Took pictures to show us some areas of concern in our furnace and suggested we should be thinking of replacement in next year. The furnace is over 15 years old, so this is not a big surprise. We have a maintenance agreement with Anthony’s, so there was no charge for the check up. The replacement of the humidifier water panel was $87.00. That included parts, labor, and tax.- Cynthia D.

AMidwest Heating Cooling & PlumbingMidwest replaced my 23 year old Lennox home HVAC system with a new, top of the line, high efficiency, Lennox system for a reasonable price. I was impressed with the fast, free, custom tailored, detailed estimate, the ability to have the new system installed within just a couple of days, and the speed and quality of the installation team. The estimator (Tom) arrived just two hours after I called, was very personable, very knowledgeable, and helped me select the right components at the right price (with guidance about unit costs, efficiencies, energy savings, rebates and tax credits) to match my criteria. I liked that he had many years of experience, and he went above and beyond to make sure my new system (which replaced a broken system) was installed before an upcoming cold blast. I received two other estimates, and they did not go near as well, with a generic good, better, and best high priced estimate (without input from me) from one company, and another company selling only units from lower quality manufacturers. The installation team started at 8:30 am, and went right to work. They also had many years of experience, and were ready for my walk-thru at 3:00 pm. They did a great job in a short time. Nice! Overall, I can highly recommend Midwest for home HVAC system installations.- Steven D.

FOctober 2020 reached out to Neal Harris based on reviews and TV ads to service our AC. Decided on the initial call that the cost of a service visit that getting their service plan made sense. Came out and discovered that our AC unit was bad and that our furnace unit was going out as well. They presented a plan for replacement...way too expensive. Compared their purchase option to a competitor and saved thousands of dollars. I asked that they cancel my service plan. Stated they would. I was told there was no charge for today's visit. Later I received a bill $139 questioned it. The person on their call center stated they would look into this for me. I had to follow up three times and was told to hold off paying the bill. Still was not getting a clear answer. Finally, today was told they charged me for a service call and they failed to cancel my service plan...billed me three times. I paid what was essentially for an estimate for repair and was billed three times for their service plan on top. My advice take your business somewhere else. The Advantage Program in my opinion is a Rip Off. You will pay for a furnace for several years, then they will want you to renew the program. Yes it eliminates a big upfront bill. However, its a better investment to refinance your home at a lower rate, pay once and not pay twice as much for HVAC.

FThis was our worst appointment out of 9 bids we had lined up. The rep that visited our home did not answer any of our questions or would only answer with a canned ‘marketing’ answer. He also made comments about how if we installed this window it would NOT increase the value of our home, which is something we hadn’t even brought up or asked him about. He also made some rather rude comments as well. Also, their bid for ONE window was TRIPLE our average bid from 8 other established companies and was the only one that did NOT include a window well cover!
