    Project Services Inc
Project Services replaced a water heater for me a couple years ago and did the job well and quickly. Unfortunately, this job went poorly enough that I am inclined to write a negative review. The counter was damaged during removal of the old machine but I understood that the new ceramic tile floor narrowed access so I was willing to overlook that. However, machine was not levelled and under-counter brackets were not installed so machine rocked forward several inches when opening the door. Serviceman returned and anchored the machine but was argumentative and resentful about our complaints. He never gave us an invoice, and said that since we planned on replacing counter and cabinets in a few months we should have left the dishwasher un-anchored.

They are very punctual about getting someone here to work on the appliances when I contact them. The only thing that I do not like is their followup. I am still waiting on the new fans to be installed and I have not heard anything from the installer or from them. I am going to call them about that today but their customer service is good.

After running the cleaning cycle on my oven, the convection fan came on and wouldn't turn off. An error code started flashing and beeping. I called R and C that day around 4pm. A very sweet receptionist took my information, and scheduled the service call. They ordered the part the next morning and came to replace the temperature sensor three days after I called. The technician was extremely friendly and finished the job in less than 10 minutes! They guaranteed that if the sensor didn't fix the problem or it recurred, they would come back and fix the issue without charging for a second service call. The service call was $75, which seemed quite fair. Much cheaper than getting a new range! The man also gave me some requested advice on replacing the new stove in the future. It's a tricky one because it has downdraft ventilation rather than a hood.

Credit card required when order for service placed. This should have been a flag as to the motivation to satisfy the customer.
When calling for service, not the best on the phone. Long holds. People don't seem to care that much that you've called. Semi-friendly. After service completed - in a vacation home- no follow-up. Had to call back to check. Took a day to hear back. Would have been nice to get some feedback: what was found, work completed, how fireplace insert left- at minimal temp-since winter, off, etc. What the charge ended up being. Here's an idea-Thank you for your Business!
When arrived at vacation home found the remote device to the gas fireplace to be oddly different from the remote we rarely used. Worn. Dirty. Sticky. and quot;Oldand quot; looking compared to remote that is ours.
Repair was done and unit was now working which was good. Old part left on mantel to show what was repaired which was good. No receipt or paperwork or number to call, etc which would have been helpful.
Called and asked about the remote. Thought perhaps that the tech might travel with a and quot;service remoteand quot; and understandable if tech could have mixed them up and taken our remote. Service rep called back and stated that the tech does not have a and quot;service remoteand quot; which strikes me odd-how can they trouble shoot a system without a service remote? Asked for help from management. A week later received a call that they can offer no help. If I want a new remote - full price. No concession. All this after buying a full house of high-end appliances and a service agreement on all of them - over $16k purchase in the last 7 years. Long term customer. Not feeling appreciated. Feeling/treated like a and quot;suspicious personand quot; for even mentioning this. So I guess since I am not willing to fork over another $149 for a new remote I will have to try to clean up the and quot;service remoteand quot; and live with it.
Overall-glad the unit working again. Not happy about the remote or the response from the service rep at the business. Should have heard from a manager/owner. Makes me want to look for other alternatives for future service and also future appliance purchases. Not going to recommend Sunrise to my neighbors. Will be seeking their input to see who they are using.

Very good Customer Service - prompt and friendly. He called in morning of the day of the appointment and told me what time he would be there. Diagnosed the problem quickly and ordered the part needed. Came back next week with part and installed.

    Joe's Appliance Service
It's Friday July 5th and the fridge is warm. Lowes has just scheduled me for Monday afternoon. I start calling names in the Yellow Pages. Two centers are closed for the holiday but Joe's Appliance Service tells me to "leave a message." I do and he returns the call within 10 minutes and is at my door 15 minutes later. The thermostat is fried and he has the part. Within a 1/2 hour the fridge is not only cold again, he's balanced it so it closes properly and recommended putting Vaseline n the rubber edges to insure a better close. When he first arrived, I was standing by the door. He said, "You must be the lady with the sick refrigerator." I responded, "Yes, and you must be my knight in shinning armor!" He was. His father funded the business and Dale, the son, had been fixing appliances since he was 12. His dad must be very proud of him. He was the best repair man I've ever had the pleasure of hiring. I took several of his cards. If my community had a wifi bulletin board, I'd put his contact information all over it. Thanks, Dale. I hope you and your dad see this.

    Aldridge Enterprises
The issue here is that there is that there is only person at Aldridge who can service the Buderus and he doesn't live in the area. Over the last two Christmas holidays we have been stuck for days in a cold house without heat. We have been unable to do anything but make an appointment for a visit after the holidays. This season we have now been without heat for 10 days. (The temperature last night was in the low 20s; tonight we expect the low teens.)  The heat went out on December 23rd. Several days after Christmas we had a service call and learned that a part had to be ordered.  (Again, it would have been nice to know that neither parts nor service for the Buderus were available locally.) The part didn't come Friday. It is now due today, but It is January 2nd, another holiday, and no one at Aldridge can be reached. I must say that the folks at Aldridge have been prompt, reliable and good to us in the past when we had an old failing oil furnace; but since upgrading to the Buderus we are more than a little disappointed.

He was running late and he came but didn't charge us anything. He let us know that he was going to be late. He was very nice and knew exactly what he was doing. I would use them again. I would refer them or recommend him for the service.

    Convenient Appliance Service Inc
Given the design, the whole electronic board and the housing had to be replaced so the part was quite expensive. This design foul-up was Jenn-Air's problem, not that of the appliance service. The first call was made as soon as possible, the part ordered and an installatiion time scheduled professionally and as quickly as possible. The old housing was somewhat difficult to remove (again, Jenn-Air seems to be denying that any part can fail so did not take fixing this thing into account when designing the range ). The old was taken out and the new put in with imagination and care.

The work they did was competent, professionally done, and the price was fair. The workers were courteous and friendly.
