Deck Cleaning reviews in Springfield

They are probably in line with about everyone else. They have a crew that comes out to power wash and stain. They did the fence too. They did a fine job. I think there were three that did the job. It probably took about half a day. I think they power washed one day and came back to stain the next day. It was a clean when they left as when they got here. I think they were very thorough. The fence still looks good. The deck I will probably have to redo, but it gets a lot of sun.

No complaints. They performed the job to our complete satisfaction and we received numerous compliments from our neighbors. When i asked, they also gave us a senior discount of 10%. Very satisfied.

We were initially introduced to Seal Smart at the Builder's Home Show in Springfield, MO.  They claim to clean and seal decks and restore them to their original beauty.  We had the work done in November of 2013.  The deck did not look that great, and the weather turned cold so we decided to wait until spring to make a decision about contacting Seal Smart (since the warranty is for 25 years).  The deck was not restored to its original beauty, in fact it looks terrible. The demonstration at the show and the video online at their website leads one to believe that the product becomes one with the wood...filling in cracks.  Our deck is clean.  That part did work, but it seems that all moisture was leached from the wood. It is very dry and the knotholes have risen from the surface. There is no evidence that it has improved the appearance or strength of the deck.  It is definitely not worth the $1,297 bill.

In a nutshell, the process is very expensive and the results are not at all as advertised.  We have contacted the firm, but they refused to send a representative to assess the quality of the results.  They explain repeatedly that the product has bonded with the pores of the wood. If that has happened, it is totally invisible, and there is no way to dispute their claim.  I have written a report at the Better Business Bureau web site and I would strongly encourage others interested to read all reviews of their work.  I am very sorry I did not take the time to do that before signing the contract. It is an expensive lesson learned.

Nick was great. I don't think he stopped working from the minute he arrived until he left. And he took care of some things on the deck that needed to be repaired even though we hadn't discussed that. I was very impressed.

I contacted All-Trade in December of 2011. They responded quickly, and came by my house to prepare a bid. We then scheduled the work to be done in February of 2012. They started on the day that was scheduled and had the work completed in 2-3 weeks. They were wonderful to work with and did excellent work. It was so nice to work with one individual who had expertise in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and flooring. I have used them since that major project for smaller projects, and have been very pleased with the quality work they do. I sometimes have to wait a while because they are so busy (good people usually are), but they are definitely worth the wait.

Initially the salesman told us our deck would be very easy to strip and treat. Then he said s few boards would need to be replaced. We were then instructed to replace the boards but would need to wait 60 days to allow the boards to cure. We decided to replace the entire deck floor. After the 60 days it was determined that the wood was still green. Postpone a few more weeks. When they came to do the job they asked us to cover our pool. We were waiting on a new pool cover. No way to cover. Nothing had been mentioned regarding the pool previously. They said all windows would be covered and they were covered. . They neglected to tell me that they would make a mess of the landscaping and the house siding. When they finished there was wood / chemical debris on all areas surrounding the deck. They did a pretty good job of protecting the swimming pool water. The deck itself looked feathered. I called to ask what to do about it and I was told to get a heavy broom and brush it with some vigor. The process was to guarantee the deck from being weathered. We'll know in the next few years.

We had contacted Justin based on Angie's list reviews.  He was prompt in returning our call and was honest and thorough in his estimate for cleaning our deck and adding some supports.  Not only did they clean the deck, they took the time to tighten up loose rails and hammer down a lot of staples that had popped up over time.  I wouldn't hesitate to use Justin for future remodeling jobs.

I contacted several companies for estimates. Wood ReNew was the first to respond. They got here promptly and answered all questions. They provided a professional estimate in writing. The next estimate I recieved was verbal, more than 3 times the price and was going to take a full week to complete.  Wood ReNew completed the job with high quality in half a day.
They did a very high quality job on the deck and also kept the house clean.
I will definitely use Wood ReNew again!

Jesse did a great job and it's very punctual. this is the third time we call him to do something for us and we are thinking in doing 3 small areas, they look great. Epoxy is a little expensive but it's worth it, it's durable and looks great, clean, it changed our garage 100%. He takes the time to show you the colors and explain the steps and options. He has great follow-up to make sure you are satisfied with the work. He cleans up when he is done and he's very responsive. Our garage looks great. A few neighbors had used him too.

Workman showed up promptly on scheduled date, courteously notified us he would begin work, and then began the cleaning process.
He returned the following day, moved some heavy pieces of furniture off the deck, then set out to apply the wood preservative.  He completely cleaned up the area, leaving nothing more than a beautifully finished deck!
After finishing, he left a bottle of barbecue sauce at the door, as a token of appreciation for our business, which was a nice touch.
