  • Great. They were very careful and respected our property. They were prepared because I forgot to tell them about the lamps that they needed to pack as well as a few more things. They worked very hard.

  • They seemed to take a lot of care in putting the appliances where I wanted them.   We still had snow on the ground, so it was a tricky business. They took particular care of picking up some clothing items at the cleaners that were cleaned, and really packed them well and organized it well so that they could be put away in the cabin.  That was a big help.  They couldn't get a larger van into the cabin area because of the snow, so that was a little bit of a drawback.

  • These guys are excellent. Very polite, answered questions quickly, prompt with both email and phone calls. The initial bid was accurate. During the actual move, the were gentle with everything. They protected the carpet and the doors in the house. They wrapped even the smallest of furniture including a child size rocking chair. Nothing was broken during transportation. They reassembled everything carefully. A truly great company.

  • First of all, they didn't rent a large enough truck, so we had to get a trailer to tow behind it. A crew of 4 loaded the truck and decided to place a washer and dryer on top of a 2 year old wooden dining room table. When unloading the truck at our destination, they discovered the table leg was broken and the pedestal cracked. The crew leader apologized profusely and promised to get the table repaired and back to us in 2 weeks. We called 3 weeks later and were told the repairman had to order some wood to fix it. We waited 3 more weeks and called again. The first appointment for delivery was made for a few days later. I waited around all day for his arrival and he didn't show and didn't call. The next day we called him. He said the repairman had "family problems" and was not around to pick up the table. He said he would get with the repairman and get the table to deliver that day. Another appointment was made to deliver and not kept. His excuse this time was he fell off a ramp and spent several hours in the ER. Another promise was made to deliver the table - no show, no call again! In all, 5 appointments were made to deliver the table and were no shows and no call was made to cancel. By now, we can't get a hold of the crew leader - turns out he no longer works there. We suspect there's been lies and excuses made that weren't true. We call the repairman and learn that the table was not repaired until one week before the last appointment and he owed him $135 for the repair - so why did he promise to deliver when the thing was not repaired yet? After many voice messages that were not returned, we finally reached him on his cell phone. He says, now, that the table was not repaired properly and he didn't want to return the table in that condition. He would file a claim with his insurance company and reimburse us for the cost of replacing the table. We were to write a letter asking for this reimbursement, which we did the same day and mailed it to him. Another 2 weeks passed and still no word. We had to make numerous phone calls to him and finally reached him. He said the insurance company "didn't blink an eye - the check was in the mail." More than a month later, no check. We have since been unable to reach him in any form. The repairman no longer has the number we reached him at before, so he's disappeared. We can't find any of the crew that moved our stuff and we've already paid them for the move itself. I called the court clerk and it was recommended that I take him to civil court after sending him a certified letter of my intent. That was done and I received the receipt with his signature on it. I now have the papers ready to submit to the court. Still no check. No way would I recommend him to anyone. I've been tempted to call the police to get my table back, but it would still be broken. His business practices are shoddy and reek of fraud as he probably has the insurance check and kept it for himself.
