    I called to submit a claim on 6/30/16. Just 24 hours later I called to check the status due to a holiday weekend coming up. Shortly after the second phone call an email was sent. On 7/1/16 the contracted repair company came to my home to service my a/c unit. Within minutes of submitting the problem with the a/c unit to Choice Home Warranty they sent a response back to order the parts. Due to the holiday weekend parts were unavailable so we had to postpone repairing the a/c unit until 7/5/16. The weather had cooled down so it wasn't a problem for me.    This contracted company was very informative about the a/c unit and thoroughly explained the issue. I was very pleased with Choice Home Warranty's provider choice. I am not fixed yet but this was my first experience with filing a claim since I have been with this Home Warranty company and am still very pleased. Thank you for being so prompt to send out a repairman and for responding so quickly to their evaluation of my situation. Carleta McKenzie

    Workman came out and replaced board on receiver. Also replaced worn garage light cover. Very efficient and friendly service. He also installed an outdoor entry remote for me. I paid a fee for that. Otherwise the only cost was $100 flat fee. Everything was scheduled through the website and live chat. Easy!

    Although it took several phone calls between me and the company, everyone I talked to were professional, courteous and always reassuring and helpful.  A person working with the company, Dave Burris, came and did the measuring and ordering of the materials needed for the replacement of foggy windows and in ordering a crank that had gone bad.  He was also the person that came to install the window replacements and is a very nice man to work with.

    The technician was dressed very professionally.  He was friendly and professional the entire visit. I stayed with him throughout the entire repairs and he did not seem to mind, or feel uncomfortable with my presence. He answered all my questions to my satisfaction and explained why the system was not performing properly. He represented his company and American Home Shield in a very positive way. I would hire this company again!

    I've had 4 issues that have required me to use my new (to me) home warranty and each service call has been just fine. Call 1 was for a drain in my basement being clogged up, turned out to be a sump pump that I didn't even know we had and they (the contracted plumber) replaced it within 90 minutes as he stated it was cheaper to replace than repair, total cost $75. Call 2 was an electrical issue, the contracted electrician came out (within 1 business day) and fixed the issue within 20 minutes, nothing major as it was a loose connection inside the main breaker panel...I wouldn't have touched that with a 10 foot pole, total cost $75. Issue 3, the springs on my garage door broke...the contracted company came out at a time we agreed upon and both springs needed replaced. He called AHS and confirmed coverage on the springs (wasn't real clear in the contract) and indeed they were! Time to replace was about an hour and total cost, $75. This last issue was my garbage disposal not working (at all). I thought about just replacing it since it is about the cost of my deductible ($75) but realized that the plumber would install a new one if it was defective so I saved time by calling. Turned out to be just a clogged disposal which was remedied quickly and he (the plumber) showed me how to fix it in the future...this I should have know how to do but it cost me $75 to get educated. Overall I've very happy with AHS and just renewed my coverage for another year and in fact took out additional coverage for added peace of mind. The only thing I have to worry about is coming up with $75 for each service call which I'll happily do!

    The plumbers were great. Telephoned when coming, told what and why they did everything. They didn't even seem to mind that I watched them work. Very considerate and professional. Had them do some other work after this. Of course I had to pay for the extra, but that was fixed correctly also.

    edVery well.  Initial visit identified the problem.  As soon as the plumbing company was notified, they processed the service.  There was a bit of confusion with conveying authorization by AHS to the plumbing company.  I was waiting for the plumbing company to arrive, and they were waiting for confirmation.  After two weeks I called AHS, and they instructed me to call the plumbing company.  Then the process went along perfectly with getting the work scheduled, and completing the installation in quick order with efficient and careful services.
