good job, especially when it came to matching the color of the roof tiles on the northern side of my house.

    Max Strickland Roofing
Max called me back immediately and kept me updated with the work with texts and pictures. The job was completed within 2 days and suddenly i had no idea why it had been such a big deal. He was like a very competent, professional, helpful big brother! I recommend him highly to anyone in need of his services.
