AThe Grout DoctorThe Grout Doctor provides grout cleaning, grout sealing, caulking, tile replacement and grout tile care and maintenance. Our need was for the grout cleaning, sealing and caulking of our 4'X4' ceramic tile shower--walls, floor and ceiling. I found this company on Angie's List. I decided on this solution to our shower's problem after investigating the option to just steam clean it or to cover all the tiles with a epoxy paint. Aaron was our salesperson/technician and did a good job of explaining everything he would do in the process. On the day of the job he arrived on time and began his prep work. Since there would be sanding to remove old grout he covered everything in the bathroom with plastic sheeting to keep dust out of the walk-in closet and bedroom. (We left a window open to exhaust out dusty air.) Afterwards he wiped down the tiles with a solution to prepare the shower walls for re-grouting on the next day. He also cleaned up after himself. The next he arrived on time to re-grout, caulk and seal the tiles. The grout color matched the tiles well. We were able to use the shower again in 24 hours. I'm very💕 pleased with this service. It's been a year since the work was performed and the shower still looks as good as the first day. That's saying something since this shower sits in a tiny bathroom with no exhaust fan. I was worried I'd have to do something more invasive to save my shower. Total cost was $1,000.00.- KATHY P.

AHandyman Home protection LLCJohn did an excellent job!! He had to take out an entire shower, redo some of the plumbing, then tile the whole thing back. He made sure all of the plumbing was fixed correctly. He worked patiently to get all of our tile, accent pieces, pebble shower floor, fixtures, and shelves installed perfectly. He had to align spots in the wallbord to get the tile to lay correctly. He took his time to do it right and did a beautiful job. He also fixed a variety of other plumbing, etc issues we had. I highly recommend John and will use his company again.- Sherry R.

CWe did a moderate sized bathroom remodel. Initially, things went well. We ordered it before the holidays and were not surprised when it was not scheduled to be done until after the holidays. The contractors doing the actual work - Robert and Josh - were excellent. Very respectful, professional and prompt, working the hours they told us they would be here and keeping us updated on where they were at each step of the process. The product was excellent, we are pleased with the final look, although we still do not have the correct finish on the shower door and glass. We were NOT happy with the communication from the salesperson and site supervisor. The salesperson was to get back to us and the additional contractor we hired for painting and flooring in the MBR, which he failed to do. Initially, Bordner told us they would order the flooring for the master bedroom when they ordered the bathroom flooring, but this did not get done and neither we nor the contractor were notified until into the end of the 2nd week of the remodel. This caused a delay in our flooring being laid by > 1 week because it was a special order product. In addition, the initial order for the shower glass finish was incorrect when sent to the glass company. This caused further delays and we were without a functioning shower in the master bath for > 3 weeks.

AWe had a great experience working with Armstrong Kitchens. Kristeen was very helpful in designing the kitchen in our 1920s home. In addition to replacing cabinets, countertops, and adding a sliding door, we removed several walls, upgraded lighting, electrical, and plumbing. Kristeen made design suggestions that saved us money without sacrificing the look I wanted. The sub-contractors were great. They were knowledgable about working in an older home and always arrived on time and cleaned up at the end of the day. We love our new kitchen and highly recommend Armstrong Kitchens!

DUnfortunately I had a bad experience with Dean. We agreed on a master bathroom remodel that was to include a new shower, shower door,, granite sinks, and faucets. There was one mishap after another which included installing a shower that I did not want and ordering a shower door I didn't ask for. After the sinks were installed the original faucets were left there despite the agreement that new faucets be placed. My front door knob was broken and I wasn't informed. I found the damage when I returned home. Dean offered to repair the knob but was unable to install it. After the incorrect shower was installed we discussed a plan to install a shower I wanted. Of course this came with a new estimate. When I asked for an itemized estimate Dean requested payment for the sinks and faucets and said he'd email an estimate that was itemized. He hasn't sent the estimate. So now my master bathroom is still in the demo stage. The sinks and faucets are complete and nice but the plan was for a remodeled bathroom. The sinks are the only reason a D was given instead of an F. The shower isn't complete and I can't shower. And the wall paint was scrapped off during the demo and the vanity mirrors were removed during the job and not replaced. My bathroom is a mess and now I have to find another contractor to complete the work. This has been really stressful. I'm assuming he bailed because he made costly mistakes that affected his profits. The lack of professionalism and poor communication has resulted in a home owner's worse nightmare.

AScott and Kenny did an amazing job from initial planning to completion. This was an enormous project: 20' x 40' deck, 10' off the ground, all cedar, cable railings, and waterproofing the underside with corrugated aluminum. AIf you choose Mountain Construction for your remodel of any size on your home you will not be disappointed by the slightest! Everything from Glenn's crew showing up on time daily to cleaning up end of work day was consistent. From the electricians, painters, plumbers, tile setter, to counter top company was nothing short of professional. Glenn and Rob (carpenter) checked in at least twice a day would inform you what was happening daily and what your job was weekly to go pick out (the exciting part for any home owner) Seeing changes daily was always happening and so fun! I'm a stay at home mom (my husband works quite a bit being away from the home) and I always felt so comfortable with everyone in and out of my house, there was never any awkwardness.
