ASOUTHEAST HOME IMPROVEMENTI had them insulate my house when I built it in 2005. The owner took the time to educate me on the different types of insulation and how they work. He also explained the mistakes commonly made by inexperienced contractors and handymen that cause a home to be inefficient. My wife and I were able to make a good decision that has paid dividends every month since we moved in. Southeast Insulation showed up when they said they would, did a professional job and cleaned up the mess before they left. They did cost more than than the other bid we got, but I believe we got a much better job and the savings on my utilities have more than paid for the job anyway. I called them back this year to put seamless guttering on the house. This time the company sent a sales guy out who also took the time to talk to me about what I needed and then explain the proper way to install gutters and showed me examples of the mistakes and corners other gutter companies cut to get a cheaper price. Again, the crew showed up and did a professional job. The gutters look great and don't hold water or leak.- Ken H.

ABrandt's Fuel SaversWe added an addition to our house. Before the build we got an estimate from them using rough plans, and they were prompt with getting an estimate back to us. Several months later when we did the addition, they came back, did an updated estimate using actual measurements and again were very prompt with getting an estimate back to us. ABallard's Custom Insulation LLCI contacted the company using the phone number listed on the truck that was working at a house just up the street. I left a message requesting an estimate. Within minutes I received a call back. Within a couple hours they were at my house performing the task. The workers were pleasant / professional and completed the task well. AKeith KoehnKeith works alone by word of mouth and is usually booked. So, it may take a while to get him out to your place. He does give you an estimate of when he will be available and us usually on the mark or early. He is very polite and professional. He is an honest person and will try and give you his thoughts on what way would be best to go, even if that means he doesn't do the work. He is not cheap, but does a fast professional job which makes it reasonable compared to someone who is slow and doesn't do a good job. On the RV outlet job, I thought he undercharged me and I gave him extra. He even picked up the insulation I bought in Springfield along with the blower and returned the blower while I stayed in Mountain Grove and didn't have to drive that 60 miles. He did drive 60 miles as he lives in Mtn Grove too. I didn't have to get any of the supplies but was given the receipts so no jacked up material prices.- sheryl h.

ADunn Home Improvements LLC1) The patio took a couple of days to complete and is a beautiful new addition to my yard. 2) The basement took several weeks to complete. Lots of plastic was hung to control the dust. Josh asked for my input and opinions as section by section was completed. When the basement was complete it looked fantastic! It looked so good that it made my main level seem drab. 3) The bathrooms on the main level took about a couple of weeks to complete. Lots of beautiful tile work. Both of my bathrooms are beautiful. 4) The main level took about a month to complete. He would work on one room at a time so he didn?t disrupt the whole house. Now my entire home is brand new and looks fantastic. Josh Dunn was always punctual. He was professionally dressed and had all of the tools needed for the jobs that he performed. His work is meticulous and he is very exacting in all that he did. I've just spoken with Josh and he will be installing new electrical outlets inside of my garage and the outside soon.- Jo C.

AI was impressed with this company. I had suspect roof damage following a storm and worked with Mike who performed a roof inspection. He was very professional, customer friendly and knowledgeable. It turned out my roof did not require repair/replacement. I further commend for their integrity. If/when I am need of future roof repair I will certainly look to Freedom (and Mike) first.

