    Sent email through Angie's List to schedule appointment...was really impressed at the prompt response I received to Schedule it for the next afternoon. It was to be done between 1-4 well I called to give them my address and the person said Paul was tied up and he was unaware of the appointment and there was no way he could get to me today..this is after I waited all day to have service. He did offer to come tomorrow but again not until the afternoon and after the mix up today I just could not afford to wait around and waste another day waiting.
    Plus the fact that they didn't even call to say they couldn't get to me after making me wait all day was the kicker to this. I could understand the mix up but at least have the courtesy to call and say they couldn't make it....
    Very.....Very disappointed.

    Our garage door had been deteriorating but it still worked until finally the bottom frame broke in half and we could not raise or lower the door.  We contacted several garage door companies. We had two other responses but Doors by Nalley was the only company that could come the next day. They came, examined the door and explained  it would have to be replaced. We had suspected that would be the case because it looked like if we just tried to lower it, it would completely fall apart. They ordered a new door and promised to have it the next week. Meanwhile, they patched up our door with metal braces which allowed us to raise and lower the door until the new one was installed. The next week we called, they had received the door, made an appointment to install it, showed up on time, installed the door, explained to us how to lubricate it and left us happy, enjoying our brand new garage door. We have nothing but praise for the professionalism and friendliness of all those we came in contact during this process and we highly recommend this company.

    Tech arrived on time, listened to my explanation of the issue.  We then demonstrated the problem, making sure the sensors were free of obstructions. After performing some tests, checking the connections, and wiring, the tech said the sensor had probably gone bad.  The system was 13 years old.  He replaced the sensor, did some minor adjustments, and lubricated the chain.  He said that overall, the door and mechanicals were in very good shape; did not try and up-sell me on something.  I always appreciate that.

    They did a phenomenal job.  Both working with them and their professional handling was phenomenal.  They were very responsive and courteous.  They cleaned up so well you would never know they were even here.  Their pricing was very good compared to others as well.  I would highly recommend them use them again in the future.

    I had called on Tuesday October 7 to schedule an appointment for an estimate on a new door and to tune up another door. On Thursday the 9th one of their employees came for the estimate . He was over one hour late, but did call to let me know he was running late even though I was the first AM appointment . I explained to him that I wanted one door replaced and another door tuned up. We had normal small talk during his time giving the estimate , he was new to the state and we were talking about different sports teams etc.. After he came back to the garage with his estimate he said he could install the new door later the SAME day and do the repairs on the other door. I told him I was getting another estimate and would let him know if they got the job on the following day. That's when it became "awkward". He was pushing to start the job that day. I told him for the second time,I would contact him the next day to see if they got the job . At that point he became obviously angry. He then said " you owe me $65". I asked him for what ? He responded that if you don't start the work there is a service charge. After the two of us went back and forth I then called the owner, Mark Brummond. I explained I wanted a new door and to repair another . He then said there should be no charge for a new door estimate . I told him of his salespersons pushy approach . That's when he came UNGLUED !! He started yelling and using language completely inappropriate . I still tried to talk calmly to him which I think angered him more that I wouldn't stoop to his level. After I had heard enough I hung up my phone. He called back and left a spicy message on my machine. I was called a coward among other names. His rant included " I'm sick of this Angie's List crap, write whatever review you would like , I don't give a s--t ! " Needless to say , I am writing this review at his request. Please pay attention to others having similar experiences . FYI , his price was high for the exact same door I'm having installed next week .

    Jeremy was great.  One of our garage doors had slipped off the track, so we hired Open Up Garage Door to fix the door and install quiet rollers.  While on site, Jeremy also evaluated our 2nd garage door, and took measures to better secure it as well.  He was prompt, courteous, and professional, and even installed an additional set of quiet rollers on the 2nd garage for free.  Would definitely use again!

    The technician arrived on time and with all of the materials needed.  Our springs were 13 years old and likely had been living on borrowed time.  Since one broke, it was only a matter of time before the other went.  He suggested we consider replacing both springs.  We were able to swap the single spring deal for their double spring deal, which was great.  The repair was handled quickly by the technician.  These folks were excellent, efficient and so very pleasant to work with.  We highly recommend them and appreciate their great customer service.

    They did exactly what they thought I needed and no more. When they installed the new springs, they didn't make sure it would open far enough to get my vehicle in here. I called them and explained I needed the garage door adjusted. They sent someone out, but it was three days late. When the service tech came out he said he couldn't help me unless I paid for an additional service.  The technician was very nice though and apologetic and told me where I could get the door fixed.
