They installed the unit April 2010. March 2011 the unit was not cooling, they came out and found the freon had leaked out. They checked the unit and found no leaks. They replaced the freon with no charge under warranty. The next winter November 2011 the fan motor burned out and they temporary replaced the motor with one that worked but was not the same type of motor because he did not have one available. He was going to come back with the proper one later. No bill was sent at that time. They never came back with the correct motor.
April 2013 the unit quit cooling again. They came out and found no freon in the system. He tested for leaks and initially found no leaks. He retested the unit again and found a leak on the pressure side inside the condensor unit. He had to braise two copper pipes inside the unit and then recharge the freon.
They stated the work was not warranty work because of the time lapse and also because the leak was inside the unit their warranty only covered piping they installed from the unit into the house. The unit manufacturer warranty only covers replacement of parts.
    The bill charged for:
Two service trips at $70 each total $140.
Two mileage trip charges 60 miles @ $2 per mile total $120
Extra hours of work in addition to service call 5 hours @ $50 per hour total $250
     Freon 15 lbs @ $20 per lb total $300
     Sales tax 8.1% 24.30
    Total bill $834.30
Our position is if they had tested for leaks properly the first time everything would be covered under warrenty.

They were able to find in fix the issue in less than 20 minutes. They did not try to upsell me, I found this to be very refreshing. I have found my new heating and air company. No need to look any further!

I don't have any dislikes.  They have been very professional every time I have dealt with them.  They are pretty responsive and thorough.  The price is comparable to others.  They are very professional.

I came home Sunday 5/6/12 pulled up the companies website. Used the contact section, provided my name, phone and information / reason for request. I waited all week for a call. None received. I then returned back into town again the following weekend and called Sunday 5/13/2012 expecting to get answering service. A man answered the phone taking my name and number saying someone would call me Monday. I explained to him that I had been waiting on a call all week. He didnt offer any apology or comment on my original request submitted online. Monday morning I received a call from them saying that someone could be out sometime during the day and asked me if it would be ok. I said not a problem and was told that the tech would call before arrival. Monday came and went with no visit or call to say that they wont be able to make it. Tuesday morning I received a call saying that the tech would be there shortly. No comment was given on why the tech didnt arrive on Monday as advised.1. Dont use the online contact section as I dont believe there is a process in place to return calls or check on inquiries.2. If you dont hear from the company by mid afternoon on the day of the scheduled appt, call them to find out whats going on. 3. I had requested that the same tech who serviced my system last year come again and was told not a problem and that he would be out but another tech was sent instead. Compared with both visits, I didnt feel this tech was as thorough as the previous. Not opening the unit in the basement for leak testing etc. He brought the leak detector into the basement but only used it in one spot on the outside of the unit itself. Last year the tech removed a panel and checked inside the unit looking at the coils testing several areas for potential leaks. This tech was in the basement for no more than a couple minutes. I also learned this tech was leaving within the next couple weeks and moving out of the area. I dont feel as a consumer that this visit was as detailed and being the consumer I would most likely end up paying for additional man hours if something was problematic in the unit by having them return again for something they could have checked during this visit. Im hoping that the issues are resolved and the valve stem replacements do the trick. I know that if the other tech whom I requested came out, it would have been a much different experience.
