Dr Wendy Willoughby DDS & Dr Teresa Bare DDS
She gave me a written estimate of everything I needed to get done. She gave me an estimate of $1811. I thought it was outrageous. I was concerned about everything that she was telling me and I felt like I needed a second opinion. I needed my tooth pulled but Dr. Willoughby doesn't pull teeth but his colleague does. I went and got a second opinion, and request for my medical record. They didn't send them and they told me that they were having technical issue for 4 days. They hadn't bother to contact me. I went to another dentist and to have my teeth cleaned and I was only charged $83 which was a big difference. Dr. Willoughby was going to charge $267 to remove my tooth while the other dentist charged me $161.00. Her estimates were high and because I cancelled my appointment with them so I can go to the other dentist, she was going to charge me $75 for missed appt. They said if I don't pay it, they are going to turn me to a collection agency. The cleaning estimate was $1811 and for each tooth she will charge me $48 for antibiotic but the other dentist said I didn't need the antibiotic at all and he didn't use any, had my teeth cleaned and I did just fine. Dr. Willoughby didn't give me the entire medical record. She only provided a zerox copy of the x-rays. I would not recommend her to anyone.

WNC Dental J Randall Latta DDS & Associates PA
I was assured this was a "kid friendly" environment and dental practice.  I arrived to a block of wood with wire and balls on it and a few tattered books.  In addition, the dentist showed no personality or concern for the fear of my 2 year old.  Couple that with a rude receptionist who gave me the wrong address for the practice.  After 35 minutes driving around Asheville, I arrived at the office on time only to be kept waiting 25 minutes.
On my second visit, I arrived 10 minutes late.  Completely my fault.  My brother's baby was born in Greenville.  I was refused service even though the waiting room had 4 families waiting and the dentist was in surgery and wouldn't have seen us yet anyway.
There are many other dental offices in Asheville that are eager for patients and kind to those patients.  Use one of those dentists.

    Root, Dr. Jeffrey A.

Being new to the area, finding a new dentist can be a challenge, especially since I experience significant anxiety when going to the dentist (even for a routine cleaning). When I called Dr. Root's office about my concerns, the staff were very understanding and reassuring about their practice and my upcoming appointment. I was very impressed with the state-of-the-art technology used to assess the condition of my teeth and the gentle and patient care provided by Dr. Root and his assistant. I would highly recommend Dr. Root and his practice to anyone who experiences anxiety when visiting the dentist.

    Root, Dr. Jeffrey A.
My last extraction was done by a oral surgeon and I was concerned about a dentist removing a tooth, but Dr. Root did a very good job removing my tooth, it was cracked and broken also, he removed it with very little pain..
I was so impressed with him that I had him cap my two front teeth that had worn thin from age and looked bad. My friends noticed the diff. and I am very pleased with how they look and I smile a lot more now

Dr. Jeffrey T. Root is a great dentist. He's one of the best dentists I've ever been to. He fixed my broken tooth all in one visit. I was impressed. I left there extremely happy. I had to wait three and a half weeks for another dentist to do the same thing. He is efficient and has good equipment. The office has first class decor. For this little town, it's first class. It's very well decorated and very clean. Everyone there is very efficient. It's just a great place to see a dentist. If you need a dentist, that's a great place to go.

    Young, Dr. Matthew G.
I have had 4 cleanings and serious mouth re-doing to remove old, broken down amalgams from childhood that could be leaking mercury. Dr. Young's assistants all carry the same positive, listening and caring approach that he does. They were extraordinary in their care to ensure that every thing that was done with me was completely sterile, and that I breathed and swallowed no mercury, including special face and mouth shields and venting systems. I got to watch the machine generating my crowns that were done on the same day using CAD-like, highly precise modeling system. His patience in fine-tuning the fit of my fillings and crowns was EXCEPTIONAL. He was very flexible to ensure that my wishes were carried out -- perfectly amenable to my bringing my own blanket and a pillow and listening to classical music during the procedures. I've dealt with lots of dentists in my day, but I would characterize this one is world class. Worth the trip if you have to travel.

    Salazar, Dr. John A.
He is very professional and they get you in quickly. I have been using them for about 11 years now. They are very conscientious and they are very reasonable. He has been voted as one of the best dentist in all of Albuquerque. I would highly recommend him.

    Cozart, Dr. Wiley S III.
Dr. Cozart examined my tooth and said that I had broken a crown. He said that he would do a temporary repair. Dr. Cozart told me that the new porcelain crowns are stronger and better than the old ones. The next step, after dental ins. approval, would be to prepare the tooth for a new crown, put a temporary crown in place. In about three weeks the new crown would be ready for installation.
Dr. Cozart is very gentle and explains everything before he did the work.

    Cozart, Dr. Wiley S III.
He has been our dentist for quite a while. We have referred folks to him and I have never heard a complaint. There is nothing that we don't like about him. He has an excellent staff and he does very good work at a reasonable price. I am in Tricare for life and he honors that. He provides excellent professional service with an excellent staff.

    Cozart, Dr. Wiley S III.
He recently did some fillings for me. I have probably used him for about 25 years. He is very thorough and very knowledgeable. He stays interested in the dental field. He associated with School of Dentistry at Chapel Hill. He listens to people when they bring problems to him and tries to resolve the problems. His availability is excellent. The office girls are great. He spends as much time with you as you need and that is why he gets a little bit behind sometimes. His bedside manner is great.
