DESCRIPTION OF WORK
We had 10 joists that were rotting and needed to be repaired, as well as some stabilization of mushy spots in the plywood sub-floor. The reason that the joists had problems to begin with was our old leaky air ducts were putting moisture into the crawl space. None of the other companies that came out to offer estimates took the time to investigate the source of the problem and offer suggestions on how to prevent future damage. Advanced figured it out on their estimate visit and gave us advice about how to prevent damage to the new repairs.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
We needed to have structural work done on an old house we were purchasing, and time was of the essence (with regard to closing). Our structural engineer recommended Advanced Structural Repair as a company that "does exceptionally good foundation/crawlspace/structural repairs." The list of repairs needed were: replacement of a fire-damaged joist in the basement, replacement of an inadequately supported frame-out in the basement, floor framing, masonry (pilasters and piers).
