    Karoline On The Spot
    I don't normally post negative reviews, but in this case I feel it necessary to do so in order to make others aware of what could also happen to them. Karoline On The Spot (Karoline Keenan) abruptly quit on me after 2 years of cleaning my 2 vacation rental condos and 3 months of cleaning my newly and completely remodeled personal residence. Karoline doesn't keep many of her employees for very long and there is always some type of drama going on that I ended up having to listen to. On the positive side, what they cleaned they did clean well....BUT they did not pay attention to the details....such as beds not being properly made (which made my guests wonder if the linens were actually clean), furniture left out of place, blankets balled up and thrown in the closets, throw rugs thrown in a pile and left in a corner or in a pile in the middle of the floor, trash cans left in the middle of the room, dirty foot prints left on flooring, shells left in sliding door tracks, sand left on the washer and counter tops, the sleeper sofa not properly closed and the cushions put on it backwards with the bed frame sticking up....and the list goes on....all of which made my guests wonder if the place had been cleaned at all. A different crew would show up at my personal residence every week after I had been promised the same crew each week. This was very important to me because my elderly mother who has dementia lives with me and having new people in our home is very disturbing for her and upsets her terribly. There was only one girl that showed up almost every time (out of a crew of 4-6 and sometimes 7-8). After over two months of them coming every week that girl came to me to tell me that every time the grout was cleaned in my bathrooms that it became tacky. I asked her what in the world were they cleaning it with and she told me BLEACH! I asked WHY I was not told sooner and she said "so and so" was supposed to have told me about it. ("So and So" was no longer employed by them by this time) I told her I had never been told about it becoming tacky.....that I thought that the grout was defective since it was discoloring and coming out of the joints and that I had my tile guy come and repair it a couple of months ago....and that I was wondering why it was coming out again in even more areas. I now knew the reason the grout was coming out of the joints was because Karoline's cleaning crew had been spraying bleach straight onto my tile and grout in my showers and letting it sit there for 10 MINUTES before scrubbing and rinsing it off. It seems like after the first time the grout became tacky that they would have said something to me and realized the cleaner they were using was making the grout tacky, causing it to come out of the joints and discoloring it too. I told them (and the owner, Karoline) that I wanted them to use only the cleaners that I provided for them from that point on. I also told them to use only my vacuum cleaner and not to bring theirs into my home....the very next week they showed up with their own vacuum and started using it and I had to stop them twice and tell them to take it out of my home....not once but twice. On Friday, July 13, 2018 they showed up an hour early at my home to clean. There were 8 people lined up coming into my home!!!! Only 2 of them had ever been there before. They were bringing buckets in and their own cleaning solutions and one was carrying a vacuum cleaner....I was not happy about any of it. I told the crew leader I did not want them to clean that day and that I could no longer have them cleaning my personal residence. I told her it was just too stressful on me and my mother to have that many people in our home and always having new people showing up each week....I told her that I couldn't trust that things would be done the way I wanted them done and that I was afraid that something else would get ruined like my grout in my showers had been ruined. I told her I did not have time to continually have to go behind everything they were doing and feel like I had to watch their every move in my home. I also told her that it was not their fault that it was justtoo stressful for me and my mother....and that I could not change our situation and I had to do what was best for my mother and myself. The crew leader asked if I would like for them to continue to clean my vacation rental properties and I said " personal home has nothing to do with my rental's a whole different situation with my personal home and my mother's condition". She asked if I wanted Karoline to call me later that afternoon to discuss it and I said "yes, please". It was about 15 minutes later that I received this exact text message from Karoline: "I'm sorry you were not happy with crew today I'm trying to get crew set for your house. But since you don't trust crew in your house I can't do your rentals neither. I will have your keys and linens drop off tomorrow.!" Thank you Karoline I immediately tried to call her to clear up whatever miscommunication that had occurred but she would not answer her phone. I texted her and she would not reply. I emailed her explaining what I had said to the crew leader and she still did not reply. I was in a panic because I had 2 departure cleans scheduled with Karoline for my vacation rentals that Sunday (in less than 45 hours) and I had new guests arriving that Sunday for both rentals. Karoline knew this when she abruptly quit on me on Friday. I had less than 45 hours before I needed those 2 properties cleaned so I immediately started looking for a replacement cleaning service and thankfully found one within 20 minutes. I was extremely lucky! It could have turned out to be a terrible situation! In hindsight, I realize that Karoline did me a favor by quitting. I replaced Karoline with a service that is highly professional, 100% responsive, detail oriented, consistent, dependable and just so much better in every aspect than Karoline On The Spot. I no longer have to listen to all of the drama and excuses about this or that. I would never, in good conscience, be able to recommend Karoline's services to anyone after this experience. If she would drop me like a hot potato and leave me in a bind like that then she'll do it to someone else too. Do yourself a favor and find a more professional, consistent and dependable cleaning service. That's what I did. I have submitted photos showing some of the things mentioned in my review.

    Maria and her crew clean my second home approximately every 3 months.  They do an excellent job.  They are efficient and professional.  They start with the fans and light fixtures and clean everything down to the baseboards.  I have never had anyone clean as well as they do.  I cannot recommend them highly enough.

    This is my second home and we only have it cleaned about every 3 months. I'm pretty picky and have never been disappointed by Miss Maria and her crew. There are usually 3 of them and they are here about 2 and a half hours. They clean lights, fans, mirrors, blinds, window sills, baseboards, and all the usual stuff. They cleaned things I don't even think of including the bottom of the chair legs. They are friendly, professional, and efficient. I highly recommend them.

    It was same day service, they were punctual and polite. Having never had a home with carpet so therefore never having used a carpet cleaning service, I thought they would move the furniture, but they went around everything on the floor. It was a small job and all the stains were gone! Some did return the next day, but not sure why. Again, my lack of carpet experience.

    They were punctual, professional, clean and did an absolutely wonderful job. Worked around my schedule, showed up on time, reasonably priced and great to work with. They were very organized and clean and kept my house very clean while they did the work; left no trace when they were done, other than two very clean air conditioning units and ducts!!  I would use them again, they could not have done a better job.

    I have done this backwards but the services performed are dusting, mopping, "deep cleaning" under beds for example by taking them apart and vacuuming under mattresses etc.  Cleaning Bathrooms, washing clothes and sheets and making beds "correctly"- not everyone knows  how to do this, Debbie does. Cleaning refrigerators, Grocery Shopping, and on occasion Pet Sitting and various other and sundry,  mostly HouseCleaning Chores. She will occasionally run errands and may be adding errand running and grocery shopping to her services on an "as needed" basis weekly.  I think she did Pet Sitting just for me, but may be open to having one of her family members who is totally awesome with animals and has worked at a vet's office help her to do this.  I hope this  answers your questions. I gave Debbie a B on responsiveness only because no human is perfect and we all have things that we can work on.  She is responsive, however she is very busy and sometimes it takes some time for her to get back to you-which is understandable. A B and all A's of a report card is just about Perfection, which would describe Debbie and her company.

    Bob (the owner) called me to scedule an appointment promptly after I left him a message. He was very friendly and professional. He asked what my needs were and what my approximate room dimesions were so that he could give me an acurate quote on carpet cleaning. He also inquired about the type of furniture he would be cleaning. We set an appointment day and time. He showed up on time and did a great job! He worked dilligently on a few "problem" areas both on my carpet and upholstery as I have several pets. Very knowledgable and professional. I would definately use Kinnarney Carpet Care again! Call early because he gets booked quickly! His price was what he quoted to me over the phone and I felt that it was reasonable.
