Freds Painting Inc The Golden Brush
The service here was great! We had the house repainted and power washed the sidewalk and stairs; it looks brand-new. The construction work was also well done. We appreciated a roofing patch that came up during the job. Response time and coordination were a dream. Thanks, Fred's!

    Sasser Companies, Inc
From the very beginning I was given the run around, kept telling me they were coming to give me a estimate, finally after the 4th appt they arrived. He went through all the motions and told me he would have a estimate by the end of the week, 2 weeks and 6 phone calls and no estimate. Finally got in touch with management and they had the estimator call me. When he called me he had excuse after excuse and then finally the real reason no progress had been made was basically they didn't think the job was big enough for them to make any money at. They could have just said that from the beginning and I wouldn't have wasted weeks waiting on them to get an estimate and get the job started.

    Triad Power Wash, LLC
EXCELLENT. They were extremely professional. Our satisfaction with the job was their number 1 priority. They arrived exactly when they said they would be there and completed the job in a timely fashion. They took the time to explain to me how their equipment worked so that I could better understand the process. Price was extremely competitive compared to other companies. If you are looking for someone you can trust and depend on to take care of your pressure washing project, do not hesitate to use Triad Power Wash!

    Diversified Fence Builders Inc
We had just purchased our home and wanted a fence for our animals in the backyard.
I called several providers and got as many quotes. I found right away that Diversified Fence was the most prompt to respond with getting someone onsite to see what my needs were, and got me a quote right away. Jason and Linda seemed awesome. And with all these stellar reviews here on AngiesList, how could we go wrong?
They were prompt in getting a deposit from us and set an installation date for about two weeks later. The install went fine and on time, but when we discovered that the fence left a 4-6 inch gap at the bottom of the fence over a long stretch, we found this unacceptable and even after being assured of "Satisfaction Guaranteed" by Linda over the phone as she took our final payment this is where our problems started...
We called right away and Linda tried giving us the brush off and run around.
About a week later, I emailed Linda photos of our fence issues, and when finally got her on the telephone (she was dodging my calls at this point - more on this in a moment), she assured me that Jason would be contacting me the next day. We waited...and waited...and waited...
A week after this we tried getting a hold of Diversified Fence again, and we found that by we had to use different telephone numbers in order to get someone on the phone (it would appear that they are using CallerID to dodge calls). Finally after some very rude and condescending conversations with Linda, Jason got a hold of us and he informed us that he was just now hearing about our issues and he assured me that he would take care of things right way - oh, but wait, he was too busy to get to us right we had to wait another week.
.Once he arrived, my wife and I had to argue a resolution with the fence to where we would be satisfied with them installing a couple of 2x4's and a 2x6 at the fence bottom to close up the gaps. Jason continued on and on and on about how the fence needed to be straight, even though on another section of fence it was not straight and followed the contour of the yard - which we pointed out.
We finally had the workmen out yesterday (March 31st), even though Jason assured us that he would be handling this  personally. Jason called me to say that his workmen were already at my house and had completed the job. I went there and found that they had not completed the modifications to the fence according to our previous meeting. When I got Jason on the phone, he was incredibly argumentative (to which he later apologized because he was busy at a Trade Show). In any case, the workmen went out and procured a few more 2x4's and completed the tasks correctly.
In the end, I found that this was a very pleasant and professional company from the start, but upon having problems - they just lost all care for our satisfaction.
    To recap...
     * Our fence was installed quite well and timely, and it looks great, just that it would not have been able to keep our pets inside the fence area (this is the NUMBER ONE reason we got the fence)
     * Linda the office manager was rude and condescending on the telephone when I brought our concerns to her, not to mention the phone call dodging.
     * Jason was argumentative and difficult to deal with.
     * Final repairs were done incorrectly the first time, and it took a bit of arguing with Jason to get them corrected to our original agreement.
     * Additionally, the gate for our driveway scraped the concrete, lots of installation trash (tags from the boards, bits and pieces of concrete bags, etc) was left all over our yard, and neighbors yards - this I cleaned up myself, and several of the posts were not filled in all of the way.
In the end, I wish I had chosen another company to install our fence. The amount of stressed this caused for my wife and I was unacceptable, and I hope that no one else has to have such an interaction with Diversified Fence again. If you're reading this review, I hope that you take this into account before choosing this company to handle your fence installation.

