Concrete Repair reviews in Billings

  • All the jobs went very well. Isaac and his crew showed up on time and worked long days prepping, forming, pouring and finishing all the work. The tricky spots were handled well and they were able to finish in a timely fashion. they worked well with the excavator and carpenter. I am so pleased with how things went, I am going to Have Isaac and his crew replace all the old concrete in the front of my house ( driveway and walks) new year.

  • Elkhorn did an outstanding job from start to finish. Their bid to replace our driveway was significantly lower than the competition. Final price was exactly what they quoted in the estimate. The old driveway was ripped out and a new one poured in two days. This is a family owned business that takes great pride in their work. I highly recommend this company.

  • They finished the job, and I had asked them to maybe do a few small jobs around the house for me, they agreed and did not charge me anything for the extra work. So I asked them to build a guest house for us, and the work they did was absolutely outstanding. The best I have seen yet.

  • Nestor, the owner if Maple Falls Landscaping, met with my husband and I to get an idea of what we were looking for. He brought plenty of literature and answered all of our questions. He have us a quote and a time frame for the project. We agreed and put half down to get started. The employees were friendly and hard working. Nestor was available throughout the project to answer any questions and make sure the work was going according to plan. He was easy to talk to and make additions and changes that I requested as we went along. It took a total of 5 weeks and my entire property was left looking absolutely amazing! Maple falls is versatile and can do all of the parts of landscaping needed from start to finish. I worked them only to get everything accomplished from start to finish and that made it all go very smoothly. Excellent people, excellent service, excellent product.

  • Contractor got the job on 3/25/15 because he said that he could start the next Monday (3/30/15) and have it done by the weekend. Nobody showed up until 4/3/15 for a few hours and 4/4/15 for a few hours, and they took out the sod (not all that they were told to) and moved some gravel in.  After 4 weeks of promises to pour the sidewalk, they finally showed up on the last day before we were going to fire him.  He was supposed to dig out the dirt and grade it, so that the sidewalk would be somewhat even with the ground. I was not home when they poured the concrete, but they didn't dig out or grade any of it.  The sidewalk is uneven, the edges are already crumbling off, there was a crack through it after 4 days, and the material they used to patch it doesn't even match the existing concrete.  Since they didn't dig out the dirt, the sidewalk sticks so far up that we had to cut the gates so they'd close.  On the last day, the contractor was going to come back the next day and clean up the mess he made (large chunks of concrete next to the sidewalk and outside of the gate).  Unfortunately I paid him and we have not seen him since.  It is going to cost us quite a bit to fix his mistakes, plus the time that he's already put us behind on other projects and contractors we had lined up.  He told us nothing but lies for 4 straight weeks, and he's not professional at all.  I would not recommend him for any job, large or small.

  • Blu was very punctual, professional. He explained exactly what he was going to do and what he was going to use and why he wanted to use the materials he wanted to use. He was very knowledgeable. He told us how long it was going to take, what we should and should not do until it cured. He cleaned up when he finished and left the place looking like he found it. Yes I highly recommend this company for your concrete needs.

  • Pour quality of work; didn't follow what customer wanted and was agreed on; made a mess and destroyed area around concrete and did not clean up mess or repair things he broke, very angry with help and customer.

  • Retaining wall would have fell over in as little as 10 days if I didn't have it taken down. Consulted other contractors and two engineers and they all agreed the wall was grossly under engineered and was leaning almost 12" off of plum. Turns out the engineers found a lot more problems with the design and construction as well. The contractor also failed to pull the necessary permits, and in fact did not try to get a permit and never asked for one from the city. City inspectors have never heard or inspected his work. I tried to work with the contractor but he didn't care. He had my money and said if it falls to call my insurance company and make a claim. I eventually had to sue Elkhorn Concrete and Paul Meyers. I finally got a settlement check this past week. This guy is a fly by night concrete contractor. My first red flag should have been when he had to rent the frames for the wall. Amazingly, he accused me of paying the engineer to say what I needed him to say. I get a second engineer recommended by the city planner. Needless to say, this guy should be digging ditches, not constructing anything more than lincoln logs. It's amazing how many people he must have fooled. He makes big claims about his company and experience, all of which have proved to be false.

  • At first Bob was attentive to his commitments, but was slow to finish at the end.  All went well with his initial explanation of our situation and proposed solutions to the finishing of the concrete.  Bob had a hard time finishing the details and lost a lot of my confidence at the end.  It took over a year to get the job finished.

  • They were the last to deliver a bid and quoted me a mis-measured roof price compared to the other bids. They were off by 800 sq. ft. which is 25% more than was actually there, but their price was more than double what I paid to the contractor I did work with. They delivered their bid by e-mail several days after I sent them an e-mail telling them I had awarded the job to someone else. They just seem to be and quot;winging it.and quot; They only reason I invited them to bid was the good reviews here on Angie's list. Maybe my case was just a series of mistakes, but that's what happened to me. Someone else got my work.
