    I purchased a "deal" awhile back (in March) and then did not need to use it.  When I cancelled my original appointment I was told the deal would be available for use anytime in the future.  I called them yesterday to schedule an appointment for them to help me with my new laptop and my appointment was scheduled for today. 

    Thomas called on time and we discussed a few issues I was having.  He told me he would "look around" my computer to see if it had any viruses or other problems.  I watched the screen while he conducted quite a few scans and thoroughly checked out my computer to be sure there were no viruses, etc.  When he was finished he called me back and I asked him to help me set up my email account.  I had tried to set it up many, many, many times on my own and it would not work.  Of course Thomas tried one time and the email immediately loaded. 

    Thomas then spent some time going over programs with me and giving me good information and education.  He was very patient and detailed.  He made sure I had no further questions before we hung up.

    I was extremely pleased with this company and Thomas's help.  I will recommend the company to friends and I will definitely use this company in the future!

    Our computer was hacked by some kind of virus and was not working properly. A friend of ours uses Lowcountry Technical for their computer monitoring and highly recommended we contact West for help. I am so glad we did. Not only did West get rid of the virus on our computer, but he set up our computer to be remotely monitored. Now if we run into future problems he can alert us and fix them before they can cause real trouble to our computer. The virus had removed our printer completely, and in about 5 minutes, he was able to figure out that problem and reinstall our printer- all remotely! I also asked for assistance with burning our digital home movies to DVDs. He was able to look at the program we have on our computer, learn how to burn the movies, and teach me how to do it. He also sent me an email with step by step instructions- truly helpful to me since I am not very computer savvy. I can go back to these instructions every time I need to. About a week later, our web browser was not displaying websites correctly. I called West and he quickly signed on to our computer and fixed this issue. We feel so good about the remote monitoring and management of our computer. It is a great price and gives us real peace of mind that our computer will not be infected with viruses again; or if it is, they will be found and fixed right away. I would highly recommend Lowcountry Technical to anyone in need of any type of computer service!

    I brought my PC desktop in to be checked out. Several days later they called and said the Windows operating system was corrupted and needed to be re-installed. When I went over to get my PC back, I asked them to start it up to assure me it was okay. Instead, it was doing crazy things. They said they would check it again. A couple of days later they called me again and said it was the hard drive failing. So it took a few more days to install a new one. When I went back, they started the PC one more time, and this time it worked great. I have had no problems since then.
    they copied most of my files in a separate folder ; all that was missing was some programs. Fortunately I saved the installation files for these programs, so it was easy to get them back on.
    The price seems fair. My only real complaint is the delay and having to make an extra trip to the shop.
    The morale is, when you bring your computer to a shop to get repaired, make sure it's working as it should before you take it home.

    Shawn gave me advice on how to fix the problem based on what I described over the phone but I was unable to fix it. He just happened to be on his way back south and stopped in to perform the service within 1 hour of when I called him! He's very professional and knows his stuff. If I ever need repairs again I will definitely call him. Awesome service that didn't break the bank!

    After hours on the phone with a major computer company's offshore service organization, as well as with the operating system software company, & the anti-virus software company, we were ready to throw the hardware at the wall,& cancel all our service contracts with them. We are not complete idiots with a computer, but are not experts either. We've been using these toasters of one kind or another since the early 80's when we both worked for Digital Equipment. We called Computer Fixers, & they came out the same day! He spent about 2 hours getting all four computers & the wireless network with printer working again. Great guy, easy to work with, good communicator, & good listener. There is a minimum $80 dollar onsite charge & a $15 trip charge, but to anyone who has spent mega hours on the phone with the giant computer companies with their supposed good service, it was a bargain! I'll call them again instead of paying good money to another company for ineffective service! These guys are a

    Bob Habjaniac handled the contact and did the work and was very patient and professional with me throughout the process, explaining what he was doing and why at each step. And, of course, the computer worked when I got it back! Looks like we have a good working computer and were not charged for the re-visit. Very nice of them
