  Jacob and his crew do great work. He has done several jobs (install pine needles, mulch, aeration, seeding, etc.) for me over the past three years and has always done quality work. I highly recommend this company.

  They usually come out once a week. They did not show up last week. At least 3 people come out. It's not cheap. Their work is pretty good when they show up. We have been using them for about 10 years.

  Have just over an acre and a half that was overgrown. Service providers took over a week to call (which contributed to the lawn being overgrown). They didn't really provide a a good estimated time of arrival. Upon arriving, they tried to tell me the yard was 3 acres. They brought a couple of push mowers and a grass trimmer (knowing the size of the yard). Needless to say, the work was sub-par. I had to instruct them to re-do certain sections. They charged an extra $100 for the yard being overgrown, which was ok. But, they stole food off the counter when I invited them in to offer water and get the additional payment (we have security cameras). Will not hire again.

  The Grass IS Greener Lawn Care and Landscaping

  Started out ok but then the owner began downsizing personnel and services. Originally GIG was maintaining my trees and plants as well as the lawn, basically all my landscaping to include maintaining the irrigation system. Later the service was reduced to just mowing the lawn and blowing the leaves. I finally canceled the service and the owner ended up selling the business to another "landscaping" company.

  Still awaiting a settlement plan from Metro's attorney (since April, 2016), with neutral party oversight, to ensure the project is completed as promised. In addition company has a history of settling with customers by remedying complaints after asking clients to sign "confidentiality agreements" and as a result there are limited instances of complaints against this company and BUYER BEWARE Items requested include: 1) Provide all project permits 2) Proper Install fire pit per manufacturer 3) Repair slope of back yard to 2% and ensure proper drainage 4) Repair all pavers lifting issues and ensure proper drainage 5) Repair patio deck underdecking to alleviate all leaking 6) Repair existing irrigation to ensure adequate for front and back areas 7) Repair loose aluminum fencing along retaining wall and vinyl fence damage 8) Address drainage on North side of home and erosion 9) Written Warranty Guarantee

  Russell  was great from the very beginning.  He responded promptly to my email request and set up a time to come look at the trees.  He even called on his way to come by.  Russell responded with a quote in 24 hours.  I picked Russell to do the job because he was courteous and honest and fair.  Russell was even able to fit me in to a small opening in his schedule the same week.  He called the morning of the appointment to give me a time frame of his arrival.  Russell and his team showed up and all greeted me with smiling faces.  They were all so nice to have around!  The job was done in about an hour and they cleaned up all debris to take off site.  Russell was even nice enough to help me out with a few other things in the yard that I didn't have the tools to do myself (a chainsaw!).  I was also looking for a company to do my regular yard work and I knew before they were done that I would be giving the job to Russell.  I have other yard work that needs to be done in the future and it will all go to Huntersville Rental & Landscaping.  I am very happy with their work!

  John was very reliable and completed services in a highly professional manner.  Pricing was very competitive and I knew I could count on him to give me his professional recommendations when he knew my level of comfort with pricing and need for quality.  He showed up when I needed him and he communicated his schedule availability.  I knew he put in extra hours when I needed him sooner than he had time.  I will always go to him for any and all needs.

  Only had two lawn cuttings per the maintenance package to date, but so far they did a great job and have exceeded my expectations.  I will report back in a couple months to evaluate overall level of service.  I'm pretty meticulous with the yard and these guys did a better job than I did for sure.  If they follow through per the contract, I'd highly recommend them.

  They will attempt to lock you into some ridiculous long term contract, and then no one will ever call back from the company if you need to contract them.  Worst customer service. I have been trying to reach them for over a week, to cancel my contract, and no one will call me back.

  We met Russell as he was working on a project for our neighbor. We were in the process of getting estimates to have the large stones in our walkway reset along with cutting back the bushes.  We asked him to send us an estimate and received it a couple of days later in our email while we were out of town.  The price was significantly lower than a previous estimate we received from another landscaping company. The other company also estimated the job would take one and a half days and that they were about a month out.  Based on the price and the work he did for our neighbors, we gave him the go ahead to do the work.  We ask him when he could start and he said "how about now?".  We thought he was joking until we received pictures that afternoon and the work was complete.   He had a break in his schedule and fit us in.  It didn't even come close to taking a day and half.  It looked great!  We intend on using him for the next phase our landscaping.
