ADana KingI would highly recommend Dana King Design Build Remodeling for a remodeling project. We used them for both a master bathroom and a master bedroom remodel. Both rooms turned out absolutely gorgeous. I actually heard about Dana King Design Build Remodeling through a direct mail ad and decided to see what they could do for us and our master bathroom, which was in desperate need of a remodel. We had done remodeling projects in the past, some major, such as extending our previous house to add larger bedrooms and add a jack-and-jill bathroom. We’ve also done two kitchen remodels, a theater addition, lower levels, and a couple of bathrooms. Some of the projects we general-managed, and for others we hired companies, but either way we always seemed to have to manage and “sweat each detail.” Frankly we were so done with that scenario and wanted a complete turn-key operation. That is absolutely what we got with Dana King Design Build Remodeling! When we initially reached out to Dana King Design Build Remodeling, Dana came to our home with Meg, her design architect, and they talked to us. We decided to invest in the design fee to see their ideas and what they could do for us. We are glad we did! Dana King Design Build Remodeling had wonderful ideas and are the perfect mix between personable and professional. With any remodel project there are always issues and delays, and Dana King Design Build Remodeling addressed these minor problems promptly and professionally. Our master bathroom project did not involve moving walls, but did have a large whirlpool tub that needed replacing. The bathroom was completed in late 2019 and we are thrilled with the results. We loved it so much that we decided to hire Dana King Design Build Remodeling to do our master bedroom. I did not think they could outdo themselves, but they did! The master bedroom is spectacular, even more impressive than the bath. As a designer friend of mine said: “I don’t know if I could sleep there because I would want to stay awake enjoying it!” So true, and we agree. For our master bedroom projects we worked with Meg again, and with their designer Michelle. Their ideas and furnishings were over the top and incredibly stunning. They were both easy to work with and communication for both projects was through an app called Basecamp, where everything is documented and all parties involved are notified. Don’t worry if you’re not tech savvy, I’m not, and I figured it out. We could also contact them directly by phone or text, which I also did. The carpentry in the master bedroom, which involved beautiful moldings and “paneling look,” was done by Kent, who did a phenomenal job. Kent also supervised all the trades coming through the house: electricians, blinds, painters, etc. Kent was a pleasure to work with, very conscientious and an all-around nice guy. Dana King Design Build Remodeling followed all safety protocols for Covid-19, including masks, a washing station at the entrance, and sanitizing upon exiting. They were patient with us regarding delaying the project start date, as it was in March of 2020. Even though furnishings were ordered and delivered, they stored all items until we felt comfortable with starting the project. In conclusion, we are extremely pleased with the job Dana King Design Build Remodeling did for our master bathroom and master bedroom. They were not the least expensive, but we held them to high standards for the price paid and they followed through. No regrets!- Suzanne D.

They installed a beautiful shower with glass doors a vanity, toilet topper and laid the floor tile. I am very happy with their work and have already recommend them to others. The workers showed up on time if not early, cleaned up after themselves, and most importantly listened to what I wanted. AEverything went great from start to finish - I'm very pleased with the experience and their work! I wanted a general contractor type of company that could come in and just take my hand-drawn vision on graph paper to a fully completed project, and that's exactly what they did! I wanted to not have to worry about coordinating different contractors to do pieces of the work and have to babysit the process, worry about workers not showing up and throwing off the rest of the schedule, and have things drawn out over months and months, like we had done upstairs. My husband and I knew the kind of company we wanted would come with a higher price tag than patchwork contractors, which it did, but it was well worth it for the headaches and time they saved me!! They were always on time, highly communicative (which is very much appreciative and not always present in the construction business), and very pleasant to work with! They didn't even blast music like most construction crews, which made for the best possible experience having others in your home every day for several weeks. Even minor sticking points we ran into (couple of wrong parts ordered, door & schedule changes, etc.) were no big deal to hash out. Everyone always made time and was patient with answering my questions and addressing requests or concerns, which was awesome. Even when I was laid off after signing the contract and needed to find more work in a tough COVID-19 market so needed to delay the start date, Tom worked with me. They made sure we're 100% satisfied, which we very much are! The quality of work is great, and everything looks amazing as you can see in the photos below!

ARick and his team at Premier 1 Properties did an incredible job finishing our basement and staying under budget. We had a low, tight budget but big dreams. We received quotes from a dozen contractors and none of them could stick to our budget. Rick provided some solutions that would help us stay under budget and still have a really nice space. It is now the BEST space in the house. We will be calling on Rick again for our next renovation. We had a one-year-old at the time of renovation and it was in the middle of the Covid 19 Pandemic. Rick and his team were incredible with checking on us and letting us know in advance how our day might be disrupted by the work. They were considerate of sound levels when he was napping and so courteous of our home life, which we were still adjusting to ourselves. This showed us a lot about the character of Premier 1 Properties. They care about the quality of their work, but they also care about their customers and their experiences during renovations. I have included some before and during renovation pictures so you can see the drastic changes that happened in the basement.

AWe got a bid by J-Pro when we moved into our house and wanted to finish our basement. We decided to do another house project at the time, so we didn't move forward then. We held onto their bid as we were quite impressed with how detailed and clear it was as far as what we would be getting. We got 5 other bids in that 5 year period, and none of them made us change our decision from going with J-Pro. Going into a project this big is always nerve wracking, and Mike and his team were fantastic from start to finish! He gave us some great suggestions from the get go, was highly communicative through the whole project, and his team did a fantastic job! We love our new basement! We highly recommend J-Pro.
