Drain Cleaning reviews in Brandon

Real People ~ Real Reviews ~ Real Results

  • Steven B was here earlier than his latest time estimate (how rare is that for a service call on the weekend) despite a huge job nearby that he had been on most of the afternoon into evening. He immediately got to work, gave us all the information we needed to make a smart decision and performed the work like a pro. He will be back soon to perform other work for us. A+

  • Our drains backed up, we called Wright Plumbing. They found our main sewer drain pipe broke under the slab. They came and repaired it and did a fantastic job. They showed up on time, werr professional, courteous, efficient and fast. They took the time to isolate the room where they had to break through the slab so the rest of the house stayed clean. They took the time to clean up to the point that the only way to know they were there was the concrete patch they poured to repair the slab. These guys are the absolute best plumbers in central Mississippi.

  • This company was sent out by our Home Warranty company (First American) because water was backing up in the bathtub from the washing machines.  The tenants reported that when Draingo arrived they told them there were major breaks in the sewer lines from the house to the street and it would be $5,000 - 10,000 to fix it.  They were also showed pictures of the alleged breaks.  They did unstop the drains but charged $360 since they claimed there was no drain clean outs around the house so they had to go on the roof to do it.  (There is a perfectly visible clean-out that a three year old could find at the front of the house.)  The Draingo employee suggested that the tenants (and us) "create" some water damage in the house so the extensive repairs would be covered under the home owners' insurance policy.  Nothing like a little conspiracy to commit insurance fraud.
A second opinion was garnered from another plumber on 10/09/2015.  One small break was found in the sewer line that he estimated would cost $500 to fix.  Other video of the entire line showed no other breaks.  Bottom line, Draingo and the home warranty company will not refund money for this major sham scam they tried to pull.

  • First I called AHS to get someone to check on our water heater which was gurgling after using the shower.

Draingo came out and told me that the water heater was close to going out but they could not replace it until it broke. I read the AHS policy and that was true. Some how the drain to the overflow pan was damaged so when the water heater did begin leaking  some short time  later it leaked through the ceiling of our bedroom requiring extensive repairs. I would not use Draingo ever.

  • It was a nightmare.  We obviously had a leak, yet Skeen Plumbing could never seem to find it.  They should have had someone scope our drains the first time they came out.  They should have found the leak and fixed the problem immediately, but instead it took several attempts to get them to find and fix the blasted thing.  They told us that a new tub would only cost about $100 dollars and that the price to fix the leak and replace the tub would be $1,000 to $1,500.  They charged us almost $2,000 -- which includes $600 to remove the tub and tile and $685 to install the tub but not fix the tile.  We still don't know how much the total price will be since we still have to purchase tile and hire someone to install it.  I understand that plumbers are only human, but I believe that they could have done a much better job to find the leak and fix the problem.  They basically came out once to just look around a little, then came out the next time to really look for the leak, then came out two more times to finally fix the problem.  It seemed really silly and incredibly annoying to keep having to call them to find a leak that they agreed we had.
I do not blame them for not being able to fix the tile themselves, but they should have someone they can call to come out and replace tile when they take it out.  That would have sped up the process and provide much better customer service.  It really upset me to have them tear out almost -- but not all -- the tile, then leave it to us to get someone to remove the rest of the tile and replace it.  They essentially left the bathroom in a mess, which added insult to injury considering how long it took them to find and fix the leak in the first place.

  • Best experience with a plumber ever! I was scheduled for 1:00. They called at noon to say they were running late and would call when they were on the way. That's considerate. Both men were very polite & knowledgeable. I thought my main drain was clogged but it wasn't. It was something very simple. They explained everything they were doing (I wanted to know so I could fix it myself the next time). I will definitely use Neill Plumbing again! Highly recommended!

  • I have a home owners policy and they sent DrainGo to my house. Before even trying to unstop the drain, the man told me they would have to go in through the pipe on the roof. The home owners policy does not cover that and he told me it would cost $450. I told him I would not pay that and they should just leave. As he continued to talk he reduced the price to $250. I said "if you could do the job for $250 why did you ask $450? I don't remember his exact response but he said several things to me that didn't make sense. My conclusion was and is that he was dishonest. I don't make such accusations lightly but I feel confident in this assessment. A couple of days later, I was able to clear the drain with a simple procedure myself.

  • He has done all our plumbing for 3 years, everything from re-plumbing our old place to an emergency broken toilet service call in our 1 bath home.
He fixes it right the first time every time, and quickly.

  • They did not replace the anode rod with an aluminum rod as company reccommends.  This procedure cost almost as much as the tank did originally.  I contacted the manufacturer and following their instruction, flushed the tank again and reset the thermostat to 140 degrees.  The tank has operated  normallly since.
I don't know why I trusted them again but I called them again to fix the blockage.  They came out 3 times to fix the leak within 3 days before they finally fixed the problem.  However during these 3 days the house was flooded twice and they did not guarntee their work and charged me twice for essentially the same

  • Just great service. We had a clogged drain on our washer that I tried to fix and was not able to. They came out the same day my wife called and even she noted how nice, professional, and polite these gentlemen were. She noted that she was expecting something totally different, but was very happy with the service she received. We have some projects planned and we will be using them again when we do those.
