    Regional Waterproofing Inc
Please be advised that this company is very friendly but will require a lot of your time and advocate for services that you do not want. We requested a quote and installation of a crawl space door system. A friendly rep spent 4 hours inspecting and discussing a range of solutions. When we requested installation of just the door system, they refused the service without additional thousands of dollars.

    Healthy Home Restoration
This company was very professional and did excellent work. Dennis came and took a look at my crawlspace and gave me his recommendations to take care of the water issue that was occurring in my crawlspace. Dennis took the time to explain everything that needed to be done. He gave me tips on things to do to help eliminate the standing water on the walkway and yard. Dennis and Ruth and their whole staff were wonderful. Dennis came out after job was completed and inspected to make sure everything was okay. I was very satisfied and would definitely use them again.

    Raleigh Waterproofing Inc
I'd highly recommend Raleigh Waterproofing! Work was done as scheduled, despite "oppressive" heat. My ?s were answered by their EXTREMELY pleasant "rep", Jim Bradshaw. Not sure how their pricing is vs. other companies, but I'm a strong believer in "you get what you pay for"!

    The Mold Solutions Group
About a year ago we hired Mold Solutions Group to remedy several issues in our crawl space: excessive humidity, mold, some insulation issues, and a very unpleasant odor during summer that infiltrated our living area. Having interviewed three reputable firms, we settled on MSG due to the thoroughness of their initial inspection, their convincing explanation of the problems and proposed solutions, and a price that was competitive. I have waited to comment on the quality of the job Mold Solutions did so that I could evaluate the effectiveness of their work after several months experience. Here is what MSG did to handle the problems. They replaced the existing vapor barrier, which they identified as the source of the odor, and ran the new barrier several inches up the exterior walls and the support columns. They also remediated mold growth on the wood surfaces, replaced 225 of fiberglass insulation, sealed the outside vents into the space as well as any entry points from the crawl space into the living area, and installed a centrally-located commercial dehumidifier. The results have been outstanding. Through last summer, this past rainy spring, and the heat and humidity of the current summer, the crawl space has remained dry, well-dehumidified, and (thankfully!) free of odor or signs of mold growth. Rich Lisowskys crew was great to work with and gave us good service. Upon request, a supervisor made a follow-up visit several months after installation to confirm that the modifications and installations were performing as they ought to be. After a thorough examination of the space, with us there to observe his evaluation, he confirmed that the old problems were well under control, and we heartily agreed with the assessment. Obviously, we have been very impressed with the results of our experience with Mold Solutions Group. They do high quality work, and we have enjoyed interacting with owner Rich Lisowsky and his staff. Richs methods have provided a solution to our mold and humidity issues, and we are delighted to give MSG our strong endorsement and recommend the company to others!

    Tar Heel Basement Systems
Tar heel provided us with estimates on two properties (one of which we had planed to go ahead with) ultimately we were not able to proceed due to a scheduling conflict (on our part). Tar heel basement was supper accommodating. Things that stand about this company are their knowledge of the jobs, and the professionalism of their office staff. Thank you. Very Easy to work with.

    Crawlspace Doctor
Brad and his crew are excellent. I found him through neighborhood recommendations, and he still exceeded my expectations. If I bought another house in Durham, I'd hire him again to encapsulate the crawl space in it, no question. I spent many hours researching crawlspace products, potential issues, etc ahead of time, and I was pretty familiar with the options available, what they cost, what you can expect from them, etc. I had a large crawl space, over 2000 sq ft, and his crew got it done in about 3 days. Total scope of work was to install vapor barrier, foam insulation on walls, tap into HVAC line to provide conditioned air in the crawl space, install sump pit and drain, and install some vented pipe to give options for ventilating down the road, if needed. They also foamed up gaps and installed wire to help prop the insulation against the floor. No more musty smell in the house at all, and the crawl space is actually a comfortable place to be in now, and I'm looking forward to storing extra household stuff in the crawl instead of using the attic or guest bedroom closets. Radon was never an issue at this house, but I didn't know whether the vapor barrier and sealed crawl space might cause it to become an issue. However, radon levels have actually been holding around 0.7 in the home for a few weeks since install, and it had been around 1.2 in the house before the encapsulation, with the crawl space vents open. So the vapor barrier is doing its job really well - no odors, moisture, or radon getting through, and no issues with having it all sealed up.

East Coast Crawl Space Solutions LLC
Great work, done quickly, and professionally. My crawl space has had problems for years and Im glad we chose East Coast Crawl Space Solutions to remediate it. We got many quotes and East Coast Crawl Space were the most professional and best priced. Other companies showed up with no uniform or anything, and very unprofessional. Everything was top notch and he owner was even around some of the time. Very satisfied and happy. Highly Recommended

    Healthy Home Restoration
HHR and Dennis did a very professional job. This was a large multi-task job in excess of $35k. His site manager, William, was a real pro and this mattered since the job at my house was a large one that took four weeks. This included re-waterproofing the foundation and side of the house requiring to dig down to the foundation footing, take out all drainage material, add waterproofing, drainage board, foundation drains and filter paper/57 rock along with piping to the outside low points. Next was re-grading the crawlspace, adding new pillars for support, reconstruction of pillars, new enclosed crawlspace, new cut-out crawlspace door, re-mortar blue slate patio, and also some complicated garden drainage requiring pipe, drains, rock etc. I received a daily e-mail with an overview of the days work as well as what to expect the next day or two. Dennis was on-site almost every day checking on the work and helping solve the numerous discovery curve balls we encountered. I also had a structural engineer involved and the two of them communicated regularly. The engineer said he had rarely seems such good quality. At the end of each day, the team cleaned up around the house and then did a larger cleanup at the end. The whole experience, which could have been tedious and frustrating, was actually very easy to get through. Many thanks to HHR and the great team that fixed my house

Falcone Crawl Space & Structural Repair
We really like the personal and professional touch of Falcone Crawlspace. Everyone that came to our house was super nice and knowledgable about their task. Fred was very laid back and personable which is our style. He did a thorough job working with us initially on our project needs and itemizing an estimate of the costs so we knew up front what the scope of the project would look like. As extras were uncovered during the work (as often times 80 year old houses will do), solutions and costs to be incurred were given up front so that we could discuss and then decide how to proceed. Falcone was prompt on their start date and worked diligently on all aspects of our project until complete. Mitch and Troy did the majority of the work on our house (and a little from Tommy too) which entailed weekly travel from Charlotte & stay in Durham. We really appreciated their dedication to this job. They did an awesome job each day with their daily tasks, end-of-day cleanup, and efforts to accommodate my husband, dog, and I who lived at the house during repairs/renovation. We often returned home long before their work day ended and they were amazing at accommodating us while they worked. Mitch and Troy were knowledgable in their craft, polite, and made huge efforts to do all the little things that keep clients happy...having major repairs/renovations on a house you are also living/having to go to work in for an extended period of time isn't always easy. We would definitely use Falcone again for our Crawlspace and Structural needs. I highly recommend to anyone needing work in these areas to give them a call!
