I telephoned and left a message for Michael Wayt on 9/16/14, and he called back immediately. I explained that I wanted to consult with him in person about planting several trees and shrubs in my yard. He said he would call back the next day to schedule an appointment, which he did. He arrived on 9/19, on time, for the consultation. He was knowledgeable, professional, and personable, and, from my perspective, our meeting was a success. He provided lots of helpful suggestions. He said he would draw up a plan and estimate for me in about a week. (There was no urgency about getting the plantings done; I was shooting for sometime in November.)

Michael's initial proposal arrived via email on 9/30, and over the next few weeks he and I exchanged questions, answers, and ideas via email and telephone about what specific shrubs and trees we should plant. Eventually, I sent him my final list, including a couple of landscaping tasks, and he sent me a quote of $1,775.

My list: Extend by 3 feet an existing low, brick border; provide and lay 6 stepping stones; transplant 5 existing shrubs; dig up and discard 2 existing shrubs; provide and plant 6 new shrubs; provide and plant 1 small crape myrtle; and provide and plant 3 trees.

Michael and two assistants arrived at 8:15 on 11/4 and completed all the work by 12:30. One additional thing they did was to take the sod that they had removed to dig holes for the new plantings and plant it in areas that needed an infusion of healthy grass. All the planting, transplanting, and landscaping was done carefully and attractively, and the crew then watered all the plantings. Thankfully, they did an excellent job of cleaning up afterwards.

Michael was a real pleasure to work with throughout the process. Not only was he professional, knowledgeable, and personable, he exhibited a good sense of humor. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again for future plantings and landscaping. My only suggestion to Michael would be to answer all emails. A few times, I had to follow up my email with a phone call because he hadn't answered the email.

The final cost was a little lower than the quote because I (rather than Michael) purchased 4 of the shrubs at a local nursery, and Michael provided some mulch and transplanted the sod (see above), neither of which had been included in the quote.

Jae and Jesse came out to inspect several areas of my home due to concern over a possible foundation or structural problem.  While they were later than our scheduled appointment time they did call early to let me know they would be running late, which I greatly appreciated.  When they arrived they were very courteous and professional.  They quickly worked through their assessment and measurements explaining everything to me as they went.  My home is new and still under warranty so they prepared, along with my quote, a letter detailing their findings that I was able to submit with my warranty claim.  Jesse has stayed in touch offering assistance while I have waited to hear from the warranty company regarding coverage.  My problem is still ongoing at this time so they have not perfomed work at this time, but so far I have been very happy with their service and would highly recommend.

Prior to signing a contract I asked for some references and the installer gave me 4. I called each and went and inspected 3 of the installations. They seemed good and the people were happy.
Installation went ok. An issue came up about an agreed-ed upon Freeze timer. The installer told me the salt generator controller was also a freeze timer. It was not. After several phone calls someone appeared in my back yard without notice and he installed a freeze timer. Honesty problem.
8 Months after installation one of the long sides of the pool deck (Cement) began to sink. I called the installer and was reassured by the secretary (Tammy) that they would get to me ASAP, I followed up with an email. After 10 days I called again and again she assured me that I was at the top of their list. Now 3 weeks later they are not returning my calls and the walkway is beginning to break away from the pool.  I had a structural company come out and inspect the problem and they said the dirt my not have been compacted enough for such a load. They advised taring out the entire length of the walkway and replacing it. Knowing it is attached to the coping this may cause the entire pool top side to need to be replaced I am in an ackward position. Contacting an attorney. Integrity problem.
