    American Home Shield
    Worst warranty Co and they sent you the worst contractor as well! Placed a call on 05/26/19 because my AC was making a loud noise and fan not working. They sent me a contractor (Air Agents Heating and Cooling) that didn���t even fix the problem and this company charged me $450. So called American Home Shield and was dispatched to India because I had a hard time understanding. First they told me that I had to pay for another service fee because the work order is closed! Asked for a supervisor and she said they would escalate my issue to some ���contractor department��� and I asked to be copied on that email and was told it is not possible! I am out $550 in total and nothing is fixed not to mention 4 yrs I have been paying American Home Shield! I am dropping them!

    This contractor was sent by American Home Shield so I didn���t have a choice! Technician showed up on 05/29 and I explained the issues. AC unit was only working temporarily due to the loud noise and fan not functioning properly. He told me there was water in the unit??? One week goes by where I had to call them everyday to get update and one day, I am told that I had to pay them $450 before scheduling me because he will need to flush out the system and put the refrigerant back in and this isn���t covered by AHS. So I paid over the phone. Same guy showed up for maybe 45 min at the most to do the ���work���. AC seems to work fine but 24hrs later, the loud noise and the fan issue came back again and we had to turn the unit off! Called them and they refused to come back out because they need another work order from the warranty company! We paid them directly $450 for something that they didn���t even fix in the first place! Also they never gave me a receipt or an invoice and my husband and I have called them repeatedly...

    I have been involved with multiple major home renovations and have a lot of experience in dealing with contractors (own rentals) and have worked with multiple trades over the years. We recently moved to the state, so all my prior contacts were no longer valid. I met with 9 contractors to for an extensive attic remodel that would require multiple trades (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry, Finish Carpentry, drywall/pain, etc) I figured that I would start rebuilding my contractor portfolio and wanted to see different design ideas, pricing, turnaround times... That's how I met Lynn and the gang! Out of the 9 contractors that I met, 7 quoted out the job and gave their ideas on the remodel. Prices varied widely but most of the contractors designs were generic. Lynn was the only one to think outside the box and was able to gain us an additional 70sq ft, where all the other contractors wanted to take the cookie cutter approach (straight knee-wall all the way across the room). She also has an eye for design and loves to take wasted space and turn it into usable built-ins and eye-catching design. She was the only contractor to bid that wanted to remove the small builders grade windows and install larger windows to increase the natural light in the attic. I know what you're thinking now... how much more did that cost? Answer --> nothing! She was middle of the pack on her pricing and we received so much more than every other contractor. Also, she will give you options to help with costs. She gave us the option of keeping a skylight or tube lighting to add additional natural light to the new bathroom, or saving $500 if we didn't want it (we kept the skylight)! There are a ton of little things that I can't go into that Lynn and gang do that add value! They used foam insulation (which on paper is more expensive) but the other contractors were going to have expand the roof framing to add enough insulation to meet code. We got a much more efficient attic and noise reduction on top of it :) We had friends that completed an attic install also, and they are blown away by the fit/finish that we received vs. their attic. From the built-ins to the storage bench seating, I'm so happy with our space and knowing we got our $$$'s worth! The only complaint I have looking back is how long it took to get our quote. Lynn was one of the 1st that I called to quote but was the last quote I received. I know now that it's because of the design and actual material costs that they use to get an accurate pricing. She will actually draw-to-scale your design and will use that drawing to submit for building permits. It definitely takes longer doing it this way (especially when some people would submit their quotes next day) but in the end, if that's all I have to knit pick, you are doing something right! Thanks Lynn... you and the reno gang did awesome work!

    After a year of searching through the many, many HVAC companies I chose Comfort Pro and I am glad I did. From the time I called to schedule through the actual maintenance has be nothing but positive. Ms Dawn, who scheduled the appointment was kind, patience and professional while entertaining the many questions I had. My appointment was with Albert and what a nice man he is. He checked out my system, taught me a few things about how it was set up in my home. He found a part that needed to be replaced and ask me if I wanted it done. I trusted him and said yes. He even convinced me to join him in my attic to see the rest of my system. I am glad I found him and joined his Comfort Club so I will see them again in the spring. Don't hesitate to give them a call.

