  • We wanted to do the work ourselves, our bank had different ideas.  Because this was a Fannie Mae home, we had to get a licensed contractor to bid the job, then we put the money in an escrow account till the job was done.  Contractor had to sign off on all the work then bank would send out their inspector/appraiser.  After approval, our money would be released to us.  Tom Russell of Tom of All Trades not only agreed to give us a bid, he volunteered to coach us when we needed it or do any work we couldn't.  He always answered calls promptly, made trips to the home regularly when needed and was always helpful.  He didn't give us anything but honest help when needed.  He was great! Our neighbors use him for work all the time, he does great work too!

  • He has been fantastic! He is very helpful. He is always willing to answer all of my questions and supply with all samples needed. He gets the work done quickly and is very efficient. He gave me the best bid out of three companies.

  • Overall pretty good. I felt like he was rushed. He was painting my dining room in between another bigger job. It took him 4 weeks to finish. I had to have him come back and do touch ups. He was very professional. I just think he was very busy.

  • Everything went smoothly. They spent 2 weeks in the fall working and then had to quit because of the weather. They came back this spring and finished laying the sod and adjusting the sprinklers. They are an extremely professional company and we will continue to use them whenever we have any lawn/sprinkler issues.
Bob Broughton is who we worked with to plan the job and who coordinated everything for our job. He is very knowledgable and easy to work. He is always very responsive to calls and concerns and came out regularly to check on the guys who were doing the work.
Overall, a very professional and great company to work with. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the Bitterroot Valley or Missoula who is in need of landscaping/sprinkler/lawn work done.

  • They did a great job. We had just had new sod and sprinklers install shortly before they did the work. They were able to refill all the trenches and holes to almost perfect condition so the landscape company was able to easily reconnect the sprinklers and relay the sod. The ground was starting to freeze so it was extremely hard digging and a lot of it had to be done by hand.
Dale and his company are very professional and they took great pains not to dig up anything they didn't have to and to ensure they didn't damage any of the new sprinkler system. They are very professional and friendly and we will continue to use them for any septic or excavation needs we may have in the future.

  • I found Matt with AAAA Carpet Cleaning of Missoula through Angie's List.  We spoke over the phone and he was very friendly and seemed more than willing to answer all of my questions and concerns.  I then asked him to give me an estimate.  After talking to my husband, I called Matt back and we scheduled an appointment for the following week.  Matt came to our home and was faced with the task of cleaning 3 rooms of carpet, large area rug and living room furniture which is all approximately 12 years old.   Needless to say, he had his work cut out for him.  I had cleaned the carpets periodically over the years with my own carpet shampooer but it was never professionally done.  My micro-fiber couch and love seat looked horrible.  I wasn't sure if there was any hope for them.  Matt was awesome and amazing!!!  He was prompt, professional, courteous and very pleasant to work with.   He assessed the task at hand and explained to us what he was going to do.  He went right to work and did a fantastic job.  The results were absolutely amazing and so much better than I ever thought possible.  Matt is a man of his word and the estimate given to us up front was what we paid - there were no extra costs or hidden fees.  I will recommend him highly to any and all of my friends, co-workers or anyone else in need of his services.

  • It went well.  I called on 8/29/2013 and they came mid morning on 8/30/2013.    The weather forecast was good for only evening showers.    The sealer was dry by the time we got a very light shower that evening.  We did not drive on the seal job for 24 hours as instructed.  I will have them come back when the driveway shows the need with cracks and etc that need sealing.
One of the current  company partners sealed  this driveway in 2010 with the company name of Grizzly Seal,  He is now a partner in Grizzly Asphalt. This 2010 work was the first seal job on the driveway which was paved in 9/2008.
Do be sure to check the weather forecast and make sure you have enough time for the seal coat to dry before any rain.   In this case I had about 6 hours in the high 80's and a light shower did not completely cover the surface as the  6 hours ended.  Discuss the time needed with the Grizzley Asphalt provider based on the anticipated forecast and temperatures.

  • Gary and his crew are very professional in every aspect. They are courteous, efficient, knowledgeable, and are a joy to work with. We knew within the first few days that we had the BEST General Contractor to do our work and would not hesitate for a second to hire him again or to recommend him with highest accolades. His contract was fair and well laid out and it was easy to understand every aspect of the job. Gary has a crew that seem to have mutual respect for each other and work well together. Gary does a fantastic job as the General Contractor and is excellent at keeping the work flowing smoothly from contractor to contractor. He not only "runs the show" but does excellent work as one of the main demolition, framing, painting, woodworker and finishers. (By the way, Derek, Gary's right hand man, is awesome in his own right!) Gary is a stickler for keeping a clean and safe workplace and we were impressed at how hard he and Derek worked at that aspect of the job. I wanted to hire them after the job to do my housekeeping!
Gary is very proficient at his work and has a fine eye for what will look right and what won't. He knows how to make a remodel all come together so that the original and the new blend together seamlessly. He is willing to listen to the homeowner's concerns and give direction and insight where it is needed. He helps the homeowner "see" the end product and helps in the decision making process if asked.
I would hire Gary Nash in an instant for any projects we may have in the future!

  • We just bought a late 70's house that has been vacant for a few months and was a foreclosure, we had no history on the house. We noticed extremely low hot water pressure in the upstairs shower and some leaking under the upstairs bathroom sink. I called another top-rated plumber and then Anatoly to compare rates and availability. The first company charges $88 per hour and Anatoly charges $75 per hour. The other company said they would only come to the house if they were going to do the work when they got there and they were 7 days out on availability. Anatoly said he could stop by my house the next morning on his way to another job to take a look and let me know what he thought we were dealing with. He said it would be the following week if repairs needed to be done, but at least we'd know what we were looking at. He showed up a few minutes before the scheduled appointment (very rare here!!) and was very professional. He took a look at everything, pulled off a couple of the faucet screens and explained what the build-up was we were seeing. He evaluated the hot water heater and found it to be in good condition. He took a look at the leak under the bathroom sink and said a nut just needed to be tightened (which he did). When we showed him the problem with the hot water pressure in the shower, he immediately knew what the problem was - the fixture that turns the water on and to hot/cold needed to be replaced. He explained in detail the necessary steps to do that (turn off the main water to the house) and recommened which brand to use. He said he would be happy to do the work and gave us a quote, but he thought we would probably be able to fix it ourselves if we wanted to.

  • Gary is a delight to work with. The job went smoothly and was professionally done in every aspect. I would hire Gary in a second for any new building or remodel I may have in the future and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a General Contractor. Gary not only manages the job with utmost professionalism, but is a master craftsman himself. He has an expert eye for detail and will make your house look better than you ever imagined.
