    Carolina Solar Security - Wilmington
Very professional, very tidy and on time. The film works Great! Could tell a difference as soon as it was installed! You can't tell it it is even there. I would recommend - in fact, I have sent contact info to two (2) friends.

    Capital Nissan
The problem was getting a call that my valve covers were leaking badly and need replacing for just under $500.  Since I had recently replaced the plugs, and Capital had done some other work not too long ago and this was not seen or mentioned, I doubted the severity of the leak.  I was told by the service writer, "if you see any oil on the ground it's too late"...  The inference was the motor would be severely damaged if I waited to smell oil, look for oil on the ground when my dipstick showed no level drop. That was total BS, incorrect and a pressure sell in my opinion. Being knowledgable about car repair, this thew up a big red flag to me.   They were doing recall work at no charge, that didn't require being on a lift and the only way you can see a valve cover leak in this vehicle is from under the car.
I asked them to e-mail me a picture so I could decide if it was just minor seepage or a copious leak.  I get a call an hour later, no picture.  I was told it was "minor seepage" and I should just keep an eye on it.
I believe this was more an effort for the service tech and the writer to make extra commission on unneccessary work, than it was to fix a legitimate problem.  The service writer was too aggressive, innapropriately exaggerating the risk of not doing the repair right then.
I realize this happens every day at dealer and independent service shops.  The service writer just went too far on the phone exaggerating the problem for my taste.  I have been satisfied with the work Capital has done in the past.  I kind of feel I caught them in a lie by asking for the picture, which was not my intention, and that's not the way a dealer service shop should be if they have integrety.

    Roberts Auto Glass
Outstanding customer support and professional service! Mr. Roberts was very congenial and I really enjoyed my visit to his shop. I will definitely go back to his shop for any additional work should we need it. Thank you very much!

Work was not done when requested,  the price was ridiculous--involved only three bolts and cost $50.  The  shop and office was a complete mess  and you are besieged the entire time by the owner espousing his extreme right wing views

    Mobil Quick Lube
These guys are top notch. They are very accommodating and do great work. Things get done right the first time and if something goes wrong they stand steadfastly behind their work.
We have had our BMW, Mercedes and Jeep Wrangler in for work and my daughter had them do work on her Nissan.
Almost anything you could need in the way of routine work, these guys can do it and do it well.
Most of our vehicles were built in the last 5 years but my Wrangler is a 1997. The Wrangler is mostly for around town and on the beach and these guys know it and avoid going overboard on unnecessary repairs. I have many times been rebuked by Wes' lead mechanic for wanting to invest too much into this vehicle.
Victoria keeps a list of any potential work that needs to be done on your vehicle and will call and remind you about getting the work done.
A+++++++ Great work Wes and Victoria!

    Superior Automotive
I have been using Superior Automotive for repairs and servicing for nearly 10 years. On this occasion, as on previous occasions, I was seen promptly. Mike Maltba called to tell me what he diagnosed the problem as being, and gave an estimate of work before starting. The repair involved removing and replacing the cooling tank and thermostat and housing, as well as flushing the cooling system. The work was completed in a timely manner; both the mechanic who worked on the car and Mike explained what had been done, and the repair has been successful. Pricing of repairs have been moderate and work has been done with care and ccourtesy.

These guys do great work. We have been using them for about 3 years now and have had wonderful results. They are family run and car about what they do. Brakes, Oil Change and AC recharge on our 2006 BMW. A variety of things on our 1997 Jeep Wrangler.

    Import Performance Inc
Had my brake pads changed at import performance. Afterwards I had a high pitch squeal coming from my front driver wheel. I brought my car back in because of the noise and was told it could be that the rotors need replacing too. I went ahead and replaced the rotors but immediately after leaving the shop the high screech started back up. I brought the car back in to have then take a look they looked it over and told me everything looked fine and sent me on my way. A few hours after leaving the sound immediately returned. I gave up and took the car to the dealer who immediately found the problem: import performance put two inner brake pads on the driver side wheel instead of an inner and an outer. Not only did they perform the service wrong initially but after two visits to fix the sound they were oblivious to the problem (something the dealer figured out immediately upon putting the car up). Do not recommend them for service. They did call me back after I filed a complaint, explained they let the mechanic go, and offered to pay the dealer fee but I was too fed up to even deal with them anymore.

Pat's Tire & Auto Service Center
It was a disaster. I had to call in the National Auto Corporation. I had to pay $150 a pop for the inspector from the National Auto Corporation to come out to determine that they did not install the gaskets. It was awful and it took about 4 months to resolve. They reinstalled but they did not give me my money back. I was not happy with them. The price was fair before I had all the problems. They actually would not give me the owner's name. They knew they were at fault and I had to get the inspector involved and had to threaten them with getting an attorney.

Pat's Tire & Auto Service Center
They worked me into their busy schedule and thoroughly explained what they needed to do and why they needed to do it. They were both friendly and professional. After visiting two other similar places, I chose Pat's because I felt I could trust them, and I was not disappointed. When I left I was confident of the work they performed and will be using them for all future tire service.
