  Primarily, the humidifier had stopped functioning.  They ended up replacing the humidifier with a much better unit. |Additionally, the blower inducer motor, while still functioning, was beginning to draw abnormally high amps, indicating potential failure.  Since we were getting ready to move, we elected to replace it to make sure everything was in good shape.  All the work went well.  There was a small hiccup with the new blower inducer motor and the old motherboard not initially playing well together.  They came out again and checked it after I did a restart, which had evidently solved the problem.  They did hit us for another service call, which I was surprised by, but I didn't sweat it, as it wasn't that much of a charge.|All in all, I was pleased with the service.

  He's always punctual. He's very knowledgeable, too. He comes in and he does his thing very quickly and gets the job done correctly. He gives you advice on anything else done, a time frame of what you needed or when you needed it to get done. He's very good. I've never had any problems with them. They put in our furnace and our air conditioning and we've used their services ever since.

  Apparently my humidifier was working, but they changed the filter along with some other tests.  I couldn't understand why they were doing all these other tests.  As it turns out, they have a minimum of one hour charge, so they were doing things to justify the cost.  otherwise it would have been $80 for a 15 minute call.

  I have furnace which is about 6 years old and I started having problems with it firing about 3 months ago. I called a local HVAC company to troubleshoot my problem and repair the furnace. Well, 5 hours and $500.00 later they had it repaired, I thought. When I asked what the problem was the repairman was very elusive and would not give me an answer, Well to make long story short, I started having the same furnace issues about 3 months later. Determined not to use the same HVAC company I went to Angie's list and looked at the reviews, then made my choice. The first visit the repairman made lasted about 20 minutes and he had my furnace working again at a fraction of the previous HVAC companies cost. Well the story doesn't end there. I started having an issue again with the furnace a few days later. I again called the HVAC company, talked with manager and told him what I had been going through with my furnace. He assured me they would get it fixed for me and would send a technician right out. Tom, the technician called and said he would be out shortly and there would be no charge. He diagnosed the problem in about 30 minutes, charged me nothing and took the time to walk me through exactly what the problem was. He gave me a mini course on furnace operation and some easy preventative maintenance tips. I would definitely use them again and would refer them to anyone who wants a good, dependable, honest HVAC service provider. Kerry

  He (Tom) came to the back of house were AC is. told me who he was and name. Started in to find out what the problem was. Found the problem and fixed same. Was a switch. Did his job very well. :-)
