  • We get all of our repairs and things like that done at Tim's. They are just excellent. They are very trustworthy, they have taken care of our vehicles for us for several years since we moved out here from St. Louis County. They were recommended by an acquaintance who we met out in Franklin County. There is no deception about what's wrong with our vehicles. They get us in quickly, they do what they say they are going to do, and when they fix our car, it's fixed.

  • Barreth Ford was a bright spot in an otherwise upsetting experience. While returning from vacation, a part failed on our brand new Ford Explorer. We were 600 miles from home. We were very fortunate that the nearest Ford dealership was Barreth Ford. Barreth Ford worked with the Ford Service Center to fix the part under warranty, and did everything they could to minimize our inconvenience. They were pleasant and understanding. They arranged for a rental car, and returned our Explorer on a flat bed truck. They coordinated the fix with Ford, and kept us informed along the way. We are very thankful for Barreth Ford!

  • The service I experienced at Purschkes was great! I went in to have a test in my tire looked at, they fixed the whole, noticed my other rear tire was low, filled it up and cleaned what I thought was a permanently fogged headlamp for free all while I waited. It was very quick and professional.

  • Fuller was great. I brought in the part and they were very thorough in checking other parts in relation to the bearing to make sure that there were no other worn parts. The work was done quick and the price was very fair.

  • took 2 vehicles in for the state inspections required . used them due to convience in location.they failed my 03 GMC envoy for error codes. that was fine I spoke with them and agreed to have them run a diagnosis for $70 . they told me that i had a bad electric fan motor on my radiator. My vehicle is not equipped with a electric fan motor on my radiator. I called them to clarify and asked if they ment the clutch fan? They told me no! it was the electric fan on the radiator. I looked up the code on google and found in fact it was the clutch fan and I replaced it. They told me I needed to drive it arround a little before returning it for the free retest. So i drove it 50-60 miles or so and returned it for the retest. They retested it and told me it passes except I didnt drive it enough and needed to be driven 100 miles . so I did then when i returned it they charged me an additional fee becoues the 3rd test
     wasnt covered.  I feel that they have poor customer relations and have a bad way of presenting diagnosed problems to me. perhaps the vague explaniation were  to get me to agree to more costly services becouse i didnt understand their mis diagnosed problem.In all i would not reccoment this auto repair facility to anyone!!

  • I was sent to SB Audio by Trenary Chevrolet due to my electric start not working on my Trailblazer.  Eric took my car in right away and fixed the problem at a reasonable cost.  The shop was very clean and nice to wait in while they did the repair.  I was told by Trenary that Eric was the best, and he was!!!!!!

  • Continued bad experience with service center and no response from management when service is either not performed or causes more issues than originally brought. Simple AC recharge and check for leaks, no issues other than needing AC general service. Die used could not be found for leaks, recharge did not hold. Would not re-fill without incuring full costs again. Contacted service manager, sales manager and general manager to be told that only the service manager could do anything and he would not even have another tech look at the AC unit. Had a third party inspect AC unit and several fittings were losse and now would not hold a charge without total replacement of AC unit.
    I will not recomend Barreth Ford, or any other Barreth center for service or car sales as no member of management ever tried to understand the situation nor even apologized for the issue nor any inconvenience.

  • I had a squeal in my front end whenever I turned the truck to the right, at any speed. I had had rotor issues in the past (with Lou Fusz---don't go there). My husband and I ran up to Modern for something else in his car and while we were there we talked to the service department about my truck. They were able to make an appointment for the next morning and we dropped it off early and was told it would likely be the afternoon before they could look at it. We left for breakfast and had a call regarding what the problem was and the price before we even had breakfast on the table (we went to a Steak n Shake 5 minutes down the road). They provided an explanation of the problem and gave a quote of about $308.00. I gave to go ahead to fix the truck and it was ready for pickup a little after 130. My husband and I have both had our cars serviced here in the past and really trust them. They are professional and courteous each time. My husband even trusts them enough to work on his 1977 Corvette. I'd recommend these guys for any work done on your vehicle.

  • Looking for a newer model of vehicle a couple of years newer than i had.I was planning a long distance trip and was not comfortable driving my old car since it had a lot of miles on it and needed a lot of mechanical service.If i could not get something better i was going get my old car repaired.Same sales person whom i did sales with in past avoided me for a week.Time was near when i had make that long trip so i decided get my car repaired.I spotted the same salesperson whom i always did sales with in past.I confronted him and asked why he was avoiding me and he explained he was very busy.He apologized and we discussed vehicles and what i needed.He showed me a couple on the lot and discussed features on them.One particular vehicle that i like had luggage rack,fog lights,Sync and keyless entry.I told him i did not want a keyless entry or Sync keep monthly payments down.He told me the company owned other lots around the area and knows of two other vehicles one blue and other red but didn't know if they were still for sale.We went back inside  looked on his computer see if there were.He called another company checking on the blue one and stated that is was sold but had red vehicle.I told him i was interested and he explained that he would have send his driver go and pick it up.I said ok.
    He also told me it would be a couple of hours before it would arrive on his lot so i should leave and he would call me when it arrived.Also he would fix the paper work so if i liked the vehicle all i had do is sign and drive off.Three hours have passed and time was not on my side so i went back check on the progress.Another sales man was in front and i  asked of his presence.I was told he is around.My sales person met me and explained it should have arrive by now.I was met by the asst.loan manager and was asked sign the papers get them out of the way.i said not at this time before i see the vehicle.He said if i didn't like the vehicle that i didn't have take it.I said sure that i knew how contracts work and if i sign it that i was in no way obligated for that purchase.The asst.manager said that i didn't have sign my title and not take the vehicle.All the pressure from him and my salesman i decided sign and get it over with big mistake.Vehicle finally arrived and one look and did not meet my satisfaction.Had no luggage rack,fog lights and features inside the vehicle were not equipped and i need install them myself.I test drove the vehicle stated i did not like it.Salesman said it was different from my other vehicle and over time i would get adjusted.Contacted Ford Consumer Representative about this matter and over a few months did not even get help with them.Seem they chose the dealers side.
