  • We were very pleased with our move and long term storage. The movers did a nice job in making sure our furniture was wrapped, so it was protected during storage. We received everything in the same condition. My only issue would be that they were a little late in arriving to deliver our furniture. Once they arrived, they work quickly and efficiently to get the job done.

  • The team I worked with (Brad, Rob, and Chad) was fantastic from start to finish. This was a complicated move and my family had little time to plan and pack ourselves. I was looking for someone to come and move and partial pack my condo as well as contents of a storage unit, then put everything into storage, until we could move into our new home a month later. Brad was very helpful in assessing the move and helping me think through move dates and logistics. He was also very reassuring that his team could handle the move from coordinating with our condo requirements and storage, as well as delivering on dates we agreed upon. I trusted him implicitly from the start and was not disappointed. The moving team was courteous, respectful and careful. They didn't hustle but took the time they needed to do the job WELL! The packing of my kitchen was meticulous. Really! I was very impressed when unpacking a month later. Not a single item was damaged or broken through the entire move. They also seemed respectful of my overall home, cleaning after themselves and generally being thoughtful. Finally, they were dead on with their estimate and the final cost. No surprises which I appreciated. They were not the cheapest estimate that I was confident that they would deliver and they did. I was so impressed by how well it went that I have recommended Truckin to a friend making a similar move. Moving sucks - these guys make it as easy as you can hope for.

  • Criminal... is the only word that comes to mind here. I will spare you the long read and outline my experience at this facility.  It is a shame because the staff at the site are great.  
    1. Came in July 2015 needing a 10x10 climate controlled unit for one year while our house is being built.
    2. No 10x10 units left. However, to keep me from going somewhere else, they offered the 10x20 units for the same price as the 10x10 ($116/mo at the time.) I accepted with the understanding that I won't touch my stuff for a year.
    3. Place was a disaster with construction of new building. Several times during my move I had to turn around because I could not get to my rental unit due to construction activities.
    4. As I am moving in, the tenant down the hall is moving a unit full of mold infested clothing, furntiture, and electronics out. I'm thinking... great.
    5. Email letter received 2/7 (in spam folder no less) with a .pdf notice of a "moderate" rate increase to cover costs. This "moderate" increase was $60 more per month. For those who don't want to do the math, that is an increase of 52%.
    6. Called store on 2/8, spoke to an agent there. He said he was not a regular employee at that store and referred me to Kyle, the store manager I guess.
    7. Kyle finally called a couple days later (2/11) and said he agreed that the increase seemed wrong but said he could nothing about it. 
    8. Kyle referred me to Tracy (Operations Supervisor) who was most polite yet almost tauntingly uncaring about my complaint and certainly unwilling to work with me on our call 2/12.
    9. Tracy insisted that we are discussing rates for a 10x20. I insisted that it was not applicable because I am paying 10x10 rate. Further she insists that the cost of a 10x20 is $219 when it is, in fact, $179. 
    10. Now, the new rate for a 10x10 is less than what I am paying at $98/mo with a free month!
    11. All I have asked for is that they honor the $116/mo rate until the end of July.
    12. They suggest that I move all my stuff to the 10x10... Who would do that when they have to get it out in 4 months anyway?
    13. Called corporate office to escalate 2/12. Told I would receive a call from someone who could sort this out. I don't expect that call which is why I am posting this today.
    NOTE TO COMPANY: People make their decisions on where to store their stuff based on cost... sometimes $5 dollars per month is the deciding factor. Seriously, what makes you think a $60 increase is ethical, let alone reasonable?

  • went very well... i was surprised how courteous the staff was all throughout the process... they were punctual on returning calls and followups... they were not the cheapest but was worth it.  they were the first to suggest getting a 4 man crew, this saved us time and money when moving out of the apartment on 3rd floor.

  • Very impressed with the professionalism the company provided from providing an estimate to being at the house on time to move our items. The guys who came to the house took their time to make sure everything was moved without causing damage to the furniture or the house. You would have thought they were moving their own stuff.

  • and quot;Jack Of All Trades - by Georgeand quot; was recommended to me by a good friend and I'm glad I decided to use his services. The friend who referred me hired George to do a major roof repair to his camping trailer; George charged less than half of what the dealership wanted and the repair was excellent.
    I called George looking to have an a/c unit installed on my pop-up camping trailer but didn't know what to expect. He was honest and transparent about everything. He explained what options would be appropriate for my particular trailer with a range of prices, offered some observations about the build quality of each unit as well as the performance track record from what he receives for repair in his shop. I decided to spend a little more and get the Dometic a/c unit because of the 2-year comprehensive warranty, significantly higher build quality and higher cooling output.
    I dropped off my trailer at his shop the next day (Thursday). He confirmed my selection of a/c unit and briefly went over the installation work with me again. (I appreciate a professional who understands the importance of clear communication before work begins). He phoned in an order for the a/c unit (while I was there) and promised the work would be completed by Wednesday of the following week but he instead finished early and my trailer was ready for pick-up that Monday. Payment was very easy too, he swiped my credit card with one of those and quot;Squareand quot; card readers on his phone and emailed me the receipt. I payed for parts when I dropped off the trailer and labor, separately, when I picked it up the following Monday.
    When I came to pick up the trailer he had it set up in his shop with the newly installed a/c unit operating. He walked me through the basic operation of the a/c unit a few highlights about the installation. I was very impressed with his work and the wiring job was especially clean and hidden.
    Even more impressive was that without asking (or charging) me, he went ahead and took care of a few minor issues that he noticed while he had my trailer in his shop. He tightened the cable clutch for raising the top and refastened a trim piece that was loose on the bumper.
    Very high quality workmanship; this guy is the only person I will go to for my camper/RV repairs and upgrades. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND and quot;JACK OF ALL TRADES - BY GEORGEand quot;

  • Everything went great from getting the estimate to the move. The only problem was at the storage facility. My unit was on the second floor, which was no big deal as elevator was right there at the entrance and the unit was just around the corner. But unfortunately the elevator went out of service on the second trip up to the unit. The office was closed so we were in a dilemma of what to do. The movers thought about coming back out the next day as it was late and because I did not want them to have to climb the stairs. The decided to go ahead and finish the move anyway. They hustled and got it all done in about an hour.

  • I had a pleasant experience working with them and the people who work there are always very friendly and helpful. The building is clean and they have bathrooms that the patrons can use. There are hand-trucks available to use when you are moving things in and out and it is very convenient that they send their bills online.

  • Jennifer was extremely helpful when I had to move out of my home in a hurry. They have everything from boxes, packing supplies and even truck rentals, all in one place! She had several suggestions that helped me save a little money as well! I don't ever want to have to move this quickly again but I do know my next move with be with this company and hopefully Jennifer will still be there smiling to help me out!! Thanks so much Jennifer!

  • I have used this storage facility for several years. They have never raised the monthly storage fee. I have never had theft or break-ins, or any water damage, although there have been a few insects. My unit is totally under my control and locks with a padlock which the customer must supply. The woman who works there is very courteous and friendly.
