    JENKINS APPLIANCE SVC
2 Service technicians came out and removed the water pump. Stated something fell out of the pump that was potentially clogging it. While one tech was reassembling the washer the other was taking payment. After the washer was reassembled and a load was ran the washer was still not draining. It was mentioned that new pump would need to ordered and they would call the next day with a price. Two days later we still have not heard from them even though we paid 75- for the call and 40- for labor. We quickly ourselves ordered the part online for 40.00 and will install it ourselves.  Waste of the 40- in labor. Not dependable.

    RPW Appliance Service
I put clothes in the washer, turned it on and walked outside.  When I came back it wasn't running so I checked and it was full of water but I couldn't turn it on.  Checked the breaker, no problem there.  I got on Angie's List and, since it was almost noon on Friday, I was frantic to find a repairman.  I called and left messages at two places, was told by a third they couldn't come until Monday afternoon and then my phone rang and it was Tim from RPW.  He said he'd be here in 30 minutes, which he was.  He found the problem, repaired the switch and was on his way within a half hour.  Start to finish it was less than an hour and my washer was humming along as if nothing had happened.  I was so relieved!

    123 APPLIANCE REPAIR
I contacted 123 Appliance through Angie's List. I was contacted about 30 minutes later by the scheduler and was nicely told that the technician would call, let me know an approximate time of availability, then call 30 minutes prior to arrival.
The technician, Ron Salmond, did all of these things. He was genuinely friendly, and knowledgeable. He quickly determined that the unit had power but was doing nothing with it. He replaced the ice maker and it has started producing ice.
I thought the pricing to be fair for his travel, rate and the ice maker unit with one year warranty. I used to be a technician and I understand travel time, etc. People don't seem to understand that these technicians have to drive a vehicle which has to be serviced, leased or bought, insurance paid, etc. Then there is training for the technicians, which may or may not be locally provided.
I thought that this experience rang true to 123 Appliances' advertising on their website. This was a very good experience, and Ron was a major contributor to that experience-thanks Ron!

    Joe's Appliance Service

I called Joe's Appliance Service this morning thinking I would need to schedule a visit in a few days, but he was able to come today.  I thought I had a leak with my washer and Joe took it apart and discovered there was nothing wrong with my washer.  The air conditioning unit in my apartment (in the same closet) was leaking and water had pooled under the washer.   He showed me the leak and suggested I record it with my smart phone so I could show the apartment management that it is in fact leaking.   He put the washer back together and did not even charge as much as his normal service call would have been.  Joe is extremely professional and courteous.    I recommend him very highly and if I have need of any other appliance repairs, he will be the only person I will call!

    123 APPLIANCE REPAIR
They were great. They are my appliance repair people for as long as we are here. They are what you hope to find when you call an appliance repair company. They are honest and do a good job. He was very personable and knowledgeable. He knew what he was doing and he was on time and very reasonable.

    Joe's Appliance Service
Joe was great....I talked to him last night, explained the problem, gave a model number and Joe was able to come out around 11.30 this morning, with the part in hand, to fix the heating element in our oven.  Great service!!

    Sears Appliance Repair
Repair of refrigerator started in August. 12 repair visits later . Some were no shows...others were continued diagnois and part replacements - trial and error . They seemed to be guessing at what the trouble was with each visit a different service repairman who did not know what the previous repairman did or why the particular parts were ordered. Additional damage by the repairman to my refrigerator door and my floor. My icemaker was repaired by replacing "mother board". Icemaker stopped working 4 months later. ANOTHER service call to be told that the replacement part was bad and I would need to buy another $400. part and pay labor to install (approx $600.) Company only warranties parts and labor for 90 days.

    123 APPLIANCE REPAIR
We called and left a message regarding dishwasher repair. They returned the call promptly and were friendly and helpful. We were advised that because of the age of the appliance, it would be better to replace it than to fix it. Saved us the cost of a service call.

    Joe's Appliance Service
I was away for a 4-day weekend and upon my return I went directly to the grocery store.  I came home with fresh food about 6 p.m. only to find my refrigerator was warm inside.  I immediately consulted Angie's List, called Joe, and he came directly over, even though it was a national holiday and well past dark at that point.  Joe had the necessary replacement part on his truck, he switched it out with a smile, and was in and out of my home in less than an hour.  Another day and the entire contents of my refrigerator and freezer would have been a total loss.  He's a superhero to me.

Excellent initail contact:  Actually diagnosed issue over the phone based upon LG error codes.  Parts pre ordered (both delivery and price expectations set up front and properly met).  Repairman showed up and fixed problem within the expectations set.
Repairman was extremely professional (James), courteous and competent.  Could not have been a better experience.
    Oustanding company with exceptional people.
