He worked on one truck for three hours and found out he missed something and had to go back and take care of it again: we got a bill for 15 dollars as he took the blame for the mistake and didn't think it was fair to charge for it. He refuses to do any work unless he clears it with the customer first. It's always top rate. He typically refers you to others for tires and body work, but they are people that he trusts. In terms of price, I've had him charge a lot less than anybody else. He is the only mechanic that I will recommend.

    Mobile Tech
We've been taking our vehicles to Dave for over a year and this was our most recent experience with Mobile Tech. We purchased a used car that had been sitting for awhile before the owner sold it to us. I knew it needed a lot of 'catch up' maintence done and I had the funds to get caught up. Ryan - the office guy - had us in the following week. They looked the car over, gave me a complete rundown on what needed to be done, what could wait, and a worst case estimate. They originally told me it would be a couple of days and it was a lot of work so I wasn't surprised. I was surprised when Ryan called the next afternoon and my car was ready! As with our earlier experiences, the estimate was actually a little higher than the actual bill. My car is running great. I tell everyone I know about Dave and Mobile Tech. He's honest, fast and dependable.

ABRA Auto Body & Glass - Castle Hayne
My car was hit by a deer from the passenger side and I was referred to Abra by my mechanic. When my wife got home with the vehicle we noticed that the driver side quarter panel that was fine when we dropped it off was dented in from the top in several places as if somebody was leaning on it with all of their body weight for support while it was being worked on or maybe they slammed the prop into the fender several times when closing the hood. We also noticed that the headlights were aimed straight down, not ahead of the car, and it was unsafe to drive at night. We knew they had a lifetime guarantee so we took it back and asked them what happened to the fender but they did not have a clue. The fender had just been replaced 9 months previous to that from when another deer ran into the driver side but it was damaged on the passenger side by the second deer incident. We really couldn't do anything since the denied everything but they agreed to re-aim the headlights for us. When we got it back the same day they said it was fixed, so I drove it the same night and the headlights were in the exact same spot on my garage door as they were the day before when parked up close so I knew they didn't do a thing. Turns out when I popped the hood, the left and right headlight adjustments were broken under the hood where you wouldn't see it until you popped the hood. One side was missing the cover to the level bubble and the other side had a plastic piece with a spring on it sticking out 6" further than normal where it wouldn't stay pushed in. I took it back for the third time and showed them where it was broken and luckily they didn't deny that and fixed the broken parts and were supposed to re-aim the headlights for the second time. Needless to say, I got home and checked the beams with my garage door again and what do ya know, they were still in the same unsafe spot that was not illuminating the road ahead at all. I gave up on them and aimed the headlights myself to avoid anything else getting broken and low and behold, this spring, I tried to use my air conditioner and it was not cold at all. I took it to the same mechanic to get more freon only to find out that the tube connector that you hook up to add the freon to had been broken off a while ago and glued back on. The part is located near the radiator and near the parts to the headlight adjusters that were broken by Abra 7 months ago. Abra was the only shop that worked on it and I have not contacted them again as I am sure they will deny it nor will I ever do business with them again since it has been THE WORST AUTO BODY EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. Use Abra auto body at your own risk and take pictures before and after or you will most likely end up paying for their damages to your vehicle yourself.