First the owner came out and we so enjoyed her friendly way that we trusted her enough not to get a 2nd bid.  Not to mention her experience and knowledge.  She had good references.  Once we committed, she worked us right in.  Her crew was top notch and easy to have around.
They finished as anticipated.  We even changed our mind on something and they quickly adapted.
    Excellent choice!!

    Brooks Pressure Washing

He showed up on time and was VERY professional.  Did a great job and had everything done in about an hour and a half.  I will definitely be using this company again and recommending them to everyone.

    Dave Post Company
    Job done as expected.
In the past year Dave's company has done popcorn ceiling repair, interior painting, dryer duct work, cabinet repair, and landscaping at rentals. He is professional and dependable.

    EIFS Consulting
They did an excellent job and the house was clean. I had to come up with additional money to the big deal and that was not a positive thing. I had bought the deal for $200. That was a shocker for me to pay and additional $150.

    Living Colors Painting & Remodeling
Jeremy was responsive in returning my call & getting out to my house to do the job. Unfortunately the overall quality & attention to detail was below average & much lower than expected based on Angie List reviews.  The painters showed up later than communicated both days (45 minutes).  Failed to do any prep even after I had spent an hour going over the job with Jeremy 2 days prior.  Came in & painted walls & then when I pointed out imperfections that looked bad (house was being painted to get ready to put on market), Jeremy asked (I thought he was joking at the time), "Oh, you want me to spackle?". I had done some prep for them (spackling, a little sanding, removing some wall plates & drapes) to help speed the process but told them I needed them to make the house look great to help sell it.  It took them 2-3 times to then fix spots that would NOT have been an issue had the prep been done correctly.
    Other issues:
Incomplete job done whereby I had to go back & fix parts of their work due to a remaining long ridge in the paint in one bedroom, large poor spot that did not get painted well on 3rd floor & cleaning up paint that had spilled onto floor vent in laundry room.
Jeremy painted part of kitchen which made it worse b/c didn't match the rest of kitchen. He told me he wasn't going to "charge me for it" then did charge his full time at end of 2nd day.
Completely skipped painting 2 closets in one of the rooms despite pointing these out needing to be done.
Left garbage from job that I cleaned up as well as drink/food garbage for me to throw away.
Left the first day & not one of the 4 guys remembered to put the lid on the 5 gallon drum of paint (luckily I saw this & did so the paint was not negatively affected nor did my dog get into it).
As part of the "painting time" on 2nd day, 45 minutes was clean up time. Was not aware this counted as the painting time. May have been my misunderstanding.
Bracket broken in son's closet. No offer was made to replace the bracket.
I asked Jeremy a question & he proceeded to answer it by literally rubbing off the texture from my textured ceiling. I was shocked & asked why he did that. He told me he could fix it. So then he proceeded to "fix it" but the texturing didn't match my ceilings & the color was off.  Not happy about this unprofessional action by Jeremy.
Had to touch up same spot a 3rd time that I again had to point out as not looking good in the laundry room. Jeremy touched it up with my roller & my roller cover then gave it to me to clean it.
Was not impressed with their work.  Opted NOT to have them finish the job. I had given them a talk on the 2nd day how we needed to get the job done correctly the first time so they didn't have to redo things which was a waste of time & resources.  Hired other painters with better attention to detail & offering a higher quality of service to finish the work.
The guys were all nice but I did not receive the quality of work I was expecting. The lack of professionalism was disconcerting as well. In some ways, it ended up feeling like the guys made additional work for my husband & me to fix & that is not how it should be when you hire a "professional" to come into your home & provide a service.
Can NOT recommend this company based on this experience.

Falcone Crawl Space & Structural Repair
The crew was on time and started work immediately. Kept me abreast of the progress and any problems they encountered.
A portion of the estimated job was unnecessary due to the wood being solid, just covered with mold. They advised me of this and adjusted the amount due for the job. I give them a B for professionalism due to the smoking and cigarette butts left by the crew.
I have more work to due and plan on calling on Falcone to do the work.
