    Quality Floor Service Inc
We received estimates from a few companies in the area, all of which were within a couple hundred dollars of each other. We decided on Quality Floor Services based on customer reviews and the initial responsiveness of the project manager, Jesse. Jesse scheduled the start of the job to accommodate our schedule. The installers arrived on time on the scheduled start date and showed up on time every day throughout the job. The work was completed a couple days ahead of schedule; the efficiency and quality of work exceeded my expectations. The existing floors and new floors were a great match and all of the floors look great. The installers were courteous, skilled, and hard working. I had a few small requests of the installers during the installation which were all addressed promptly and without hesitation. Jesse was also very responsive to email and helpful throughout the job. We would recommend this company for hardwood installation and refinishing without hesitation and would absolutely hire them again for future projects.

    Classic Builders of Hendersonville
Project was originally planned for 6-8 weeks. Our planned absences added two more weeks to the project but the project ended up taking eleven weeks. The contractor and crew of two were always prompt, courteous, consulted with us on many details, always cleaned up after themselves, let us know when they would arrive and when they were not able to work on our project (rarely). Most everything went well and the quality of the work was excellent. Contractor handled coordination of electrical, drywall and glass subcontractors and inspections. Wed use them again. A couple of things could have gone better: 1. Cultured marble for the master bath walk-in shower our contractor wanted to use a different vendor than planned due to problems he had in the past regarding on-time deliveries. After checking with us, we agreed. However, the new vendor wasnt able to produce molded projects like the sample and after three tries we all agreed to go back to the original vendor who performed quite well. This cost the project a couple of weeks of lost time. 2. We encountered a few instances where we were to have ordered some tile and plumbing parts and materials but didnt realize we had to so we had to scramble to get them. This caused a couple of small delays. Recommend identifying the purchased parts and materials with any contractor to make sure everything is covered and to clarify who has to purchase them and when.

    Evans Residential Electrical & Construction
The job was arranged through Lowe's in West Asheville.  Bruce Evans is very highly regarded by the project specialist.  We are so glad she chose him as the general contractor.  The job was completed as promised with Bruce and his helper showing up every day when he said they'd be there.  The work was done perfectly.  All the debris was removed daily with Bruce being very concerned to leave the condo in good shape for our tenant each night.
The work he did included laying floating vinyl floors (Smartcore) in the kitchen and two bathrooms, installing a new dishwasher, replacing a sliding glass patio door (which was a major ordeal), replacing two toilets and two bathroom vanities.  He is not a plumber but does do hookups of toilets and vanity faucets.  He hired M&M Plumbing to do the water heater replacement and install a proper ice maker line with connector box. (We were also very happy with M&M's work.)  Bruce is a skilled carpenter and licensed electrician who can handle anything that needs to be done.  He has decades of experience in building and remodeling and we were very comfortable in following his recommendations when there were questions about what to do.
We are very happy with Bruce's work.  We will definitely hire Evans Residential again and recommend him to anyone who needs his services.

    Eric Shipp
Ours was an extremely difficult job and very detailed; we got the right man for the job in that he does high quality, excellent work and has great attention to detail. Eric guarantees his work and returned numerous times until it was right. Highly professional and keeps his word. The job took longer than expected but turned out well.

    Homeland Handyman Plus
I hired Homeland Renovations to do the majority of the renovations on a rental property that needed some serious TLC. Bryan took on a number of projects that ranged from deck repairs, removing walls, plumbing/electrical, carpentry, etc. I was impressed with the quality of their work and communication during the course of the project. The scope of the renovation was fairly large and there were bound to be issues that popped up along the way. Cheryl and Bryan communicated any change orders or snags in timing clearly and although the process took a little longer than I would have liked, I was very satisfied with the end result. Bryan clearly takes great pride in his work and I enjoyed working with him and Cheryl. I won't hesitate to hire Homeland Renovations again in the future.

    A+ Home Improvements
When we hired A+ services, it was for the third time. They had previously replaced a French door, and also, pressure washed the house. We were very pleased on all counts. This time, we had two windows we wanted installed to make a corner view. They cut the wallboard away and behind one, were all the electrical cords leading to the junction box. This was beyond their expertise and further consultation with  electricians caused us to abandon that idea. A+'s Darrel Shroyer, supervised the setting of the new window and did a beautiful job. Then, he remudded, sanded and repainted the wall where a window could not be set. The entire corner looks beautiful. Further, he used a grout with silicone to repair the issues we were having with our tiles. His workmanship was excellent and he was always very down to earth about answering questions. We would most definitely recommend the services of this company.

    Steve Babbit
My neighbor hired Steve to do a small carpet installation job. I asked her to see if Steve would stop by afterward and take care of our very small repair job. He agreed. We did not know what time he would arrive until about an hour before. He was VERY professional, knew exactly how to do the job and had all the necessary tools. And is a very pleasant fellow. And the repair is completely invisible. We would definitely hire him again for carpet installation or repair.

    A+ Home Improvements
Made prompt appointment and showed up on time.  Repaired wall cabinet by bracing attic joists and repaired numerous squeaks in floor by bracing floor joists from crawlspace. Our upper cabinets had been sagging for several years and were getting worse.  They now look perfect!! The squeaks in the floor have decreased dramatically.  Could not have asked for nicer people and for better service at a reasonable cost.   Would definitely recommend them.  Will call them for any other repairs we need to have done.

    A+ Home Improvements
Work was done on a rental house that was starting to show signs of  aging due to weather and water leak in the bathroom as well as dog damage.  Our arrangement was that I would pay for material, and he would charge me for the labor, at an estimated price.
Darrel's carpentry work was excellent and he matched the siding boards very well.  He painted all new wood that was put up..
Darrell was on schedule and there when he said he would be.
I am very happy with his work and would not hesitate to use him again.
The only drawbacks that I can say were that he asked me if I would haul away the debris as I had a trailer and he said his was full.  This required me to make a trip to the land-fill.  Also, a short section of the gutters was missed when he replaced them and I was not present at the house to notice it while he was there.

    Leicester Carpet Sales
They had a guy come out and do the carpentry part and another crew came in and did the staining.  They all did an excellent job. They were all very courteous, very professional, and very clean and they did not make a mess.  They did a beautiful job.  I would use them in the future.
