    My overall experience with Ultra Roofing LLC has been a positive one. After purchasing a house I discovered multiple roof leaks all over the house. After getting quotes from multiple contractors I decided on Ultra Roofing because the account manager Juan was the quickest to reply to my inquiries. In addition they are not a huge roofing company (as far as I know) and had a reasonable quote. Juan came to my house multiple times to talk about the project and what needed to be done about it, he kept me informed throughout the project of any delays, or what part of the project is finished. He inspected all the work himself after repairs were completed and even had a part painted again because it was not up to his standards (I honestly could not tell the difference). The work I needed was the entire flashing around the Chimney needed to be done, I needed several pipe jacks to be replaced, as well as a few spots where a satellite dish was removed and caulked poorly. They completely replaced the shingles in those spots. In addition I had the entire chimney siding, trim, and chimney cap replaced so the entire chimney is under their 3 year warranty. I had my window repaired, and some flashing on another part of my roof done. The ridgeline was also replaced on one part of my roof after a bad storm, this occurred halfway during the project. All together this totaled to a little more than 4400$. Half was paid up front on the day they came to do the work, and I paid for the rest as we went along. All together it took about 3-4 days to do the work (not counting delays). A few of the challenges that occurred was that the producer of the Chimney cap was not responsive to Ultra Roofing, and they had to get another manufacturer to come in. This caused the chimney cap to be 100 dollars more, but as long as my roof does not leak anymore I am happy. Also there was an accident where a tool was dropped and hit my hanging lights, this caused two bulbs to break, but the workers cleaned it up and they replaced my bulbs for free. From this entire experience, I can definitely recommend Ultra Roofing LLC for anyone���s general contracting needs, they are professional and they do good work (as far as I can tell). The contractors cleaned up well and were friendly and hard working. And the account manager Juan was excellent in making sure that everything went as smoothly as possible and that I was satisfied with the work done. I will update this review in a few months or years to give an update on how the repairs have held up.

    03/30/19 I had an addition put on my house in 2016. On Tuesday (03/26/19), I had a problem with the sump pump and contacted North Carolina Exteriors since it���s under warranty for ten years (I have documentation from North Carolina Exteriors verifying this). The young lady that answered the phone told me the pump would only have a one year warranty. Once I told her I had the documentation they gave me with a ten year warranty, she asked me to email what I had to her. Regards, XXXXXX *** I sent two documents from North Carolina Exteriors with the warranty information (labor and manufacturer) they gave me when the project was completed. That is the manufacture warranty, you can contact XXXXX Plumbing INC at 919-XXX-XXXX or the manufacture for the pump that is overflowing. *** she did not include any contact information for the manufacturer, but wanting to move this along, I figured I would just look it up online. Did Liberty state they are not responsible for the 10 year manufacturer warranty? 2. If Liberty stated that they are not responsible for the warranty, does this mean that Carolina Exteriors is responsible until the warranty expires? 3. When can I expect to get a list of the contact information for the companies responsible for the items listed under ���Manufacturer Warranty?" 4. I am waiting for a return call from the plumber who I would like to complete the evaluation and repair. Should I not hear back from him by EOB tomorrow, or if his schedule is full, when can I expect someone to come take a look at the pump and how much will it cost? Going forward, please communicate via this email address only. This will ensure I have documentation of our exchanges to help prevent any miscommunications or misunderstandings. His expectation that I wait almost a week just for him to speak to a plumber is unreasonable when he, or someone else, can easily contact a plumber over the phone to get this resolved as soon as possible. Please let him know that, while I am not expecting him or anyone else, to drop everything for this, I do not understand (or appreciate) getting the runaround to the point where I cannot even be given correct information about who is supposed to fix this. It is very disappointing to be treated this way after the completion of the addition. Customer service and good business practices are not supposed to end once construction is completed. I want to let you know that the warranty we sent with you was the information we got from liberty at the time. Im not sure if they will warranty the pump or not and happy to look into this when I return back to work on Monday. However, even if they do stand by warranty it will only cover the pump and not any labor to repair. Their warranties only cover the pump itself. I called the plumber who installed this pump and they no longer sell liberty and as they told you I believe liberty would never cover their labor to repair. My advise would be to contact a plumber directly who can service they pump and have them repair and document everything so that when you deal with liberty you can pass this along to them. I will help you deal with liberty when I return. This is not a nc exteriors warranty issue or the plumbers but the manufacturers warranty issue. Again, I will help anyway I can but you will need to call a plumber for repair thanks *** so, here I���m advised to pay out of pocket for everything and rely on them to help me be reimbursed at a later date. If they had given me any accurate information or decent customer service up until this point, I might have done that. I got Liberty's phone number off the internet and called. The gentleman I spoke to (XXXXXX) said he needs to know what supplier the pump came from - there are 7 in this area. I've copied him on this email so you can reply directly to him with the information. He also stated the warranty for their pumps is for three years, not ten like I was told. Once this issue is resolved, we'll need to sort out warranty dates and terms for the items listed on the documentation given to me by Carolina Exteriors for the addition. They were both very helpful. I contacted a plumber I know is trustworthy (he���s done work for me before) and am waiting to hear back from him as to when he can fit me into his schedule. I wish I could say I trust North Carolina Exteriors enough to use a plumber they���d sent, but (for obvious reasons) I haven���t felt like I can. It is now Saturday and my level of frustration is growing. I have been out of my home for almost a week with no resolution in sight. Had North Carolina Exteriors given me the correct information for who to contact at Liberty, this might have all been taken care of by now. I really believe they should have contacted Liberty and/or the supplier themselves to handle this, but that���s just another instance of their poor (and uncaring) customer service skills. Also, for them to give me incorrect warranty information (more than once) is unacceptable. How can you guarantee warranties and not honor them? I have a document from North Carolina Exteriors saying the pump is covered for 10 years. They told me over the phone that it���s covered for one year ��� until I sent them the documentation they sent me. When I contacted Liberty, they advised me that it���s covered for 3 years and is still under warranty. Had I listened to what I was originally told by North Carolina Exteriors about it being covered for one year, I would have paid out of pocket for the pump and labor. The takeaways from this story are: 1. Once they have completed the project, you���re on your own. 2. Keep METICULOUS documentation of everything said and done because, apparently, they don���t. 3. Don���t bother trying to be as helpful as possible by doing their jobs (administratively, researching information, making phone calls, etc). They don���t appear to care one way or the other.

