Tree Service reviews in Canton

We knew the job would take longer than one day so we asked for an estimate, both Patrick and Morgan came out and gave us an approximate cost.
The communication was excellent, Morgan let us know when they would arrive and also asked if it was ok to stage some of their equipment.

The work began on Monday 3/7/2016 and ended Tuesday 3/8/2016, they worked for approximately seven to eight hours each day.  Patrick was there some of the time on Monday but did have to leave part of the day because of an emergency tree removal.  He did come back later that afternoon.
All of their employees were professional, even though Patrick was not there part of the time on Monday, the work continued and was done safely.
The work they did exceeded our expectations, extra brush and small trees were removed that was above and beyond the scope of the project.
So to sum up our experience, they were AWESOME!

    Medford Tree Services

Let me begin by saying I never give reviews and I mean NEVER...whether it be good, bad, whatever, I just hardly ever take the time. This time however, I just had to write one.  I had a very large tree in a backyard, of a property I am trying to sell. Some of the limbs I could tell were damaged and maybe even dead, but I really did not have it in the budget for this property to have it cut down, so I was just hoping and praying none fell out or down on the house, or fence of the next door neighbors. Well, a limb did fall out and I knew I had to call someone to come look and give me an estimate, and Medford's Tree Service was the first one I called.  Mr. Medford came to the property in about 30 minutes and looked at the tree, saw my situation, and said he could help.  His price was reasonable, I did not feel like he was trying to overcharge just an average working class person.  Well, I expected him to say he would be back in a day or two, how about he went right to his truck... got out his big chain-saw, tree climbers and headed back to the tree..I was like "are you going to do this by yourself, do you not need some help?"  He climbed up in the tree and started taking out limbs.  He had to cut out all of them due to so much damage, but was done within an hour. I was amazed!!  He was professional, very nice and did the job right then!!  Now I am sure sometimes he might not be able to always do that on the spot, but he could have put my job off and made me wait, but he didn't and I really appreciate it.  I would recommend him and his service to anyone, residential or commercial, and in the future when I have a need for a tree service Medford's will be the ONLY one I call!

This was the most professional team I had ever seen!  They worked wonderfully together to safely bring down some very big, very dangerous already dead and dying trees, most of which were hemlock and pine.  The land in question was a 1/2 acre of heavily wooded land on a slope.  I didn't just want the whole thing cleared, I wanted to leave the healthy oaks, maples, poplars, and dogwood trees.  This job was a major undertaking and took a 6 day week to complete.  The folks at Tarzan the Tree Man, Patrick, Dave, Morgan, and Junior, were all very kind, and very hard working.  They barely took a lunch break!  Not only did they amaze me with how well they all worked together, but they amazed me at how well they operated all the heavy equipment, ropes, pulleys, etc.  Some of the trees were so dangerous, they actually broke apart in the air on the way down.  Yet, this crew brought down each tree with the utmost safety and precision.  I was truly astonished at the work these guys did!  They also chipped up a good bit of what came down, and even spread it for me.  Dave was very creative with all the stones on my property and arranged them in appealing ways, and even surprised me with a stone fire pit that he built with the stone that was unearthed during this whole process.  What these guys did was fully transform a piece of land previously unusable to a piece of land that was completely usable.  They also cleared some brush type growth around a creek and spring head and unclogged the culvert under the driveway too.  Honestly, these guys were worth every penny that this job cost.  Had I not had such a professional team doing this, someone would have certainly gotten hurt and there would've been a good chance that one of many trees could've hit my house as they were coming down.  But these guys are so good at what they do that I was never in fear of anything like that happening.  When I found them on Angie's list and saw what people were saying, I knew they were the right company for the job I had.  I would hire these guys again in a flash, and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs tree work done.  They cleaned up at the end of every day, really lessening the mess of such a job.  They were great in every way and I could go on and on about how kind and professional these guys were.  They really blew my socks off!

    Grassroots Home Maintenance
They performed yard work as discussed and did a very good job.  The only
issues were scheduling (which took several phone calls) and getting estimates for additional work -- in
fact I am still waiting for estimates on the additional work (including tree services)  that we
discussed when they were here.  However, once they come, they do a very good job.

    DEESE'S TREE SVC
They arrived promptly when they said they would and worked carefully and hard, having to saw and drop the massive limbs and not do any more damage to the landscaping in place than was necessary. It was a complicated removal and they did an excellent job. When they were finished, the threatening oak was removed as well as the stump and the adjacent maple was trimmed. We did save some dollars for this work by keeping the oak for firewood and having the chipped debris blown into our deep woods versus hauling it away. We are relieved that a very real threat to our home is no longer "hanging over our heads!"

    SOUTHERN TREE CARE,INC.
I highly recommend this company. They were willing to come out on a Saturday to get the job done early, and without surcharge. We had a team of 4 plus the foreman to fell about 20 trees to prepare for construction. Some had to be climbed, but they were careful not to spike the oaks that were just having limbs cut. These, they climbed without spikes. They arrived on time, were very polite and pleasant. We had a little 'oops' that occurred and they handled it with professionalism and in the end, it all turned out well. Accidents happen, but it is how you handle them that counts. They even moved my patio furniture to prevent damage, then replaced it when done. While I did not hire them to cut up the trees and remove from property, they offered and did clear up the ones that blocked the drive way as well as an outdoor patio area. This company carries the proper insurance and follows strict OSHA guidelines, be sure to check when you get quotes from other companies. They appear very safe with helmet, face protection and chaps. It was a pleasure to meet them and have them perform work. You won't go wrong.

    Smart Feller Tree Works LLC
As stated above, Chardin was a true professional.  Every part of the trees that were cut were utilized for future use.  Very professional work; were there when they said theywould be; made many useful suggestions about using the wood.  Definitely went the extra mile.  Will definitely use Chardin again, and recommend him to anyone.

    BANKS TREE SERVICE
They did a superb job.  I've never seen a group of people take  a massive tall tree and put it down to where nothing fell.  It all came down by cable.  It was fantastic.  We had a 6 foot tall fence on the other side and not once did anything come close to touching it.  The truck was 7 feet wide.   It had been growing since 1923. They swept up and cleaned up.  Other than the tree missing you couldn't tell they had been there.  They were very nice and professional people, they were friendly.

Pretty much as described above. I was pleased with service (my trees are apparently free of the adelgids at this time). they have treated these trees on two occasions about 18 months apart, but have not contacted them lately.