    We had a very negative experience with Carolina Comfort Air. Despite the fact that they claim on their website that 'all their technicians complete extensive background checks', the truth is, they sent a habitual felon, who had been incarcerated for over 11 years, into our home. He stole 5, heirloom, irreplaceable rings. Carolina Comfort Inc, who initially assured us they would 'make this right' if their employee was found guilty, not only refused to speak to us as the details unfolded, but did not reimburse us for the stolen jewelry, or even offer an apology; instead threatened us with a Cease & Desist letter, bullying us to not share our story. As their ex-employee has now been convicted of felony larceny, for the jewelry he admitted to a District Attorney to stealing, while employed at Carolina Comfort, is now facing up to a several more years behind bars... our story is going to be told. My intent is to prevent other families from going through a similarly awful, traumatizing & dangerous situation, that Carolina Comfort put us through. Here are the facts that I think any potential customer should know: *The employee that Carolina Comfort sent into our home is a 'habitual felon' (per his criminal report.) I was able to find the criminal report online, for free, in about 30 seconds, once I had his name. There would be NO reason for any responsible employeer to not have this public information. (Especially one who performs ���extensive background checks���. *The employee that Carolina Comfort sent into our home had been released from incarceration less than 6 months, before entering our home. *The employee that Carolina Comfort sent into our home had spent 11 years, 8 months & 25 days incarcerated, prior to entering our home. *The reasons for this time behind bars includes: (repeated offenses)habitual felon, possessing of stolen goods, worthless checks, felony breaking & entering, larceny after breaking & entering, forgery, dwi & drug possession. He has a total of 29 'offenses' on his criminal record. I was also informed by the detective on the case that this man was also a member of a violent gang. *He is now serving time behind bars for 3 other recent larcenies, in addition to the felony committed at our home. *Carolina Comfort spoke with us the day we were robbed, as I reached out to them immediately. They assured us, they would 'make this situation right' IF their employee was found guilty. After that conversation, up until the current moment, they have refused to speak to us. They have not apologized. They surely haven't made anything right, despite countless opportunities. We have not been compensated for our jewelry or been offered any measures, to keep our family safe. *Instead, Carolina Comfort sent us a Cease & Desist letter, threatening us if we shared this story via reviews, social media or word of mouth. As a mother, I am horrified to know that Carolina Comfort gave a dangerous criminal, free range of our house, potentially endangering our family & home. This is anyone's biggest nightmare & greatest concern, letting strangers into their home. The safety of our home has been compromised. Our priceless jewelry is gone. Our daughter will never receive the heirlooms we were saving for her. As terrible as our experience has been, I hope by sharing it, I can at least prevent others from experiencing the loss & trauma that we have.

    This company has serious problems!! They claim to do preventive maintenance, but when you follow up on what they did, you will find all kinds of issues afterwards. I had them do preventive maintenance on my units before and they drills holes into the panels, they don't clean up the condensation lines like they are suppose to, and create unnecessary air leaks in the PVC pipes. In my situation, they failed to clean up the condensation line and my HVAC ended up breaking down. I had to call them to come do a repair. After their tech did the "repair" and collected payment from me, the tech left for their next repair job; I found the A/C was blowing, but there was no COLD air. So the tech had to come back the next day and ultimately, I learned that their Preventive tech didn't clean the drain lines and that was the root cause of why my HVAC system broke down. I tried to dispute this repair with their office, but they refused to take responsibility in the preventive maintenance. They are VERY unreasonable to deal with. Once they got your money, you better hope they really fixed your issue or did the preventive maintenance properly. NEVER USE AIR EXPERT AGAIN!!

    2 visits and A/C was not repaired. Called for a 3rd visit bc A/C still not working and company was going to charge a trip visit just to reassess, per the CSR. Service manager would not speak to me about the charge bc she was in a meeting. I canceled appt.

    I would highly recommend One Hour Heating and Air. I have used many providers through the years with mixed results, but have found Bobby and his team to be extremely professional in both their interactions with the customer and in the quality of their work. I have had them seal my crawlspace, upgrade some duct work, and maintain my heating and air. Great team, and great job!

    I contacted Alexander Heating and Air to fix my water heater on Wednesday and they were scheduled to arrive on Friday. The team of two arrived on time with smiles on their faces. The heater's Pressure Reducing/Pressure Regulating Valve (PRV) valve was bad and caused my whole house water pressure to be very low. Also, I had excessive water trickling on the garage floor from the overflow pipe (due to a defective expansion tank. It���s the expansion tank���s job to take on this ���extra��� water caused by thermal expansion). Jeremiah, who did most of the talking explained what was going wrong with my heater, explained my options, provided an estimate, and explained that my specific water heater was about at the age that it will likely need replacing. It was good to know as I can now get my finances in order to eventually get a new one. He even explained financing options to me should I want a new heater and need financing. The two were friendly (did I mention Jeremiah is a Veteran), knowledgeable, worked quickly in the heat (they had to go under my house), and cleaned up and were finished in no time. The price charged was very reasonable, especially considering that I couldn't water the lawn properly, showers in house with low pressure was awful, water flow on garage floor would ultimately cause floor damage, and I didn't have to purchase a new water heater, yet. I really have had such good experiences with Alexander for several repairs they have made for me in the past, too My water pressure in the house is back to normal! I am more than satisfied with Jeremiah and the Alexander Heating & Air team.