    I called Gary the Handyman to find the source of moisture ingress on our roof and to replace the rotting wood resulting from the moisture ingress. The estimator arrived at the appointed time. He did a very good job explaining his observations. He was very thorough and professional. I received the quotation the next day. The quotation was reasonable. The repair person arrived on the expected day. He did a very good job. He found that the damage was more extensive than first predicted. He communicated the changes to me. I authorized the additional repairs. The repairs were completed in a timely fashion. I highly recommend Gary the Handyman. I will definitely use them again.

    Great. George���s work was outstanding. He was responsive to my request and respected my questions and treated my job as important as I am certain a more lucrative job probably awaited his attention, but you would have never known if it did. He wanted to make sure we were pleased with his work and even took the time a few months after the job was done to chexk in, come by and see how the work had settled. He had completed the work duiring humid weather and was committed to the work. Definitely would hire him to do other work on our home.

    Billy Vaughan and his crew are fantastic. We have been remodeling our own homes for 25 years, doing some work ourselves and hiring other parts out. We had been planning this change for a couple of years and had been trying to come up with a design that would take our simple, flat front 1950s ranch and turn it into a cute cottage with a lot of personality. This project was too big to handle on our own so we went looking for a GC who would work with us and respect our design ideas while handling the details and doing a quality job. We interviewed a few contractors and decided on Billy because he really listened to what we wanted to do. He offered great ideas where we were uncertain and added his own creativity because he was able to see our vision. His main team - love these guys - were so professional, courteous and exceptionally talented. They kept the worksite clean and safe. Their attention to detail was excellent. They quickly figured out that we wanted to be more involved and so they came to us whenever they had questions or ideas that might improve our design. The project included adding 11'x14' addition to our master bedroom to the front of the house. We also added a 9'x11' screen porch and an 8'x22' open porch on the front. They extended the eaves on the sides of the house, replaced the entire roof, replaced several existing windows, plus the front door, and re-sided all of the wood trim with concrete siding. Quite a project overall and the transformation was amazing. Several complete strangers have stopped to stare and comment about how it looks like a brand new house (true story!). My wife and I couldn't be happier with our "new" cottage. Billy and his crew were the perfect team to turn our vision into our dream home.

    We had a large addition consisting of a master suite with garage and basement area added to our 50 year old home in Downtown Cary. We were given Billy���s name through a contact after interviewing approximately 4 builders. Upon meeting Billy it was apparent that he had great ideas and would be easy to discuss our dream home. The project was large in scale for an addition on a older split level home with some challenges with the lot which Billy was able to work with and always in a timely manner. People want to put our home on their list of homes to tour for Christmas! Never thought we would be asked for thatto happen. His work crew are pros and Billy works with the best! He absolutely honored our requests to keep the integrity of the home in relation to the historic neighborhood while completing what we desired which was main level living space. Now we live in a beautiful home that we can stay in as long as we live. He also worked with us to keep the costs down on this addition. We feel so fortunate that we chose Vaughan Construction.     I can���t say enough good things about this company. Its starts with the initial contact with very pleasant and helpful Susan Howell and leads to great service from the very conscientious and punctual Tim Howell and his Rain-Go Team. I���ve have used this company multiple times over the past 10 years to replace windows, siding, gutters, and rotten siding, casements, soffits, and moldings all around my house. There work is top notch, the team is conscientious, punctual, friendly and their prices are excellent for the quality that you receive - I have never been disappointed with anything they���ve done for me. The current project was to close off three casement windows in our master bathroom and replace them with a higher-placed sliding window prior to the installation of a new tile shower. Since they had to adjust the siding over the area where the windows were, I asked them to reside that entire side of my house. The work was done quickly, the area was left clean, and completed to my complete satisfaction I will definitely use them again and again as long as I won this house

    Exceptionally well run organization that did an outstanding job on all levels. Clifford (owner) came to our home to give an estimate. He was very professional, knowledgeable and answered all our questions. The estimate was precise with considerable detail. Lewis the project manager showed a great interest in our job being done to our specifications, he was very responsive and personable. In 30 years of home ownership I would venture that Juan and Mario (who did the work) were the best workers we have ever had. They were extremely meticulous, communicative, timely and did a phenomenal job. I really can't say enough about their workmanship and attitude. The office is also very well run. The end result is an enormous improvement in our home's appearance.
