    ***DO NOT USE AFFORDABLE APPLIANCE REPAIR***
    LG steam washing machine.
    I called the company to schedule an evaluation/repair service for my washing machine which would not rotate the drum. The "technician" arrived and began what I thought was going to be troubleshooting the issue. I told him that the drum would not rotate with a load in it. He went through the program menu to look for errors. When he found none, he called technical support. Here were the issue began. Even when I told him that it would not spin with a load, he placed no load into the washer to verify the problem. Technical support had no resolve for the technician when he called, though he gave them insufficient/incorrect information to go on. He finally made a guesstimate of what the issue may be. He wanted to order three different parts for the machine. I had asked him if he could verify the VAC and amps of the motor and the accompanying parts which he thought were the issue to verify that they are indeed bad. He said he had no multimeter. HA? How can you troubleshoot electrical issues with no multimeter. I even gave him a schematic of the electrical system for the washing machine, he was definitely clueless. He said the parts might take at least 7 days to relieve. After he left I took the machine apart, following basic electrical schematics of the unit which it came with, through amp/voltage checks I found the electrical system to have no issues. The mother card, which he said was at fault= $250, was not the issues neither was the sensors. I found a mechanical issue which i ordered the part on line for $60 which fixed the issue. Long story short, I contacted the store and they said he was a seasoned technician of 20 yrs plus--WOW. They still made me pay for the service,70bucks, and were very unfriendly and unprofessional. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! In my experiences they are highly unqualified and unprofessional. All they do is "SWAP TRONICS" to try to solve the issue at full customer cost.

    I have had them out about 4 times. They don't know what, they fix it, it works awhile and then it stops working again. They were able to come out the next day. They seemed to diagnose the problem quickly and it does not take long to get the parts and fix it.  What they do appears to fix it, but its not lasting. They usually give me a two hour window and are in the middle of the window.

    I joined CP through a referral from our local gas company. The monthly fees for this are automatically added to my monthly gas bill so it is very convenient.

    I have been with CP for several years and have always had EXCELLENT service.  I have never been made to feel guilty that I have a problem with furnace, washer, dryer, etc.... I call and let them know there is a problem. CP gives me an authorization number and I can use the business I choose to fix the problem.  I schedule the appointment for the repair and after the  problem is fixed I give the repairman the authorization number and THEY bill CP. 

    The employees who answer the phone for CP are always very courteous and professional and I appreciate that THEY appreciate my business :+)

    Our dryer stopped working... so we called them to come out. The technician spent at least an hour trying to replicate the problem, but of course the dryer had started working again. He ordered a part that he thought might be the problem... but told us to try using the dryer to see what happened. It's worked like a charm since then. They returned the part at no cost. He put a lot of effort into trying to see what the problem was.

    I was extremely pleased with the service that was performed. The technician arrived a little early. He got right to work on the coupler after determining the problem and even discovered the aggitator problem while ensuring his work was performed properly. I would certainly recommend Eklunds service department for this type of need. He only charged for a 30 minute service call which was $60.00 and $13.00 for the parts.

    Called on Friday June 29th and was told they could not come until the following Thurdsay. I let that slide since it was a holiday week. I moved all of the contents of my large freezer to a fiends house to save it. He did come Thursday as promised, but said he did not have the part to fix it. We were currently moving out of the house, so we left the freezer behind until it could be fixed. They sent us a bill the following week for $206, which I paid. It is now August 27th and the freezer is still not running. I have called 3 times and each time I am told they will call back and they never do. The contents of my freezer are still at the friends house and I have moved 20 miles away and still do not have my freezer. The house where the freezer is is now sold, so we have to move the freezer without it being repaired.

    We called to make an appointment on Monday, and and appointment was made for Friday. We were told the expect the repairman between 9am and noon and that there was an automatic service fee of $60.. The repair man arrived at approximately 9:15am on Friday. A courtesy call would have been nice that he was on his way, but he was punctual. He behaved very professionally. He took time to listen to what I had to say. He turned the machine on and realized the machine wasn't draining. He explained to me the mechanics of what happens when the drain is clogged. He took about half an hour to fix the washing machine. When he was done, he explained what he had done, clearing the drain, and showed me what he pulled out. I only had to pay the service fee, which was a pleasant surprise. He put the back cover on (that my husband had previously removed) and put my laundry room back together better than the way he found it. He left no mess. Very professional, in and out, and I felt comfortable having this person in my home.

    I called Dean on Monday afternoon and he said he could be to my house by Thursday at 10:00. He called on Tuesday to say that he wanted to be on time and wondered if I would be home at 1:00 on Thursday (no waiting around for us!!). 10 minutes before 1:00 Dean called to say that he'd be to my house in 15 minutes!
    Fridge was fixed in no time, no mess was left behind and they even vacummed under my fridge! New timer came with a 90 day warranty and a 3 month labor warranty. Yay!

    If not broke when try to fix one cant fix it. Got cost estimates to repair so that we could make an informed decision 2 days later to buy a new machine.
