ABirkenmeier & Sons IncWe hired Birkenmeir and Sons to install a sliding French door into a three seasons room, and we are thrilled with the results. Al and Bobby had to create an opening from the living room and cut through an exterior brick wall to create the space needed to install the door. They were extremely neat, made sure to clean up as they went, and communicated what they would be doing each day. The most impressive part was their attention to detail. They were able to match the trim in the interior as well as matching the trim and bricks on the exterior. The door looks like it has always been a part of the house. I would highly recommend Birkenmier and Sons for any remodeling jobs and will absolutely be using them again for future projects.- Nathan S.

He and his staff were very friendly and professional. The job looks amazing and we are so happy with it! With having an older home, there were some challenging areas and they knew exactly how to handle and fix the issues. While we won't list the cost, it was very reasonable compared to other contractors who bid the job. We give them the highest recommendation.- Tim G.

Him and his worker not only maintained a high degree of professionalism, was always on time, made sure they cleaned up at the end of the day, and finished the project in a timely manner. They took extra precaution during this pandemic outbreak to insure my safety by taking their temperatures each morning. AAssiduous Contracting LLCThe best contractor I've ever worked with! JR, Julie, and Reggie were extremely professional, always on-time, and did fantastic/quality work. Pricing was very fair and response time to questions or requests was very punctual. JR really cares about the work and is willing to take on new projects (even if hired for a different reason) to get your house in tip-top shape. He was also willing to come back anytime to get my house ready to sell. JR was able to pivot from our original project/bid to make the correct repairs (unlike other contractors) and actually saved me some money. Thanks JR, Julie and Reggie!- Peter S.

AMidwest did an excellent job on all aspects of the project. They were extremely knowledgeable on the work, provided a host of options, and were very competitive on price (vs. multiple other bids). One of the best aspects of the job was the quick timeline from bid to start of work (approximately 3 weeks vs. months for other contractors). I would highly recommend this company.

AMJM has quickly become our family’s go-to for any and all household rehab projects. Our relationship started when they installed a new roof in 2015: GREAT, professional work, no BS and fair pricing. We enjoyed working with them so much, my wife and I hired them to do the full gut rehab on our historic home in South St. Louis. They did everything: demo, carpentry, tiling, dry wall, you name it, all done to a high standard of quality, and at a fair price. Michael is an exceptionally trustworthy, communicative, and smart business owner. He acts as a partner and consultant on projects, and truly cares that your goals are achieved, and that work is done at a high standard of quality. That’s a rare thing to find in today’s contracting business. If you’re needing someone to do your roof/exterior, or help execute an interior renovation, you need to get MJM out for a bid. They left the job site clean each day and performed the work as discussed. The cost of the work was reasonable and was better than other estimates we had for the job. They stayed on budget. AEverything went great from start to finish - I'm very pleased with the experience and their work! I wanted a general contractor type of company that could come in and just take my hand-drawn vision on graph paper to a fully completed project, and that's exactly what they did! I wanted to not have to worry about coordinating different contractors to do pieces of the work and have to babysit the process, worry about workers not showing up and throwing off the rest of the schedule, and have things drawn out over months and months, like we had done upstairs. My husband and I knew the kind of company we wanted would come with a higher price tag than patchwork contractors, which it did, but it was well worth it for the headaches and time they saved me!! They were always on time, highly communicative (which is very much appreciative and not always present in the construction business), and very pleasant to work with! They didn't even blast music like most construction crews, which made for the best possible experience having others in your home every day for several weeks. Even minor sticking points we ran into (couple of wrong parts ordered, door & schedule changes, etc.) were no big deal to hash out. Everyone always made time and was patient with answering my questions and addressing requests or concerns, which was awesome. Even when I was laid off after signing the contract and needed to find more work in a tough COVID-19 market so needed to delay the start date, Tom worked with me. They made sure we're 100% satisfied, which we very much are! The quality of work is great, and everything looks amazing as you can see in the photos below!
