    Bramble Home Improvements Inc.
Chris and his team are top notch! They are reliable, dependable, professional and extremely skilled at what they do. Typically, you get what you pay for in this business but I find consistently that his prices are extremely reasonable without sacrificing quality. I have used Bramble Home Improvements for a few years now and the work always exceeds my expectations. As a property manager I greatly depend on the contractors that I use and Bramble Home Improvements never disappoints. They are one of, if not the very best in the area. They do not do anything half way nor do they do "patch jobs". When you use Chris and his team you are getting solid quality work that is guaranteed to be right.

Terrible. I had a small leak at the skylight and the flashing. After Chris came and "sealed" everything, it leaked worse than before. Now I have a HUGE spot in my bedroom ceiling where it leaked by the flashing, and my kids playroom (where the skylights are) is a TOTALLY disaster!!! He reimbursed me the money for doing the job, but will not respond to my messages about his insurance fixing my roof and ceiling, or him doing it. BAD BUSINESS!

    G & C Contracting
I very much wanted to be able to write a good review but can not.  The company gave a great estimate, is rated highly on Angie's List, was very punctual, and seemed very professional.  Now that I have finished the job they should have, here are a few of the issues:
    1.  They popped off aluminum wrap from the old French Door and didn't bother replacing it (we mentioned it during the estimate and were told it wouldn't be an issue re-using it).  We have had numerous window and door replacements in the past and the workers have ALWAYS been able to replace the wrap.  Not only did they not replace the old wrap, they left the nails that held it on sticking out of the wood and simply painted over them.  They also said they would put us in touch with their wrap guy to get it replaced.  I only assume they wouldn't pay for it but they never bothered to do it anyway so we'll never know.  Bottom line, now we have ONE door that isn't trimmed out like EVERY other door and window on the house.
    2.  The front porch railings.  During the estimate, they indicated they would have to put a half height mid-post in as our porch is wide and they don't make a vinyl railing that would span the distance.  No problem...except that when installed, the post was anchored so poorly that it truly created a safety hazard.  Our porch is approx. ten feet up at the highest point and the mid joint was so week that a child leaning against it would cause it to fail.  I would expect a professional to KNOW this in advance and tell me about it.  The issue would have made the house un-insurable. That ANY contractor would find this acceptable is astonishing.  The "fix" was to add full posts at an additional cost of $400.00.  So, it's kinda' like this:  Give estimate, create safety hazard, HOPE homeowner accepts it, if not then CHARGE to fix safety hazard.  Unsatisfactory.  There are MANY additional issues with the front porch work including poor trim work, poor finishing work, etc. but the safety issue is appalling.
I'm not sure at what point they decided to simply "cut losses" on my home and just do shoddy work as quickly as possible in order to save a few bucks knowing full well we would NEVER call them again but it appears that is precisely what happened.  They did ask us to look at the work and we simply said "fine" just to get them out of here.  If they are willing to accept a safety hazard, we are NOT willing to let them continue working on our home.
Good luck with this company.  I hope you have a better experience should you decide to use them.

    Christopher Wike

Mr. Wike came over at the scheduled appointment time. He was very professional and courteous. He seemed to be knowledgeable about the work I needed done. He went over all the parts of the house that would need repair. He said he would write up and estimate and get back to me.

I contacted Mr. Wike twice after he visited our home, left messages both times (I also believe I sent him a text message too), and I never heard back from him again. Never completed an estimate or returned any of my calls.

From the initial visit to the payment, all went promptly and smoothly.  The price was reasonable. The service was professional.  The work was much better than we expected considering we have such an old house.  Our emails were responded to promptly.  The guys who came to work were very pleasant and respectful.  No complaints.  We will call them again.

I have worked with Chris in the past on other projects with my rentals, he has always been quick and knocked out any issue I could not get to with no problem at all. They always make sure I am 100% happy with anything that they do. it is great to know that no matter what I need I can always give them a call and they will be able to take care of it right the first time.

I felt the job went well. I hired them because they were the only company that was going to scrape as well as power-wash the house before painting.  The painters did a super job, as my house was way overdue for a paint job and some needed repairs. All the workers were polite and showed up on time and did a great clean-up job as well. I wish the caulk job was done a little better in the tub. Mr. Sawyer called to check on things a few days after the job was done, and offered to come out anytime to fix any problems. I feel comfortable doing that if needed.

    Ketchum Home Improvement
We had met John at the Fayetteville Home Show when he worked for a different company ( NOT Angie's listed) We liked the product but not the company.  When John struck out on his own with Ketchum Home Improvement, we struck a deal with him to install a product he recommended. He is thoroughly knowledgeable about the product we chose, Alside Mezzo Series 2000 Climatrol Elite windows with custom trim that matched our siding.
The windows were delivered and John started installation the next day. After a rain delay, they returned the next day and completed the installation. The trim was installed, and the windows look great and function as promised. The work site was cleaned up of debris and the job completed in a timely manner.
No negative issues, all positive. I'm happy to recommend Ketchum Home Improvement for any window installation job. The price was reasonable, the work was done quickly and cleanly in a highly competent manner. We'll use John for other home improvement projects (and if you have read any of our other reviews, well, we are particular).

A+ job! Very fair price. Completed in 1 day. I had to call him back about a problem with my dormers and even though this was not something he was responsible for, he helped me fix it. I can't say enough good things about contractor that goes the extra mile for their customers. I highly recommend Jeff and his crew
