    Gibson's Grading And Construction
This was the fourth job we had David do for us. Hes super easy to work with and has the ability to envision what it is we wanted accomplished. He graded the entire (small) backyard, installed a foundation drain and paved the area with granite slabs. His work is always above standard. I love the way the yard looks now and its much more usable. Integrity, honesty and fairness are the reasons we hire David time and again.

    Gibson's Grading And Construction
David and his Father did a great job replacing my drains around my house. Everything was explained and demonstrated. The job was completed in a timely fashion and David followed up to make sure everything was- is alright. I have already desided to use them for further improvements around my house.

    Gibson's Grading And Construction
I highly recommend Gibson's Grading and Construction. I had a leaking basement and contacted David Gibson to give an opinion and estimate on a fix. During the assessment I could tell David is very knowledgeable in this area. He made a recommendation which made sense to me and quoted a comparable price. He told me at the outset it would be several weeks before he could get to my project. During this time I had several questions that I sent through text or email and David answered every question and concern promptly. I found him to be kind, reliable and honest. In fact, he did extra work he saw that I needed without additional charge, including replacing leaking downspouts and even removing a small, dead tree. In my opinion, David Gibson is a top-notch professional with a good work ethic and good communication. I highly recommend him.

excellent. I hired david based on his reviews and I was not disappointed. he knows his stuff. all rainwater diverted away from house-had to regrade, install catch basin and reroute. also did crawlspace dehumidify and mold intervention on a small spot which was just beginning. good work is worth its price. you get what you pay for

    Foothills Crawlspace
Estimator discussed options and their merits before settling on job scope. He measured moisture content in wood framing and relative humidity to inform the discussion. We settled on the scope and the crew did the job in the estimated time in our absence. They followed up a few days later to verify everything was done to our satisfaction.

    Gibson's Grading And Construction
WOW! We were impressed! David went above and beyond what was called for in his contract. He treated our property and made suggestions as if it were his own. He not only installed the French drain, he ran additional lines to make sure they wouldn't be over loaded in heavy rain. Even though it wasn't in the contract, he built a retaining wall around the heat pumps to keep run off away from them. He re-graded the bank where he ran the drain pipes as well as the whole back yard, seeded and put down straw. He was very conscientious about not damaging the lawn with his equipment. And the nicest thing he did was repair a part of a retaining wall that I wanted to be left in place. In the basement he tore out the minimum drywall to assess the amount of mold. He located all areas with mold, removed it and treated for such. He aerated the basement for two days. David gave us suggestions for moisture control in addition to stopping the water coming in. We purchased a de-humidifier as he suggested and it shut off automatically after two days without filling as there was so little moisture in the entire basement. Success! I wish David could clone himself into other tradesmen. He is the best example of honesty, integrity, hard work and caring we have seen in all the many contractors we have hired in the last three years.....and there were many. I feel more confident that this job is probably the better value for our dollar than any that we have put into our home so far. I wouldn't hesitate for a minute to recommend David and his helper Dad,

David was very responsive as always by e-mail.  He replaced the drain lines in sections in case there should ever be another incident with these lines and my neighbor's dogs (neighbor has promised they won't be in my yard again).  Pop-up valves worked well in the rain last week and will only require my removing snow and leaves.  I think this is a good solution that he suggested.  The ground is still quite soft due to all of the rain we'd had prior to the work and after, but grass is growing due to same and David did a nice job grading over the new lines.  A small tree was snapped near it's base beside one of the pop-up valves, I'm guessing with the digging equipment, but that is not a problem as I had asked him to put the lines a little bit deeper.  The lines run alongside my septic field so I was glad to have David do the repair work as he was familiar with my land and leech field and has always done good work for me.  I am hoping this is the last time I will need David to come do repairs for me on my drainage system, but I will call him again should I need his help!

    Gibson's Grading And Construction
This project was delayed by 2.5 mos secondary to weather conditions affecting completion of his previous projects. Once on our job, David Gibson and his associate showed were punctual, efficient, and personable.
David Gibson replaced the basement sump pump and rerouted its drainage. David had planned to cut the slab to insert a larger pump, but elected not to so as not to damage the basement floor membrane. David had to find a pump to do the job that fit into existing opening in basement floor and was able to accomplish the task.
David and his father worked on the exterior project. His father ran the back hoe. They worked well as a team. The exterior project was completed on schedule. The trenched areas were covered with dirt. All the areas were sown with grass seed and covered with straw. David did install sod over the work in the dog run area to help minimize the house mud.
We have already begun discussions with this team to work on grading and construction of patio area as a fall project.

    Basement & Radon Solutions
The service provider came in, walked around the basement, but did not walk around the entire outside of the house to view the house foundation. According to the details on our Angie's List voucher for this service, we were supposed to receive a drainage analysis used for creating a preventive water leakage plan, a foundation inspection, a diagram of our home with elev ations of our foundation and comprehensive results and analysis of inspection including current foundation and drainage conditions. Our entire foundation was not inspected outside, we received no reports on our drainage analysis, we received no diagram of our home with elevations of our foundation and we received no reports about the comprehensive results and analysis of inspection.

There is a leak in the basement we were concerned with that my husband pointed out and the service provider said to keep an eye on it. He told my husband that their company did not do that type of service and that we would need to call another company. We purchase this deal with the understanding that this company would be able to help us as the wording in their ad said they would do a "water leakage inspection" and provide a "complete correction plan offering an all-inclusive repair price".

This was our first Big Deal purchase with Angie's List and this service provider did not come through with his advertised deal.
