We needed to replace our kitchen and bathroom flooring in our third floor apartment in a hurry, and Fred made time to get it done for us. He picked up the flooring from the hardware store, brought it up to the third floor, and installed it flawlessly within a couple days. Can't speak highly enough of his work ethic, workmanship, and integrity.

This place has gone downhill with new ownership. They aren't responsive, and they miss all the details that come with a job done well and on time. I used to love this place. Now I just miss the old owners and will be shopping for a new company.

Trevor with TLC Flooring was great to work with.  We really appreciated how he explained the whole process before he started the job.  He is very professional and guarantees his work. We have used him several times for our personal home - hardwood, carpet, and ceramic tile.
We will not use anyone else!

Trevor Carkeek with TLC Flooring did a beautiful job installing our carpet tile in our accounting office. We have used his company before for our home as well (carpet, hardwood, tile). He completed the job timely and we really liked that he explained the whole process to us before he began. We were comfortable leaving him in our office unattended as well.

Christine was awesome to work with. The Finstead's hard wood installers, Francis Poole and crew, did a great job. Project was on time. The carpet seems to be a really a good product, and was a good choice. However, the new grey maple hard wood flooring is a game-changer. It is flat out awesome. The Kentwood pre-finished flooring fits together really well. Very few bad pieces in a box. Big thumbs up on it.

Christine at Finstad's was great to work with. She took the time to help pick out all of the tile for our house which included laundry, mud room, bathrooms, and custom showers. She helped pick out accents that worked well with the theme of our house. She even helped pick out paint colors based on the tile and carpet we chose. She went to the house to get an idea of the space before she placed the order to ensure she ordered the correct quantity and make sure the colors worked together. The carpet installers were top notch. One piece of carpet was not perfect, so the installers did not proceed with installing, they had Finstad's order a different piece. They care about quality.

Finstad's Carpet One has been our go-to resource for decades as we remodeled our older home. Their variety of products makes remodeling a delight - who can say that very often? The staff there have treated us so well with advice, suggestions, options, and installation service par none. This remodel was no exception. From start to finish Janene offered ideas, websites we could research and delivered samples to our home. Her and Ed's home visits were critical in getting exactly what we wanted. Newly retired, we hoped to find an excellent product at a value we could afford. Janene found our product, and Doug gave us a very good deal. We must mention the professional installers at Finstad's. We've not had good luck with the "buy the product here and find your own installer" arrangement. Janene did all the managing of calendars and changes by phone, text and email, and the installers she provided were great. Todd and especially Tom were organized, careful and professional, prompt and, in the end, real artists turning great products into dreams come true. Many thanks, and we'll be back of course.

On 08/03/2013 I entered the Carpet Garage located in Helena, Montana.  I picked out carpet for my home and paid for that carpet in full.  I also picked out ceramic tile for my home.  The tile I decided on was not completely in stock at the Helena store and had to be shipped from Great Falls.  I paid $500 to carpet garage for the tile and specifically told the manager (Ron) that my
contractor would be in that afternoon to pay for the balance of the tile and to pick up what they had in stock.  I also specifically told Ron that I had already given my contractor the money for materials because this was an insurance claim for damages caused to my home during a burglary.  I have a witness who was present for this conversation and Ron acknowledged remembering this conversation when I spoke to him on Friday. Later that afternoon, my contractor arrived at Carpet Garage to pick up and pay for the tile. However, instead of paying for the tile, my contractor asked Ron to hold a personal check for him for the balance of the tile because he was "moving some money around". Even though I had advised Ron the contractor would be in to pay the full
balance of the tile, Ron agreed to hold a personal check on behalf of my contractor for the tile I picked out earlier in the day. Several weeks passed and the check given to Carpet Garage for my tile was never cashed. I was never notified of this arrangement and that tile was listed under my invoice.
To make a long story short, the contractor was fired from my residence. He returned to my home, stole the remaining tile that had yet to be installed and returned it to Carpet Garage.  Carpet Garage returned the check to the contractor and accepted the tile as a return.  Law enforcement is involved and the tile that was stolen from my home is now at the Carpet Garage.  Admittedly, Carpet Garage broke one of their own policies by allowing product to leave their store unpaid for and now I have to repurchase the tile to complete my repairs.

His craftsmanship was good.  However, he was very messy.    The kitchen walls had been freshly painted with a light peach tone.   After the first day, there were numerous spots on the wall where he'd either bumped up against or placed his hands for support.  Further, when he got to the grout work, he'd slopped some of the grout mixture up against the door frames, failing to wipe it away.  Needless to say, it required a fair amount of touch up painting, as well as cleaning of the frames.  After he put the rubberized baseboard up, I went to inspect.   In the bathroom on the floor to one side of the vanity, lay a section, with glue already applied.   It appeared he was preparing to affix it to the wall, was interrupted in some way, left, and failed to come back to place it on the wall.   Fortunately,  my inspection was very soon after he left, and I was able to affix it to the wall myself.   In addition, there was debris from the job simply left in other parts of the job, that I ultimately had to take from the home, and dispose.