ARandolph Development (D&D Cabinetry) were perhaps the best part of our entire new home construction. Dan and Danielle Randolph were able to see the vision that we had for our home and they gave creative input that made for a very unique set of custom cabinets! They operate with the utmost attention to detail--we are so pleased with the work they've done for us! Not only did they build the cabinets that we wanted, they also took on some "unfinished" projects that we needed for our new home--fixing a set of antique corbels that we wanted to use on our covered back porch, they also converted an antique fireplace mantel into a beautiful built-in book case that is in the center of our home. We have enjoyed every moment of our involvement with this company...so much so, that we have added a few more jobs to their work list! FI am highly disappointed with GoEcoExterior, a local construction company in the Ellisville area, and recommend that consumers think twice before hiring them. They pass themselves off as an experienced and highly rated company, but that is highly suspect. Do not be fooled by their polished website. I paid them a considerable amount of money only to be treated as a low priority once they received the final payment and became a victim of their smooth talking sales pitch and poor customer service. On August 13, 2019, I signed a contract to install nine replacement windows and siding on my primary dwelling, which is less than 1,000 square feet. As of today, there is still unfinished work, although I paid them in full in November 2019. In my opinion, their office staff is incompetent, and some of the worse I have ever witnessed. They are prompt in collecting money and providing excuses. The length of time it has taken them to perform these two tasks has been highly unreasonable and disrupted to my family. And their lack of empathy and unwillingness to remedy the problems encountered during this entire period is deplorable and inexcusable, which is now entering the fifth month. The only thing that has been timely is collecting payments. In late October, they installed the windows in one day, but the siding has taken over three months. Once they received the full amount in November, the work lost momentum and slowed down to a snail's pace one to days a week on average. There has been no activity since January 7, 2020. And there is still some minor unfinished work, i.e., completing window trim, shutters installation, replacement of a window that was ordered in error, and clean up and hauling a large amount of debris away from the backyard and driveway. I last spoke to Jennifer on January 24 asking for a completion date, got more excuses, and there's been no more communication from her as to the status. As a result, I have filed a formal complaint with the Missouri Attorney General Office because I no longer trust them and suspect that they have done this to others. Overall, I was pleased with the work done by the siding installers, but those who work in the office are incompetent. There were several weeks that they refused to schedule the workers without providing any reason. They used poor weather as an excuse. However, had they scheduled earlier when the weather was mild, they would have avoided the bad weather. My husband is a Vietnam veteran, entirely blind, and a survivor of two strokes so I have had to undertake this ordeal without his assistance. We are both in our 70s. I honestly believe they have no regard for taking advantage of seniors since receiving full payment. And now we appear to have been placed on their low priority list. Sadly, the unjust treatment my family has earned through this entire process from the management is unconscionable. I highly advise anyone reading this post not to waste their money and to hire a reputable company.

FThe work was substandard at best. I was deceived on the work that would be performed. I was told at the time of sales that the wood siding I had would be cut back and replaced with similar material. It was not. It was replaced with what appears to be a type of trim. I had originally called in because I wanted my house painted. They then only painted the siding and told me the trim would be extra after they had already started the job. At this point I felt like I was being held hostage to their demands. Since they had already started the job they would do what would normally cost over $2000 for around $1600. I elected not to have this additional work performed. I would have NEVER had them do any work had I known this from the beginning. There is caulk everywhere. Nothing was taped or masked. The paint lines are not straight or even. Sometimes they would paint the side of the trim the same color as the siding. In other places they wouldn't. They washed out their brushes with my house in my yard. One night they left the hose on. I asked them not to wash their brushes in my grass and one of them was rude about it. Do not recommend. The owner offered me $200 off for my troubles. I just wanted the job done right. This isn't it. A month later and I'm still waiting for them to come and touch up spots where they set their ladder against the wet paint and you can see marks on the siding because of it.

FNever heard from Gutter Brothers. A representative from Leaf Filter in Maryland Heights, MO. showed up and explained their system and gave a demonstration of their product on Saturday. We were quoted a price that included gutter cleaning and repair and installation of the gutters covers. We received a warranty that would convey with the house when we decide to sell and a 50 year guarantee. The workers showed up on Monday morning and got everything taken care of.

DI was referred here. Met the owners, family owned seemed great. I tore out the kitchen and they did flooring, base and upper cabinet instal, quartz counters, new sink, moved a dishwasher. Day 1 went great, owners were there, everything went well. Day 2, a different crew came, some minor issues. Counters arrived 2 wks later- not their fault- measurements were wrong, resubmitted them, still wrong. They were only there once for measurements. Called a friend with a different company to re-measure, magically they were right. Instal day comes, again I couldnt be there, a different crew came- scuffs on the counters, glue and trash left behind, no clean up. Disposal not hooked up ( I fixed, not connected correctly). Dishwasher started leeking, paneling was brad nailed, poorly, thru a new, what was water proof, vinyl tile, leaving exposed wood. Water leaked, panel ruined. 2 wks later they came out, said it was a manufacturing issue. After calls to the manufacturer, 3 wks of back and forth it was determined the seals got warped from being in our garage while we waited on counters for 3 months. Ask them to come put a new panel in, it was a 3 week wait. Eventually had them drop off materials and cut my losses.
