  • I called for a bid, it was 3 weeks for my appointment Zach came out, my mother thought she may need gutters too, so they got 2 jobs on the same block. They said they were 2 week out, and with the 4th of July around that time they could not give me a specific date. They needed a down payment 1/2 before they would put us on the books. I ran right down and paid the down payment by check to get us on the books. My mother decided to add some more gutters, she went in to pay more on the down payment and was not informed that there was a 3% charge for using her credit card, she found out and asked to have it reimbursed that she could pay cash and was told, it's only a couple dollars. (Sorry for some of us on a budget a couple of dollars makes or breaks us). 3 weeks go by and I hear noting, I call, the gal on the phone said they messed up on a commercial order and have to go back out and redo it, it will be 2 more weeks and they will call 24 hours before they come. 2 weeks and 2 days go by, I hear nothing so I call them again, the gal on the phone seeming irritated by my call, she tells me that they ran out of down spouts and are waiting on them out of MN, MI someting like that and it will be 2 weeks. 2 weeks and a day go buy and we get the 24 hour phone call they will be there tomorrow. Thank goodness someone could be there they began unloading the truck and that was not the gutters my mother ordered, they were flimsy and cheep. They checked the paperwork and my gutters were the higher quality but were loaded on a truck back at the store, (we ordered the same gutters). They took this truck back to pick up the other truck, should have been 15 minutes there 15 back they were gone for 2 hours. They had shown up to work at 9, it was a good 45 minutes of discussion that those were the wrong gutters, when they returned with the correct gutters it was almost noon on a 100 degree day. In chatting the workers said that they were the only 2 workers, they do not have good communition between the shop and often get to jobs and there are details left off the work order that should have been discussed at the time of the bid and and it is difficult when they never know where or what kind of house they are going to work on until they get to work each day. They did not finished my mothers house until early evening and would come the next day to do mine. When they arrived the 2nd day for my gutters one of the men called in sick and somewhere came up with a "trainee". The workers did a great job on both houses, it looks wonderful. It has not rained yet so, hope it holds un in the rain. ( Both jobs should have been able to be done in the same day, as we had ordered the same gutters) Terrible communication with shop, but the men bent over backwards to make things right.) I I had not already paid the down payment after the 2nd excuse I wanted to go to a different company. both jobs below are together

  • I really like the owners. They were pleasant to deal with, even when we had problems. We did have some problems with the windows. They ordered windows that wouldn't work. It took a long time to get the right windows, and they had to eat the first windows. They weren't what they should have been. Everything else went smoothly, other than the windows.

  • ABC estimator, Fransisco (?), came out to the house in early November 2016 and took measurements. He said he would get back to me before Thanksgiving with an estimate and nothing. Early part of December, I called the main office (polite representative) to ask what was going on. He apologized and took my name and phone number to have Fransisco call me. To this day, nothing in the mail and no follow up with ABC Gutters!

  • I signed the agreement in September, they came fairly quickly to do the roofing. When they were in process,they ran out of shingles and the unfinished garage and shed sat for a week or so. During that time, I noticed they shingled OVER the satellite dish and cable. I also noticed nails visibly sticking out - when a roof is done correctly, you will never see a nail. Finally a different set of workers came over and finished up, "fixed" where the satellite dish was and hammered down the nails. It took until late November to get the gutters done, this company was going to replace only the one piece on the front of the garage (about 28 feet, when my insurance covered all gutters about 150 feet), they had a copy of the insurance estimate so there was no reason they should have been confused. You can decide on your own why they would do that, quite a price difference - they ended up subcontracting to another company. I watched them sign the paperwork for the other company to complete the gutter work - then that night the owner of the company fired the gutter company. Luckily for me, I knew the gutter company, they informed me and completed the work anyway. Great Falls Roofing knew the sheet rock had gotten wet and had agreed to replace it. Wet in September - untouched until November = black mold.... I ended up having to have mold remediation done. They tried really hard to shift the accountability to someone else. It is now the end of December. I paid $2500 down (my deductible was less than that). I do not have an itemized invoice from them so I cannot submit it to insurance to claim my recoverable depreciation from my insurance. The gutter company remains unpaid as well. Finally, I received harassing text messages from one of the employees, I ended up blocking him, but should have turned him in to the police for harassment.

  • It took a few weeks for their schedule to clear, but they called when they were ready and came that same day. The installers knew what they were doing and communicated clearly with us. We had one miscommunication come up, but the installers resolved that immediately. Very helpful workers. Left the place looking like they'd never been here.

  • It took him over a month to show up, he said the job would take two days it took 5 days for just the roofs (mind you those were half days, most days he came in with a small crew and worked 2-4 hours and left to not return until the next day).   His team left a huge mess, he has no regard for your property.  After the roof and gutters he disappeared and never came back, which has led us to Small Claims court to fight for money he was paid for work he didn't complete.     I wish I knew I had the right to hold back some of the insurance money and only pay him for the worked completed (lesson learned).   The final issue is he won't give up any final signed paperwork/invoice of what he has done which in turn makes the warranty he gives null and void.   DO NOT fall for the "what would you say if I can get your entire roof replaced for your deductible" ..... not worth the savings to deal with him.

  • Seams were not caulked the day job completed due to rain. Perkins did caulk seams once; rain revealed more caulking needed. Perkins in an e-mail May 23 said he would be over the next week to re-caulk--haven't seen nor heard from him since. Apparently I made a mistake paying him in full.
