AAppalachian Air Care LLCFirst we had our ductwork cleaned and sanitized. Second we had our basement walls and overhead beams cleaned of mold and needed concrete block repair/sealing. FABULOUS job. The crew is amazing. They are honest and trustworthy. They take care to keep us informed every step of the way. They installed a dehumidifier and explained everything about the operation. I was blown away by the Professionalism, Expertise, Work Ethic, and Friendliness of the Team of Todd (Team leader) Ashley, Jalen, and Jason during the two days they were here to correct the damaged foundation of my home. As some with 28 years of Human Resources Management experience, I was particularly amazed by the way each member of the team worked effectively and efficiently without task supervision and in spite of 90+degree temperatures and high humidity. AAppalachian Air Care LLCKurt at Appalachian Air was very responsive to my initial inquiry returning my call within just an hour or two. He promptly kept the initial appointment to meet at the property and throughout the process keep me updated each step of the way. We met for a walk through of the property after his crew finished. Here again, he arrived promptly and answered all my questions. He and his crew took a very unhealthy home interior condition and returned the house to healthy livability. I so appreciated Kurt's professionalism and courtesy. It is difficult these days to find a contractor who actually does what he says he will do. AThe Mad Hatter Air Duct Cleaning & Chimney SweepI called them on a Monday, mentioned that I lived out of town and would be in town on Thursday and Friday. They were able to schedule me for Friday. I had a sudden death in the family and called to reschedule. They were so kind to reschedule me for Thursday since I had to attend a funeral on Friday. They were exactly on time. They covered the floor in front of the fireplace. When they left the fresh air was so refreshing coming from our super clean ducts and they had cleaned up everything.- Deborah C.

AMy 1949 chimney had lots of disintegrating mortar joints. No known water leaks yet, but I wanted to prevent that. The company seems professional & reliable. Very nice folks to work with. Kept me in touch on schedule & arrival time. Would hire again. I have to presume the repair job is correct; it looks good. Price was reasonable--in between an ultra-high "rebuild the whole thing" quote and a low ball quote from someone who never followed up.

FThey contacted me immediately and we set a date and time for a appointment to get a quote and then they never showed up or called. I took time off work to be home for the appointment and not only did they not show but they didn’t contact me at all to give a reason for not showing, that to me is a red flag I would not recommend this company to anyone

AI've never had my ducts cleaned so wasn't sure what to expect. Seemed like a fairly straightforward cleaning. Technician made some decent recommendations and pointed out a few issues with the system. He pulled a bunch of lint out of our dryer vent so I'm looking forward to a more efficient dryer as well. Would recommend to others.

AI hired Edmisten to install and obtain the permit for the HVAC system. Since I had a 544 square foot condo it was more complex because I didn’t want too powerful of a unit that would shut off too fast and leave to unit cool but humid. Kael from Edmisten researched and found the perfect system that would stay on long enough to cool and dehumidify the condo. His workers installed the unit without problem and they explained how to use the system. I would recommend Edmisten Heating and Cooling.
