Piano Moving reviews in Cary

  • It went well. The movers arrived when they said they would, spent a short amount of time getting the “lay of the land” and then went right to work. Nice crew. They were organized and coordinated and got the job done.

  • We loved working with Trosa.  Their estimates were very good, and we actually ended up under estimate.  The crew was awesome - hard working, professional, organized, and took great care with our belongings.  We had a crew leader who organized the moving day, and he did a fantastic job.  We were very happy with Trosa!

  • The movers were great!!! The communication with their boss not so great since he said they would come 3/3:30 and no one showed up till about 6:30. Again, the men who did the actual move were great!!

  • Prompt clear quote when I called.
Arrived on time for pickup of piano. Had all the right padding, straps, ramp and dolly to quickly and easily remove and load the piano.
Unload and move into new location went equally as well.
Professional and polite in all steps.

  • They moved our furniture from our old house to our new house.  Completed job very fast and were on time.  Some very minor damage but can be expected for old furniture that has moved 6 time already.

  • WHEN LARRY GRAVES FINALLY DELIVERED THE PIANO, I NOTICED THE CABINET OF THE PIANO WAS ABOUT HALF-WAY DONE ON THE WOOD OF THE PIANO. I COULD LIVE WITH IT THOUGH. WHEN THEY BROUGHT THE PIANO IN THE HOUSE THEY RESTED IT ON MY FRONT STEPS PUTTING DEEP GROOVES INTO THE WOOD ON THE BOTTOM. FINALLY GOT THE PIANO INSIDE.

WELL NOW THE SELF PLAYER WOULD NOT WORK. HE LOOKED AT IT AND SAID HE WAS GOING TO TAKE IT OUT OF THE PIANO AND CARRY IT BACK HOME TO WORK ON IT. THAT WAS IN DEC, 2008 AND IT IS NOW JULY, 2013 AND STILL NO LARRY GRAVES. I HAVE RECORDS OF CALLING HIM OVER 110 TIMES. WHEN YOU DO GET IN TOUCH WITH HIM,HE SAYS HE IS COMING AND DOES'NT SHOW UP. THIS SELF-PLAYER PIANO WAS MY GRANDMOTHERS FROM 1915. I HAVE THE RECEITS SHOWING HOW MUCH SHE PAID EVERY MONTH IN 1915 AND 1916.
PLEASE DONT MAKE THE MISTAKE I DID AND PAY HIM OR DO ANY BUSINESS WITH HIM WHAT-SO-EVER. VERY VERY VERY UNRELIABLE. I EVEN OFFERED TO COME PICK HIM UP AND THE PLAYER, DRIVE HIM TO MY HOUSE AND CARRY HIM BACK.
DO NOT USE ATLANTIC DECOR OR LARRY GRAVES FOR ANYTHING

  • When we called Mathis Moving in Newark, Ohio to give us an estimate for packing and moving, Brandan came to the house and went over everything we wanted to move. He was courteous and professional and answered all our many questions. Our calls were answered promptly as we went through the process of choosing a moving company. The estimate was better than most and we did not feel pressured to make a decision.
Mathis sent 3 packers, Floyd, Mark and Steve. They arrived on time and started right away. They were willing to accommodate our requests while packing. We had quite a few things and it took 2 days to finish. We feel they did an excellent job.
The third day the truck was loaded. Initially they sent 4 people, Paul, Travis, Floyd and Steve. Before they started, they put down floor protection and even plywood in the yard to protect the lawn and not track grass into the house or the truck. Another crew , including Mark and Tommy, came later in the day to help move everything from the basement. Even Brandon stopped in to check on the progress! Since we have a piano, special care had to be taken to move it. Everything fit in the truck and they were down by around 4 o'clock. Mathis packed and loaded very carefully. They also cleaned everything up before they left.
Since we had not bought a house here in North Carolina, they unloaded all of our things into storage units. We cannot say enough good things about this. The crew who unloaded ( Darrell and Travis from Mathias plus two men, William and Jay from the local Allied company here in Raleigh) were excellent. They rewrapped and stacked furniture and appliances with our padding materials as their materials belonged on the truck. They all worked very hard to get things just right. They were finished by early afternoon.
It was a good experience. Everyone was friendly, courteous and professional from start to finish. Mathis can be justly proud of their company and their employees. We highly recommend them.

  • I was really well prepared for this move and had inventoried all of my goods, boxes, etc., so their inventory list was a back up to my own.  Being prepared is key to a successful move.  I had gaterade and cups for the movers since it was very hot the day they packed me up. I stayed out of their way but was accessible to them the entire time they were there.  They were polite and careful.  They were careful at both locations of this move.  They also came back several days after July 24th to remove paper and boxes which would have been hard for me to dispose of.

  • The movers did an excellent job ! The owner gave me a non-over quote meaning that they would never charge over that quoted price. The movers showed up on time, and moved all our big items with care. They covered all items with rugs to ensure no damage. They even moved piano just like the professional piano movers. At the end, they finished earlier than estimated, so the final bill was actually lower than the quote. Overall I'm quite satisfied with the company and have recommended them to a few of my friends.

  • I called on 02/29/2012 to get an estimate for what he would charge to pick up the piano in my home and deliver it to my cousin's home in Clinton is about sixty-five miles from my house in Cary. He quoted a price off $225.00 round trip, and I told him I would get back with him after talking to my cousin. I had to talk to my cousin about the price and determine a date for the move.

After confirming the date and price, I called Gerald's back and scheduled the date for the move. They arrived within the scheduled time and were very efficient with wrapping, moving and loading the piano. On the other end in Clinton, my cousin was very pleased with the move and price.

While they were at my home, I ask if they would help me by unloading the 'cat litter' in my car and bring it in the house. They were very helpful for me.
